Abstract

Excavator is the main tool in the mining process. If the excavator is damaged, it will affect the mining process, reduce production targets, the cost of repairing damage will be high, and in the end the company will suffer losses. At PT. United Tractors Semen Gresik, based on the company's historical data from January to December 2022, the effectiveness of the Excavator unit in Mine Operation Area 1 (Tuban site) averaged 57%, of the minimum OEE standard set by the company of 75%. So it is necessary to improve to meet company standards. The purpose of this research is to optimize the performance of excavators for limestone and clay mining at PT. United Tractors Semen Gresik. The method approach in this study is carried out by calculating availability, utilization and productivity idex, then the value of overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) can be identified. After obtaining the factors that affect excavator performance, optimization is carried out using fishbone diagram analysis. The results of the research conducted show that the average total value of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) is 70%, which is still below the OEE standard set by the company, which is 75%. The factors that have the most influence on the low effectiveness of the Excavator unit using the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) method analysis are the loss time, downtime, and actual productivity factors.

Abstract

Perubahan teknologi digital dan perilaku konsumen mendorong pergeseran belanja dari sistem konvensional ke online, sehingga UMKM perlu menyesuaikan strategi pemasaran agar tetap kompetitif. UMKM Konveksi XYZ di Kabupaten Pasuruan hingga kini masih bergantung pada penjualan offline. Wawancara awal menunjukkan penjualan menurun dalam satu tahun terakhir, diduga akibat meningkatnya persaingan dari penjual yang telah memanfaatkan marketplace dan media sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi kondisi pemasaran saat ini, menganalisis kesiapan UMKM memasuki penjualan online, serta merumuskan usulan inisiasi penjualan online yang sesuai kemampuan UMKM. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif melalui wawancara dan observasi. Analisis dilakukan dengan Marketing Mix (4P) untuk memetakan kondisi pemasaran, serta SWOT dan matriks TOWS untuk merumuskan strategi. Hasil menunjukkan UMKM memiliki kekuatan internal berupa kapasitas produksi memadai dan harga kompetitif melalui sistem grosir/kulakan. Namun kesiapan masuk online masih rendah karena keterbatasan pemahaman teknologi, kekhawatiran biaya awal, dan kenyamanan pada pola offline. Karena itu, diusulkan inisiasi penjualan online bertahap melalui pemanfaatan marketplace dan media digital sederhana sebagai langkah awal adaptasi pemasaran digital.

Abstract

PT.XYZ merupakan perusahaan manufaktur yang menyediakan layanan rekayasa presisi, mulai dari pembuatan hingga perbaikan suku cadang untuk industri otomotif, alat berat, sampai kereta api. Berdasarkan data kerusakan mesin Cnc Horizontal Lathe periode 2024-2025, mesin tersebut mengalami 28 kali kerusakan dengan total downtime mencapai 5.145 menit, yang disebabkan oleh dominasi perawatan korektif dibandingkan preventif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi tingginya tingkat kerusakan dan waktu henti (downtime) pada mesin Cnc Horizontal Lathe di PT.XYZ. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Age Replacement untuk menentukan interval waktu penggantian komponen dan jadwal perawatan yang optimal. Analisis dimulai dengan identifikasi komponen kritis menggunakan diagram Pareto, yang menunjukkan bahwa komponen Oil System merupakan komponen paling vital dengan total downtime tertinggi. Hasil pengolahan data menunjukkan bahwa waktu antar kerusakan (TTF) mengikuti distribusi Lognormal, sementara waktu perbaikan (TTR) mengikuti distribusi Normal. Berdasarkan perhitungan simulasi Age Replacement Policy (ARP), ditemukan bahwa interval penggantian optimal untuk komponen oli adalah setiap 50.000 menit atau sekitar 34,7 hari. Selain itu, penelitian ini menetapkan jadwal pemeriksaan rutin setiap 5,7 hari (dibulatkan menjadi 6 hari sekali) untuk menjaga stabilitas performa mesin. Implementasi jadwal ini diharapkan dapat meminimalkan downtime yang tidak terencana serta meningkatkan efisiensi operasional dan produktivitas perusahaan secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This study aims to identify quality issues related to product rejection at PT. XYZ by applying the Seven Tools Quality Control approach to the sortation–rejection process. Rejection data for the July–August 2025 period were obtained through direct observation, interviews, and documentation. Pareto analysis shows that four major defect categories contributed the highest proportion of total rejection. In July, Honey Comb accounted for 18.82%, Fish Burn 18.76%, Powder Texture 18.44%, and Decompose 17.88%, resulting in a cumulative contribution of 73.90%. In August, Honey Comb increased to 26.79%, followed by Fish Burn at 21.32%, Powder Texture at 19.61%, and Decompose at 14.96%, with a total cumulative percentage of 82.68%. The p-chart indicates that the production process remained generally within statistical control limits, although several points exceeded these limits, indicating special-cause variations requiring further corrective actions. Fishbone analysis identifies raw material freshness, inconsistent processing methods, machine instability, and operator inaccuracy as the dominant factors contributing to Honey Comb and other defects. Overall, the application of the Seven Tools provides a clear quantitative representation of defect distribution and serves as an effective basis for establishing quality improvement priorities in the company.

