Abstract

Breast cancer is when breast cells grow uncontrollably due to abnormal changes in genes in cell division. In Indonesia, the number of cases of breast cancer in 2020 even reached 68.858 (16.6%). One prevention of breast cancer is a case detection through breast self-examination (BSE). This study was aimed to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge about breast cancer and the act of early breast self-examination (BSE) as an early detection of breast cancer in FK UNIZAR students. This research employed a cross-sectional study, conducted at the Medical Faculty of Al-Azhar Islamic University on December 1-7 2022. A total of 132 respondents were included as the research sample. The data obtained were analyzed using SPSS with statistical tests using the Spearman Rank method. The results of the study found that 20 people (71. 4%) had good knowledge with adequate behavior and 97 people (93.3%) had poor behavior. There were 7 people (25.0%) who had sufficient knowledge with adequate behavior and 7 people (6.7%) with less behavior. And the sample that had less knowledge with sufficient behavior was 1 person (3.6%). According to the results of analysis from the Spearman's rank correlation test, it obtained a p-value of 0.001 (p-value <0.05) and a correlation coefficient of 0.284 with a negative value. There is a relationship between knowledge of breast cancer and breast self-examination behavior on FK UNIZAR students of 2019, 2020, and 2021.

Abstract

Background, Diabetes is a chronic metabolic nuisance disease that is signed by a high level of blood sugar more than a normal level. For diabetes mellitus type 2 patient, medicine consumption adherence is a very important thing to control the level of blood sugar in order to stay stable and decrease the complication risk. Research purpose, To know patient characteristic correlation including gender, age, education level, occupation, income, suffering duration, the amount of medicine that is used, complication, by adherence level of the use of anti-diabetes medicine. Research method, Quantitative analysis used a cross-sectional design. The sampling technique used total sampling. the sample used is 62 respondents. The adherence level was measured by the MMAS-8 questionnaire. Data analysis used the Chi-Square test and Ordinal Logistic Regression test. Research result, The adherence level of the use of anti-diabetes medicine in the non-adherence category are 30 respondents (48,4), quite adherence are 21 respondents (33,9), and adherence category are 11 respondents (17,7). Base on Chi-Square test result, there is a significant correlation between age group and adherence level (p=0,034) and there is no a significant correlation between gender (p=0,733), education level (p=0,891), occupation (p=0,059), income (p=0,830), suffering duration (p=0,610), complication disease (p=0,759), and the amount of medicine that is used (p=0,373) with the adherence level. The result of multivariate analysis shows age group 45-60 years old is a dominant factor that has an influence on the level of non-adherence use of medicine with a value of p=0.034 (OR=0.292, 95CI=0.091-0.939). Conclusion, Patients are classified as non-adherence to the use of anti-diabetes medicine (48,4). There is a significant correlation between age group and the adherence level. The age group 40-60 years old is a dominant factor that influences the non-adherence to the use of anti-diabetes medicine. Suggestion, Further research is needed to use a bigger sample, research the family support factor with the adherence level of the use of anti-diabetes medicine, and analyze the long-suffering factor with the level of adherence using the more varied choices.

Abstract

The incidence of Diabetes Mellitus (DM) in the world is rising particularly in developing countries where Pulmonary Tuberculosis (TB) is the most common. Diabetes Mellitus will increase the risk of Pulmonary Tuberculosis 1.5-7.8 times. The relationship between DM and TB has been proven that DM is a risk factor for TB. It affects the presence of Pulmonary Tuberculosis itself and the response to the treatment of Pulmonary Tuberculosis. Pulmonary Tuberculosis can cause glucose intolerance and worsen glycemic control in Diabetes Mellitus patients. Although Pulmonary Tuberculosis is more closely related to another immune-deficiency disease such as HIV, the number of people with diabetes is much greater. Therefore, DM is a more significant risk factor for the incidence of TB. Research Objective to find out the comparison of the characteristics of chest x- rays on Pulmonary Tuberculosis patients with Diabetes Mellitus and Non-Diabetes Mellitus at Anutapura Hospital in 2020. Research Method in this research applied an analytic observational study towards a cross sectional design. Sampling was selected through total sampling technique using inclusion and exclusion criteria. The research instrument was the patient's medical record. The results show that the most chest X-ray images on TB patients with DM are cavity images (53%) and TB patients with non-DM, the most features are fibrosis (35%). The result of the extensive description of the lesion indicatse that the extensive lesions is (15%) on TB patients with DM and (85%) on TB patients with non-DM and it is obtained that the minimal lesion is (1%) in both TB patients with DM and Non-DM. Research conclusion: There is no difference between chest X-Rays on Pulmonary Tuberculosis patients with Diabetes Mellitus and Non-Diabetes Mellitus.

Abstract

According to KEPMENKES RI No. 1014 / MENKES / SK / XI / 2008, radiation exposure measurements in the Radiology Installation room must be carried out periodically at least once a year. In one of the Radiology Installation of private hospitals in Kudus city, the implementation of radiation exposure rate testing of CT-Scan was last done in 2014. The purpose of the study was to determine the procedure for testing the radiation dose exposure rate and the results of testing the radiation dose exposure rate in the CT-Scan room. Data collection methods by means of observation, direct experimentation and documentation. Tests were conducted at 5 points around the CT-Scan room using a surveymeter, each point was measured 3 times. The test results in units of µSv / hour were converted to mSv / year. Furthermore, it was compared with KEPMENKES No.1014 of 2008 regulation that radiation exposure should not exceed the limit of 1 mSv/year. The measurement results of the radiation dose exposure rate at points A, B, D, and E did not leak. The exposure rate value obtained at points A, B, D and E is 0 mSv/year. While the measurement results of the radiation dose exposure rate at point C experienced leakage. The exposure rate value obtained at point C is 1.84 mSv/year.

Abstract

The external cause code is the code used to classify the external causes of a disease whether caused by accidents, injuries, burns, poisoning, side effects or other causes. The purpose of this study is to find out what are the factors causing the inaccuracy of the external cause code in accident cases at Mitra Medika General Hospital and how the procedure for coding the external cause code is carried out at the hospital. The type of research used is quantitative. The number of samples in this study were 4 coder officers and 32 medical record file forms with a percentage of 25% incomplete and 75% completely filled out. SOPs for disease codes and actions already exist, however, there is still no SOP for external cause cases in detail. Coding is carried out by coding officers with a background in D3 Medical Records who are guided by SOPs using ICD-10 of 2010 electronically and then entered into the INA-CBGs. The method of coding is done by first looking at ICD-10 Volume 3 and then confirming again on ICD-10 Volume 1. Chronological information on external cause events can be seen on the emergency assessment sheets, CPPT, and resumes of discharged patients. The cause of the inaccuracy of the code on the emergency assessment sheet had not been clearly written down on the chronology of events and blank sheets were still found. For encoding, it has reached the 5th character.
