Interdisciplinary Social Studies
nterdisciplinary Social Studies (ISS) is an interdisciplinary publication of social studies and writing which publishes papers to international audiences of social researchers. ISS aims to provide a forum for scholarly understanding of social studies and plays an important role in promoting the process that accumulated knowledge, values, and skills are transmitted from one generation to another; and making methods and contents of evaluation and research in social, available to socialist and research workers. The journal encompasses a variety of topics, including education, management, cultural studies, law, social health, psychology, and geography, to economics belonging to the social context. Papers accepted: 1) Report evaluation and original research; 2) Literature review; and 3) An extensive book reviews section on social materials and equipment.

<![CDATA[Indonesia represents about 6% of the world's water sources. This shows that Indonesia has abundant water resources. However, the facts show that most areas of Indonesia experience a shortage of clean water supplies. This is because the spring can be lost within a certain period if there is no planning to maintain its availability. The solution offered is to fulfil clean water needs with the Kaizen method. Kaizen is a 5S philosophy that includes Seiri, Seinton, Seiso, Seiketsu, and Shitsuke. This study aims to review the application of Kaizen methods and their sustainability to be applied in Indonesia. The methods used in this study are descriptive observational are aimed at describing and describing phenomena of a scientific and human engineering nature. The results of this study are packaged in the House Model. The House Model is a tool used by an organization using a concept built to transform into action. Some activities in the house model are tailored to meet the needs of partners and further increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the programs being implemented. The program also has good sustainability in community aspects, regulations, and government.]]>

<![CDATA[Forest and land fires that occurred in Indonesia have caused many losses for the community. Forest fires generally occur in August and September, coinciding with the dry season in most parts of Indonesia. One indicator of the occurrence of forest fires is hotspots. This study uses one of the data mining techniques, namely classifying hotspots in Riau Province. This study used a dataset of forest fires in Pelalawan Regency from 2015 to 2019 using the Naïve Bayes algorithm. The hot spots to be analyzed consist of temperature, humidity, rainfall, wind speed, and class. The highest accuracy of the dataset of forest and land fires in 2019 is 96.95%. The classification method using the Naïve Bayes algorithm can be used to predict the emergence of hotspots in the future so that they can take preventive measures before forest and land fires occur.]]>

<![CDATA[Background: The use of information technology applied through information systems provides convenience to users, especially shop owners in doing work, not only in the recording of goods but also in the creation of goods data reports. Goods data is an important element in a store that must be managed properly and requires thoroughness so that applications are needed to minimize errors. Aim: It makes it easier the process of recording data of goods that previously still use manual systems. Method: In researching making application systems, the method used is a qualitative method, where the information obtained is sourced from various collections of data analysis and existing theories and then conclusions are drawn to obtain new theories. Findings: The result of this application system is that the collection of goods will be faster and reports of the entry and exit of goods more accurate. <![CDATA[Background: This article discusses the values of character education in the stories contained in Al-Qur'an surah Al-Buruuj verses 4-8. This study was motivated by the moral crisis of students in Indonesia associated with the lack of character education that refers to religious values, so researchers took a story in the Qur'an, namely the Ashaabul Ukhduud story contained in Al-Buruuj verse 4-8 for taking the values of character education, it is hoped that it can be a solution to the moral crisis experienced in this country. Aim: This study is intended to answer problems, namely what are the values of character education in the Ashaabul Uhduud story? This problem is discussed and answered through the Holy Qur'an and its interpretations which are the guidelines and explanations of Muslim scriptures. Method: Writing this thesis uses library research or library research. The method used is the tahlili method. The source of writing data is taken from books or materials that are relevant to the discussion of problems in writing this essay. The source of this research data is distinguished writing into two groups, the first is primary data sources originating from the Qur'an and interpretations then the second source is secondary data sources originating from sources/books that are still related to research problems. Findings: The values contained in Al-Buruj verses 4-8 are honesty, empathy, nationalism, tolerance, religion, discipline, courage, being a learner throughout life, and responsibility.]]>

The impact of the development of information technology on the field of education is one of them is indicated by the increasingly varied learning methods that are currently widely developed. One of the learning methods that are now starting to be widely developed is the multimedia-based interactive learning method. Aim: This research aims to find out the role of interactive multimedia on the development of children's character and religiosity at GKPB MDC Lippo Cikarang Sunday School. Method: This penelitian is causality research with quantitative method approaches. The population in the study was the parents of 33 samples of the Elim Tabernacle's Faith Victory Church. The sample used in this study was as many as 33 parents of students of Elim Tabernacle Church Victory of Faith as many as 33 samples. Findings: Interactive multimedia has a significant effect directly on the development of character and religiosity in children of GKPB MDC Lippo Cikarang Sunday School.]]>