Abstract

PT Lion Metal Works faces frequent raw material shortages and surpluses, disrupting production and emphasizing the need for better inventory management. This study aims to improve stock accuracy for bolt set items using the Min-Max method. The research involved analyzing historical data and forecasting demand to establish reorder points and optimal inventory levels. Data collection techniques included historical data analysis and statistical demand forecasting. The implementation of the Min-Max method increased stock accuracy from 87% to 90%. Prior to this method, inventory management experienced frequent discrepancies and inefficiencies. Post-implementation, these issues were significantly reduced, resulting in more stable inventory levels. Key factors in this improvement included precise demand forecasting, efficient procurement lead time, and effective safety stock management. The study confirms the Min-Max method's effectiveness in optimizing inventory management, cutting costs, and ensuring smoother production. Benefits of the study include enhanced stock accuracy and minimized production disruptions. Recommendations for further improvement involve developing advanced information systems, regular employee training, and better supplier relationships.

Abstract

The bottled drinking water industry needs to maintain consistent product quality in order to remain competitive and comply with applicable quality standards. This study aims to evaluate the quality performance of the 19-liter gallon production process and identify the most dominant types of defects at PT XYZ. The Six Sigma method with the DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) approach was applied. The data were collected from November 2024 to October 2025. The results show an average DPMO value of 1,027.81 with a sigma level of 4.60. During the highest defect period, the DPMO reached 1,670.18 with a sigma level of 4.43. The most common defects were loose gallon caps and leaking gallons. The main causes were related to work procedures, supervision, and machine conditions. The implementation of Six Sigma helps the company measure process performance objectively and provides improvement recommendations to reduce defects and enhance production quality.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between employee attendance levels and work productivity in an energy sector institution during the 2019–2021 period. The data used are secondary data, including employee attendance records and Employee Performance Targets (SKP) scores. The research adopts a quantitative approach with descriptive analysis, Pearson correlation, and simple linear regression techniques using SPSS software. The results of data processing indicate that employee attendance has a positive and significant relationship with work productivity. The correlation value of 0.330 suggests that the relationship between the two variables is weak to moderate. Meanwhile, the coefficient of determination of 0.109 indicates that attendance only explains 10.9% of the variation in productivity, while the remaining 89.1% is influenced by other variables outside the research model. These findings confirm that work productivity is not solely determined by attendance levels, but also by other factors such as motivation, work environment, workload, and work system.

Abstract

Raw material inventory management plays a crucial role in ensuring production sustainability, particularly for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) that operate under fluctuating demand conditions. Wondis Cokelat MSME experiences challenges in aligning cocoa raw material usage with procurement planning, which may result in excess inventory or stock shortages. This study aims to estimate cocoa raw material requirements using the Monte Carlo simulation method based on historical consumption data. The research process includes the development of probability distributions, cumulative distributions, determination of random number intervals, random number generation, and simulation of raw material demand. The simulation results indicate that the estimated cocoa demand falls within a range close to actual conditions, with a Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) value of 14%. These findings suggest that the Monte Carlo simulation model demonstrates good predictive accuracy and can support inventory planning decisions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis dan mengevaluasi sistem antrean pelayanan farmasi pada Puskesmas Bojonegoro menggunakan pendekatan simulasi Monte Carlo dan discrete event simulation berbasis Arena. Permasalahan utama berupa ketidakseimbangan antara laju kedatangan pasien dan kapasitas pelayanan yang menyebabkan antrean serta peningkatan waktu tunggu pasien. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui observasi langsung terhadap waktu kedatangan pasien, waktu pelayanan, jumlah resep, dan kapasitas tenaga farmasi. Analisis dilakukan menggunakan model antrean M/M/2 dengan indikator kinerja berupa waktu tunggu rata-rata, panjang antrean, dan utilisasi petugas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata waktu tunggu aktual sebesar 2,64 menit dengan utilisasi sistem sebesar 33%. Simulasi skenario penambahan satu petugas pelayanan mampu menurunkan waktu tunggu menjadi 1,59 menit. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan bahwa metode Monte Carlo dan Arena efektif digunakan sebagai dasar pengambilan keputusan dalam meningkatkan efisiensi pelayanan farmasi.

Abstract

This study proposes and implements a smart glasses model specifically designed to assist blind people in identifying people around them in real-time. This system utilizes computer vision technology, specifically the Local Binary Patterns Histograms (LBPH) algorithm implemented using the OpenCV library. The research process starts from facial dataset acquisition, model training, to dynamic facial recognition using an integrated camera. Test results show that the system is able to recognize faces with a certain level of confidence using a confidence threshold parameter of 80. System performance evaluation is carried out using Accuracy, Precision, Recall, and F1-Score metrics. Based on the results of experiments on three test objects, the system obtained an accuracy level of 90%–100%, a precision value of 94.7%–100%, a recall of 94.7%–95%, and an F1-score of 94.7%–97.4%. These results indicate that the LBPH algorithm has a fairly good ability to perform real-time facial recognition on smart glasses devices. This smart glasses model is expected to increase the independence, mobility, and social interaction of blind people in their daily lives.
