Abstract

At this time, motorcycles, especially performance, are very important, where many young people now really want to increase the performance of their motorbikes. This study examines the difference in performance between the use of standard exhaust and racing exhaust on a Supra GTR K56 150 cc motorcycle. The experimental method is used by using a dynometer to measure the power and torque of the vehicle. The results showed that the use of racing exhaust resulted in an increase in power of 1.86 hp at 9000 rpm and a widening of the peak power at high engine speed. In addition, the racing exhaust also provides more controlled acceleration and a smoother power increase compared to the standard exhaust. Even though the performance increase is not significant, changing the exhaust to a racing exhaust can give a different response when the vehicle is used at high engine speed. In conclusion, the use of racing exhaust on a 150 cc Supra GTR motorcycle can produce higher performance and better response compared to the standard factory default exhaust.

Abstract

The traffic on Jalan Panjang Jiwo Permai before the construction of the hospital was quite heavy due to obstacles from cars leading to the Ubaya University parking lot, these obstacles will continue to increase because the road is a commercial area. In the commercial area of the road there are many shop houses and schools around the road which create big obstacles during school or work hours and when going home. The construction of the Ubaya Hospital has added to the traffic obstacles on the road because many trucks of construction materials will frequently cross the road. So it is necessary to carry out an analysis of the performance evaluation of the road sections due to the development to determine the speed value for the comfort of road users. This study uses the 1997 MKJI method as the basis for the analysis of road evaluation calculations. In this analysis, the researcher obtains the components of the calculation by conducting field surveys directly on weekdays and holidays. The results obtained from this study were that before the construction of road users used a speed of 48 km/hour, then during construction there was a decrease in speed of 43 km/hour by road users which caused inconvenience to road users and reduced the quality of workers' time due to traffic barriers.

Abstract

The New Capital City of Indonesia or IKN which was inaugurated in East Borneo by President Joko Widodo became one of the events awaited by not only the local community, but the people of the archipelago and abroad. The event caused an increased tourist attraction. Therefore, through that event, the increasing need for accommodation facilities that must be available is one of the long-term needs. There will be an increase in tourist visits to IKN with the aim of visiting the Zero Point of IKN or to the Presidential Palace and to surrounding attractions, both water tourism and forest tourism in Borneo. Therefore, through this research, Forest Resort is one form of effort to meet the needs of accommodation facilities for domestic and foreign tourists. The purpose of this design is to create lodging while still carrying out the first principle in IKN, namely Forest City by harmonizing principles through the application of natural and cultural atmosphere that has been given by the environment without the need to damage it. By emphasizing the importance of preserving the environment through public awareness but still being able to enjoy it. With serious implementation, it is expected to reduce the risk of excessive tree cutting in Kalimantan Forests.

Abstract

This Research was motivated by the height the influence of the East Asian Entertainment Industry, especially Korea, on the local community, which made Indonesian women’s clothing styles begin to shift, following hallyu or Korean Fashion Trend which brought a tremendous increase Creative Business Opportunities, a stalemate in the domestic market Fashion industry.The aim of this research is to find out environmental analysis business and business Feasibility Analysis of DrClth’s Business. This research uses descriptive analysis with a business plan approach. Research result in the form of analysis, business environment, carried out by assessing the marketing aspect, the production aspect, the memories aspect and the source aspect, with the result that DrClth business has good potential in the fashion Industry sector, while the business feasibility analysis is carried out by calculating analysis, financial analysis of business feasibility, exploring business sustainability, calculating the bares of sales and break event point.The conclusion of this study is that DrClth results are feasible carried out, based on the analysis of the business environment and business feasibility analysis that has been carried.

Abstract

Public transportation is one of the transportation used by the public in making movements. In urban areas with high generation and pull must be balanced with the availability of public transportation. Public transportation is said to be successful if many people use it. Fares are one of the considerations of the community in choosing public transportation. Due to the increase in fuel prices, it has an impact on the increase in public transportation fares for the Surabaya-Malang route. Therefore, it is necessary to evaluate the tariff increase to determine the ability and willingness of the people who use public transportation on the Surabaya-Malang route so that no related parties are harmed. The calculation of rates based on Abillity To Pay (ATP) and Willingness To Pay (WTP) is based on quantitative analysis.Based on the calculation of Abillity To Pay (ATP) on weekdays a tariff of IDR 28,563.92 is obtained and on holidays a tariff of IDR 20,311.27 is obtained while based on Willingness To Pay (WTP) on weekdays a tariff of IDR 19,088.07 is obtained and on holidays a tariff of IDR 18,253.69 is obtained. While the tariff applied at the time of research was IDR 20,000. ATP values on weekdays and holidays are higher than the rates applied at the time of the study so that the rates applied do not exceed the user's ability. Meanwhile, the WTP value on weekdays and holidays is lower than the tariff applied at the time of the study, so service providers must improve public transportation services.

