Abstract

Stress is an unpleasant psychological condition that suppresses one's self and soul beyond the limits of one's ability. Stress management is the ability to use (human) resources effectively to overcome mental and emotional disturbances or disorders that arise due to responses (responses). Nurses as professionals in hospitals are very susceptible to work stress that causes physiological, psychological and behavioral disorders where stress itself is a form of physical, psychological and mental tension. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of stress management on nurse stress levels in the emergency room at RSU Manado Medical Center. This research is a quantitative study is a quantitative study through the use of correlation research with a cross-sectional method involving a sample of 14 respondents and using the sampling technique with a total sampling . Collecting data by using a questionnaire and processing data using Mc Nemar test with value (a=0.05) . The study results show that there is an effect of stress management on nurse stress levels with p value = 0.025 and value of (α ≤ 0.05). The conclusion of this study is that the effect of stress management on nurses' stress levels in the emergency room at RSU Manado Medical Center. Suggestions from this research are expected to be used as input for nurses learning process activities about stress management to reduce nurse stress

Abstract

According to the World Health Organization, there are 450 million people in the world experiencing stress. Stress that occurs in the elderly is caused by a cause of stressors, namely in the form of various physical or changes in the life of the elderly in the form of both mental and social changes. Benson relaxation can have a positive impact on reducing stress through relaxation therapy. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Benson Relaxation Technique on Stress Levels in the Elderly at the Senjah Cerah Abandoned Elderly Social Service Center in Manado City. Research conducted using. The research method is Quasi Experimental Design with an experimental one group pretest-posttest design. Samples were taken based on the number of respondents as many as 15 people using non-probability sampling. Data collection was carried out by means of a questionnaire. Furthermore, the collected data was processed using the SPSS version 16.0 computer program for analysis using the Wilcoxon statistical test with a significance level (α) 0 , 05. The results showed that the highest age frequency was 75-90 years 8 respondents (53.3%), the most sex was female 12 respondents (80.0%), the most length of stay was 7-10 years 7 respondents (46.7%) From the Wilcoxon test results, the value P Value = 0.002 with a significance <0.05. The conclusion in this study is the influence of the Benson Relaxation Technique on Stress Levels in the Elderly at the Senjah Cerah Derelict Elderly Social Service Center in Manado City. Suggestions are expected to increase family visits to the elderly in guest houses

Abstract

Knee pain is one of the most common complaints among the elderly. At this age, the main cause is osteoarthritis or arthritis. In the environment around us, sometimes we still often encounter elderly people who are still active and healthy, even physically fit, full of ideas and still productive and even more physically fit than younger people The purpose of this study was to determine how the activities of the elderly to maintain knee health. The benefit of this research is for people who before entering old age can imitate and do the same thing to maintain knee health in old age. This research is a qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. The time approach used in this research is any time. The research population is elderly people in 3 sub-districts in the city of Semarang. The research sample was taken purposively to obtain informants according to the purpose of this study, namely elderly people who can provide information about how their activities are so that their knee health remains good. The researcher used 5 elderly people who had healthy knees as the main informants, while the trangulation informants were an anatomy lecturer and a physiotherapist. Data analysis used descriptive analysis (content analysis). The results of this study are that elderly people who have curved feet have better posture, because they can maintain body balance when standing, walking, running and jumping by distributing body weight evenly throughout the legs, elderly people must move their body by walking every day. days regularly or as often as possible, elderly people who do not consume milk have healthy knees, elderly people who do not take supplements for bones and joints still have healthy knees, elderly people should avoid movements that can cause knee arthritis . Advice that can be given is for elderly people who have flat feet should use footwear or shoes that are in accordance with the shape of the foot and the activity being carried out, consult a doctor about forms of exercise or exercise that are in accordance with health conditions, maintain normal weight, avoid activities or sports that put excessive stress on the legs, take time for a quick warm-up before moving, cooling is as important as warming up, moving the body by walking or any movement for at least 20-30 minutes per day on a regular basis or at any time, exercising all muscles support the knee. (Can walk, bike or swim).

Abstract

Pregnancy is an important period of life. At that time the mother must prepare herself as well as possible to welcome the birth of her baby. WHO (Word Health Organization), states that the prevalence of LBW in the world is 20 million (15.5%) annually, and developing countries are the largest contributor, which is around 96.5%. This research is an analytic survey with a cross sectional approach. The research population was 72 people. A sample of 43 respondents using the Random Sampling technique, namely the total population that will be used as a population. The research instrument uses Primary Data (Questionnaire) which consists of 20 questions. The independent variable in this study was the nutritional status of pregnant women with low birth weight. And the dependent variable of this study is age, occupation, education, parity, source of information. The results of the study were that most of the mothers, as many as 20 people (44.4%) of respondents had less status. The results of the chi-squer test obtained a p-value of 0.030 <0.05 so that Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. In this study, there are factors that affect the nutritional status of pregnant women with low birth weight in the Work Area of ​​the Panyabungan Jae Health Center, Panyabungan District, Mandailing Natal District. It is hoped that the cooperation of health workers, cadres and parents will fulfill balanced nutrition in toddlers to avoid LBW. Abstract

