Jurnal Kajian Ekonomi dan Pembangunan (JKEP) is a peer-reviewed journal that provides a forum for scientific works pertaining to Development Economics. This journal was first published since June 2019 by the Universitas Negeri Padang.This journal published four times a year and has e-ISSN 2656-0356. JKEP is expected to be used as a reference for academicians in writing a scientific, relevant, and dynamic article to enhance the new generation that is found in writing an academic paper. The Redaction Board accepts only research in the field of legal science that already in the form of a journal article to be considered for publication. The aims of JKEP are to provides immediate open access to its content in the principle of making research freely available to the public as a support for the greater global exchange of knowledge. The language used in this journal is English or Indonesian. Scope of articles published in JKEP is consist of a broad range of topic in the field of development economics, energy economics, environmental economics, international trade, public finance, rural development, regional economics, financial development, monetary economics, industrial economics, Islamic economics, agricultural economics, and labor economics.

This study aims to find out and analyze the influence of (1) Agricultural Sector Revenues, (2) Mining Sector Revenues (3) Industrial Sector Revenues Against income distribution inequality in Indonesia. This type of research is descriptive and associative research, namely research that describes the research variable and finds the presence or absence of influence between independent variables and dependent variables. The types of data in this study are secondary data and panel data from 2012-2016 per Province in Indonesia. Data analysis used is descriptive analysis and inductive analysis. In inductive analysis there are several tests, namely: Panel Regression Model, Classical Assumption Test, t Test. The estimation results show that (1) Agricultural Sector Revenues have a negative and significant effect on Inequality of Income Distribution in Indonesia, (2) Mining Sector Revenues are not significant to Income Distribution Inequality in Indonesia (3) Industrial Sector Revenues are not significant to Income Distribution Inequality in Indonesia.

This study aims to analyze the influence of the level of education, type of work, level of health, number of dependents, ana mental/spiritual attitudes towards poverty of households in the Bayang sub-district of Pesisir Selatan district. The type of research is descriptive and quantitative research. The population of this study is poor households in the Bayang sub-district of Pesisir Sealatan district. The sample was determined based on cluster sampling technique, which was obtained through 42 respondents. This study uses multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that (1) the level of education has a positive and insignificant effect on poverty of households in the Bayang sub-district Pesisir Selatan district, (2) the type of work has a positive and insignificant effect on poverty of households in the Bayang sub-district Pesisir Selatan district, (3) level health has a positive and insignificant effect on poverty of households in Bayang sub-district Pesisir Selatan district, (4) the number of dependents has a positive and significant effect on poverty of households in Bayang sub-district Pesisir Selatan district, (5) mental/spiritual attitudes have a positive and insignificant effect on poverty of households in Bayang sub-district Pesisir Selatan district, (6) together there is a positive and significant effect on poverty of households in Bayang subdistrict Pesisr Selatan district.

This Study aims to examine and to analisys the influencing factors on economic growth in Indonesia, which the variables are e-commerce, inflation and exchange rate. This study is associative descriptive research, which using secondary data from 2011Q1-2018Q4 that obtained from relevant institutions and agencies. Analisys using Error Correction Model (ECM) method. This study using Ordinary Lest Square (OLS) method to know the long term effect and ECM to know the short term effect at one blow.The study found that in the long term, e-commerce and exchange rate have a significant effect and inflation have not a significant effect. And in the short term, e-commerce have a positive and significant effect, while inflation and exchange rate have a negative and not significant.

This study explain the determinants of educated workforce who work on the non primary employment in West Sumatra.The data used is cross section in 2018. The variables used this study are non primary employment, educated, age, work experience, residence and gender. This model uses multiple logistic regression analysis. The result shows tha: 1) educated hasQa positiive and siignificant efffect on the non pimary employmeent 2) age of workforce educated hasYa poositive and not siignificant effect on the non primary employment. 3) work experiience has a possitive and siignificant efffect on the non primary employment 4) residence has a positive and significant effect on the non primary employmen. 5) gender haas a poositive and siignificant effeect on the non primary eemployment.