Abstract

The effect of the internal audit function on external auditor fees is an important consideration in determining the cost of auditing and monitoring the company. This study aims to provide empirical evidence regarding the effect of the internal audit function on external auditor fees. This type of research is a quantitative analysis using descriptive statistical methods. This study uses secondary data from the annual reports of mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2021-2022. This study uses purposive sampling method and uses simple linear regression as an analysis instrument. Based on the test results conducted using the classical assumption test and simple linear regression analysis techniques, it can be concluded that the internal audit function has no significant effect on external auditor fees. Although the results of this study indicate that there is no significant effect between the internal audit function and external auditor fees, there are also several other studies that have successfully examined that the internal audit function has a significant effect on external auditor fees.

Abstract

The development of highways gave birth to something inseparable from human growth and technological progress: In addition, roads also play a role in the growth of society’s economy. Traffic accidents are unforeseen or unintentional events on the road involving vehicles or other road users and resulting in human casualties or loss of property. There are several points in the district of Sidoarjo according to the accident data of January 2022 s/d January 2023 obtained from the Lantas Polresta Sidoarjo unit.Based on the data, it can be calculated using the accident equivalent number method to know the size of the accident number in the area, as well as the method of Upper Limit Control and Upper Control limit, in order to obtain the area vulnerable to accidents in the district of Sidoarjo.The results of the analysis showed that identified 4 areas vulnerable to accidents, namely Park, Balongbendo, Sidoarjo, and Prambon. The value of the park accident equivalent number of 252 points of the UC and BKA values (BKA = 131 and UCL = 130), the AEK Value 150 is higher than the control limit (BCA = 131 and UCL = 123), the AEK Sidoarjo 168 is greater than the control limit (BKa = 131 and UCL = 124), and AEK Prambon 135 is higher than the control limits (Bka = 131 and UCL = 122).

Abstract

Transportation is the movement of people or goods using tools or vehicles from the place of origin to the destination. A level crossing is a meeting or intersection of a road with a railroad. Closing the doorstop causes the flow of traffic on the road to stop until the train passes which results in queues and vehicle delays which have an impact on fuel consumtion. This study aims to determine queues, vehicle delays and their effect on fuel use.This study uses a quantitative method with data obtained from the field, namely closing duration data, vehicle queue duration data, queue length data and vehicle volume data. data were obtained from the field for 7 days and the 3 busiest days were selected, namely Monday, Wednesday and Saturday, then analyzed using multiple linear regression.Based on the analysis, the average queue length of vehicles at level crossings on Jl. Hayam Wuruk on Monday is 71.368 m, Wednesday is 68.263 meters, and Saturday is 79.947 m. Data on average vehicle delays at level crossings on Jl. Hayam Wuruk on Monday was 281 seconds, Wednesday was 211 meters, and Saturday was 238.453 seconds. The ATIS – India method of the fuel use equation model is Y = - 0.717 + 0.005 X1 + 0.003 X2.

Abstract

The automotive industry is experiencing a very rapid development of science and technology. CVT (Continously Variable Transmission) is a transmission that is able to change the effective gear ratio smoothly or without pause so it is often called a gearless transmission. The compressive force of the centrifugal roller is influenced by the weight of the roller and the rotation of the engine itself, the heavier the roller, the greater the force to push the movable drive face on the drive pulley which results in a smaller pulley diameter. The purpose of this study is to determine the difference in power and torque generated from the comparison of the weight of standard rollers with racing rollers on a 2015 Honda Beat PGM-Fi motorcycle. In this study using a variation of standard ballast type and 11 gram racing ballast type. The research was conducted by experimental method or testing with the help of dyno tools. The results of research on the effect of the weight of standard rollers and racing rollers that produce maximum power at 6000 rpm with a power of 7.22 Hp using an 11 gram roller (racing). On a 13 gram roller (standard) the maximum power is generated at 7000 rpm with a power of 6.68 Hp. The torque produced on the 13 gram roller (standard) produces maximum torque at 6000 rpm with a torque result of 7.94 Nm. While the 11 gram roller (racing) also produces maximum torque at 6000 rpm with a torque of 8.57 Nm. By replacing the 13 gram roller weight (standard) with a lighter roller weight or 11 gram roller (racing) affects the power and torque of the 2015 Honda Beat Pgm-Fi motorcycle. The power and torque of the motorcycle are much better and more dominating by using a roller weight of 11 grams (racing).

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effect of using Pertalite fuel on the performance of power, torque and fuel consumption on motorcycles with automatic transmission. The experimental method used by collecting data shows the performance of motorcycles using Pertalite fuel and comparing them to motorcycles using lower octane fuel. Various parameters such as maximum power, maximum torque and fuel consumption were measured and compared between the two groups. The results showed that the use of Pertalite fuel had a positive effect on power performance on automatic transmission motorcycles. The maximum power produced by an engine using Pertalite is higher than that of an engine using low octane fuel. In addition, the use of Pertalite also contributes to an increase in engine torque at certain engine speeds. However, in terms of fuel consumption, although the use of Pertalite has the potential to improve fuel efficiency, the results of this study show significant variations depending on the operating conditions and settings of the motorcycle. This study provides insight into the effect of using Pertalite fuel on the performance of power, torque, and fuel consumption on motorcycles with automatic transmission. The implications of this research can be used by motorcycle manufacturers and consumers in considering the use of fuel according to their needs and preferences.