Covid-19 was designated by WHO as a global pandemic in March 2020, for this reason the government issued policies, promotive and preventive services, in this case, calling for the implementation of Clean and Healthy Life Behavior (PHBS) including household. PHBS itself has not been fully implemented in the community, if you refer to this that health problems in the community are caused by habits and perceptions, this is expressed by Rosenstock regarding the Health Belief Model, especially perceived severity. Based on data from the Maros District Health Office in Simbang District, the coverage of PHBS is 25% and those who have not PHBS are 75%. This study aims to determine the relationship between the perceived benefit approach and the application of household PHBS during the Covid-19 pandemic in the community of Simbang Village, Maros Regency. The research method used is a quantitative study with a cross-sectional design. The population in this study is the community in this case housewives who have babies/toddlers totaling 290 people. Sampling by purposive sampling method with a total of 166 people. The data analysis method used a bivariate test with a Chi-Square correlation test. The results showed the results of the Chi-Square test variable perceived benefit (p-value 0.192). Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that there was no relationship between the perception of benefits and the application of household PHBS, which was due to other factors that dominated the community in implementing household PHBS during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Telehealth is the delivery of health services, where patients and healthcare providers are separated by distance. Developments of information and communication technology have a very significant influence in every aspect of human life, one of which is in supporting the application of information and communication technology in the health sector, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic. X Hospital is located in Cikarang, is a type B private hospital. Most of the patients of X Hospital are BPJS patients, and according to the hospital administration, the percentage of BPJS patients can reach more than 80%. X Hospital was one of the Covid-19 referral hospitals in the Bekasi Regency area. The use of telehealth can improve patient care outcomes, mainly due to reduced time and costs for transportation and reduced barriers for patients to access to specialists. The purpose of the study was to get an overview of the effect of the Covid-19 pandemic on the perceptions of doctors and nurses in the use of telehealth at X Hospital. The method used for this research is qualitative method where data collection is done by interview about the perceptions of doctors and nurses in the use of telehealth at X Hospital. The results showed that the use of telehealth services at X Hospital was still limited to post Covid-19 patients and non-BPJS self-isolation patients. Most doctors have not supported the implementation of telehealth or telemedicine services for patients other than Covid-19 patients, due to obstacles in terms of medical ethics.

Abstract

Health workers are obliged to carry out Early Breastfeeding Initiation of newborn babies to their mothers for at least 1 hour, if there are no medical contraindications. By doing Early Breastfeeding Initiation the inner bond between mother and baby will be closer, doing Early Breastfeeding Initiation also makes the baby have antibodies faster so as to prevent infectious deaths in babies. There are obstacles in doing bounding attachman, namely the lack of family support in providing peace between mother and baby, mothers who experience illness, babies who experience premature, sick babies, and physical defects so that after birth cannot be done Early Breastfeeding Initiation and the presence of unwanted presence. The purpose of this study was to determine the success of Bounding Attachment through the Early Breastfeeding Initiation Process at Tawiri Health Center. This study is an analytic survey with a retrospective cross-sectional design or design. The research was conducted at the Tawiri Health Center in October to December 2022. The sample in this study were 60 mothers who gave birth at the Tarwiri Health Center. The sampling technique used by non probability sampling with purposive sampling method. Bivariate analysis using SPSS chy - square test. The results of the study there is a relationship through the process of initiation of early breastfeeding by skin contact, work, economy, labor process and family and husband support with the success of Bounding Attachment at the Tawiri Health Center in 2022. And it is recommended to the health center to be able to carry out Early Breastfeeding Initiation for laboring mothers who have no indication during the delivery process so that bounding attachment is established.

Abstract

Health promotion is a core quality issue to raise awareness and maintain quality of life. Standards for health promotion in hospitals are needed to ensure the quality of services provided. Therefore, WHO formed a working group at the 9th International Conference on Health Promotion Hospitals, Copenhagen, in May 2001. This study aims to analyze the effect of the regulations on the communication skills of health officers at Dr. Wahidin Sudirohusodo General Hospital, Makassar. This study uses a quantitative research design using a cross-sectional approach. The population and sample in this study are health officers and inpatients at Dr. Wahidin Sudirohusodo General Hospital, Makassar. Based on the results of bivariate analysis using the Chi-square test, it is concluded that there is a significant effect of regulation on the communication skill abilities of health officers. It is hoped that the hospital will improve the quality of hospital health promotion implementation through health promotion training such as effective communication training and hospital health promotion management.

Abstract

Background: Hospitals are one of the most important parts of the health care system. The hospital functions as a referral place from other referral places, so the hospital as a health service institution also carries out health efforts with a preventive, promotive, curative and rehabilitative approach. This research aims to describe, summarize various conditions, various situations, or various phenomena of reality that are happening in society. Method: This research uses qualitative techniques with a descriptive approach. The instruments used are interview guidelines, notebooks, stationery, recording devices and cameras. The research was conducted in July-August 2022. The main informants in this study were the Deputy Director of Services, Head of Planning and Programs, Head of Service, and Head of General and Administrative Subdivisions. Abstract

Neck pain is pain that appears in the back of the neck, right neck, left neck, or front neck. Neck pain generally occurs due to pulled neck muscles, pinched nerves, or calcification of the joints. In general, neck pain or neck pain is not a serious condition that needs to be watched out for. This condition can heal in a few days or a few weeks without special treatment. However, there are also neck pains that appear as a symptom of certain diseases. Meanwhile, muscle tension in the neck is the most common cause of muscle pain. Usually this muscle tension is triggered by: Poor posture when walking, standing or sitting. Incorrect sleeping position or uncomfortable pillow use. In this study, the focus is on how to deal with or treat neck muscle pain and tension with acupressure, hitting and motion therapy. So in other words this research is to examine the activities of handling pain and tension that often occur in the neck muscles with the acupressure, motion and neck therapy methods. Besides that, you can find out how far the effectiveness of the method is. The hope of the researchers themselves is to get maximum results and gain new knowledge from this activity and to provide references for other researchers in the future.