Abstract: The study was conducted to: (1) Determine the response to corruption resulting fromthe shock of democracy and economic growth in Indonesia. (2) Knowing the democratic responseresulting from the shock of corruption and economic growth in Indonesia. (3) Knowing theresponse to economic growth due to the shock of corruption and democracy in Indonesia. Thistype of research is descriptive using a quantitative approach. The data used in this study aresecondary data, sourced from the KPK annual report website and sourced from BPS (BadanStatistics Center). VAR analysis method is used to determine the two-way relationship betweenvariables.The results of the research are: (1) There is no causal relationship between corruption anddemocracy. However, there is only a one-way relationship between corruption and democracy (2)There is no causal relationship between corruption and economic growth. However, there is onlya one-way relationship between corruption and growth. economy (3) There is no causalrelationship between democracy and economic growth. However, there is only a one-wayrelationship between democracy and economic growth.Based on the research results, it is suggested that the Government can implement policies inhandling cases of corruption and democracy because it will affect the welfare of society and thegovernment system in Indonesia. The government also pays more attention to the public sectorand the community's economic sector so that they can contribute to improving the welfare of thecommunity. This is aimed at improving the welfare of the Indonesian people.Keywords: Corruption, Democracy, Economic Growth, VAR.

This study aims to analyze the causal relationship between economic growth, government expenditure and the quality of human resources in West Sumatra. This type of research is descriptive and associative research, where the data used is secondary data in the form of panel data from 2010 to 2017 with the technique of collecting documentation data and literature study obtained from related institutions and institutions. The data analysis used is the data used is descriptive analysis and inductive analysis. In inductive analysis there are several tests, namely: (1) Unit Root Test (2)Cointegration Test (3) Optimal Lag Determination (4) Granger Causality Test (5) PVAR Test. The results of this study indicate that (1) economic growth and government expenditure have a one-way relationship where economic growth affects government spending while government spending does not affect economic growth (2) economic growth and quality of resources humans have a one-way relationship where economic growth affects the quality of human resources and the quality of human resources does not affect economic growth (3) government expenditure and the quality of human resources do not have one-way or two-way relationships ( causality) where government spending does not affect the quality of human resources as well as the quality of human resources does not affect government spending during the study period

This research aims to examine the factors that influence the demand for houses in Indonesia with the selected model is the Fixed Effect Model (FEM). The data used is panel data during the period 2013-2017, with the technique of collecting documentation data and library studies obtained from relevant institutions and agencies. The variables use are income, population, marriage, and inflation. The research method used is Ordinary Least Square (OLS). The estimation results show that income, marriage and inflation have a positive and significant effect on the demand for housing in Indonesia. Meanwhile simultaneously income, marriage and inflation affect the demand for housing in Indonesia.

This study examined the causality between expansionary fiscal policy, expansionary monetary policy and economic growth in Indonesia’s using a time series data with vector autoregression model (VAR) in the period of 1969-2018. The results of this study showed that are there is no causality between expansionary fiscal policy and expansionary monetary policy but there one-way relationship between them, it is the expansionary monetary policy gives influence to expansionary fiscal policy. There is no causality between expansionary fiscal policy and economic growth but there one-way relationship between them, It is economic growth gives influence to expansionary fiscal policy. And there is no causality between expansionary monetary policy and economic growth but there one-way relationship between them, it is economic growth gives influence to expansionary monetary policy.

This study examines the causal relationship beetwen macroprudential policy, and monetary policy on credit growth within a vector error corellations model (VECM) forIndonesia countries over the period November 2013 until Oktober 2018. The results of this study indicate that the macropruential policy and the credit growth does not have causality relationship, and the monetary policy and the credit growth has a causality relationship.

This research was conducted to: (1) Determine the influence of gender on household poverty in West Sumatra. (2) Knowing the effect of education level on household poverty in West Sumatra. (3) Knowing the effect of Main Work on household poverty in West Sumatra (4) Knowing the effect of the number of household members on household poverty in West Sumatra. This research is descriptive and associative. The data used is the SUSENAS year sourced from the BPS of West Sumatra Province. The method uses Logistic Regression Analysis.The results of the study are: (1) Gender has a significant positive effect on the level of household poverty in West Sumatra, the head of the household is headed by a man. -men are more likely to be poor than households headed by women in West Sumatra. (2) The level of education has a significant negative effect on the level of poverty in West Sumatra, the increase in the level of education completed by the head of the family, the less likely it is for the household to become poor. (3) Main employment has a significant positive effect on poverty levels in West Sumatra. (4) The number of household members also has a significant positive effect on the level of household poverty in West Sumatra.Based on this research, the authors suggest to the West Sumatra Provincial Government to develop human resources in advance so that all potential areas can be maximized, and will be able to support the level of community welfare in West Sumatra. Keywords: Gender, Education, Main job, Number of Household Members, Logistic Regression.Â