<![CDATA[Background: The volume of electronic money transactions in Indonesia tends to fluctuate, before finally experiencing a decrease at the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic and reaching the lowest level in May 2020 which then slowly increased again until September 2021. Bank Indonesia (BI) with the government and relevant authorities cooperated in taking steps to monitor, assess, and mitigate the impact of the spread of the Covid-19 virus. Aim: This study aims to find out how the variable effect of electronic money transaction volume (e-money) influences inflation in Indonesia and how accurate the prediction of the volume of electronic money transactions in the future Method: The method used in this research is a quantitative research method with an associative type of research approach. This study uses a type of secondary data involving a quantitative variable where data in the form of Time series that takes the object of the State of Indonesia as a reference. Data involves a single quantitative predictor variable. Findings: Based on this study, the authors found that there needs to be an increase in the volume of electronic transactions by 484,630,000 to increase inflation to reach the target in 2021.]]>

<![CDATA[Background: In order to bring about a government that is just, prosperous, and still stands on a democratic government, a country must be based on the implementation of elections or elections that are fair, honest, free, and secret from the principles of good governance. Aim: This article aims to explore the settlement of election disputes conducted by Bawaslu through the Indonesian justice system’s view. Method: This research is a normative legal study by reviewing or analyzing primary and secondary data by understanding the law as a device or positive norm in the legal system that regulates human life. Findings: The duration of the settlement of the case given to Bawaslu becomes a thing that is considered less wise in the effectiveness of the settlement of words and this is different from MK which is quite the opposite.]]>

<![CDATA[Background: The use of technology in the financial sector greatly supports its productivity. Including the use of Artificial Intelligence or Artificial Intelligence that makes activities in the financial sector faster and more efficient. PT. Bank Central Asia also implemented Artificial Intelligence technology by launching a chatbot feature called VIRA. Although this vira provides various conveniences this feature has a disadvantage of this feature is that the account can be accessed without using a pin, but only with a card number and OTP code. Aim: This research aims to look at the legal protection of the use of VIRA chatbots in BCA customers' banking activities. Method: This research is included in the type of empirical juridical legal research with library research and vira application observation. Findings: The results showed that BCA customers can only access personal data using VIRA. The main facilities of chatbot VIRA are more general information services and promotions for customers. In addition, the account is not automatically logged out, so when the phone is lost others may be able to access the account of the mobile phone owner through VIRA.]]>

<![CDATA[Background: At this time the food industry sector is growing very rapidly and increasing fierce competition among business people such as the tofu industry in Banda Aceh City. This encourages the importance of the application of SCP in describing the overall state of the market both the structure, behavior, and performance resulting from industry. Aim: This research aims to describe the structure, behavior, and performance of the industry as well as the influence of these three dimensions on the tofu industry in Banda Aceh City. Method: This study uses a quantitative approach and uses a census method where the population is all tofu producers registered with the Banda Aceh City Labor Office in the industrial section of 2019-2020 which amounted to 13 industries. CR4 and IHI analysis is used to measure structure, CLR analysis is applied to measure behavior, and PCM is used to improve the performance of the tofu industry in Banda Aceh City. The effect test on 3 dimensions is measured using Path Analysis. Findings: Found CR4 values 36.43 percent, IHI 729.99 points, CLR 11.06 percent, and PCM 12.08 percent. As well as found the relationship of variable MS to PCM positive and significant, clr relationship to positive PCM is not significant and the relationship of MS to PCM through positive CLR is not significant.]]>

<![CDATA[Background: The bridge position is contained in the material book in school and joined by other materials such as large balls, small balls, and so on, which is the advantage of this rich guidebook is that it can be used anywhere and has barcodes to access bridge position training tutorial videos. With this guidebook, learners can do bridge position activities independently and also teachers have additional material resources to train bridge position on learners. Aim: This research aims to give more insight into the development of guidebooks for sports and health education for students, especially those who are in the 4th-6th grade of elementary school. Method: The research method used in this research is Research and Development (R&D). The product developed by the researchers is a guidebook with the title "Bridge position Method Guide For Class IV-VI". The guidebook of bridge position method was developed by researchers using expert judgment, then processed to get perfect results. Findings: Based on the results of the data analysis obtained from expert validation tests with excellent criteria, it can be stated that the guidebook product of grade IV-VI elementary school is a valid product and can be used as one of the learning resources for learners.]]>
