Abstract

Background: Hypertension is a problem that needs to be watched out for because it lacks specific signs and symptoms. Individuals with hypertension may still feel healthy and engage in normal activities, which is why hypertension is referred to as a silent killer. Objective: To determine the influence of chayote soup and celery leaves on blood pressure levels in respondents with hypertension in the East Kalabahi Village, Teluk Mutiara District, Alor Regency, East Nusa Tenggara. Method: This research is a quantitative study that involves experiments to investigate the effects of treatment. The research design used is a pre-experimental design (Nondesigns), specifically the One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The sample for this study consists of 30 individuals selected through total sampling. Results: The results of the paired-sample t-test for systolic blood pressure obtained t(29) = 9.798, p-value = 0.000 < α = 0.05. The Wilcoxon Signed Ranks test for diastolic blood pressure produced Zhitung = -3.694, p-value = 0.000 < α = 0.05. This indicates that the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected, and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. Conclusion: There is an effect of chayote soup and celery leaf consumption on blood pressure levels in individuals with hypertension in the East Kalabahi Village, Teluk Mutiara District, Alor Regency, East Nusa Tenggara.

Abstract

Introduction: Adolescence is a period that is passed in every individual development, adolescent development is a period of individual development which is a period of achieving mental, emotional, social, physical and escape patterns from childhood to adulthood. Objectives: To find out the relationship between the level of knowledge about anemia and the compliance with consumption of Fe tablets in young women at MTs Raudhatul Muta'allimin in 2021. Methods: The research design used is correlation analytic with a cross-sectional correlation or cross-sectional approach. Cross-sectional approach. The population in this study were female students at MTs Raudhatul Muta'allimin 75 people. The sample calculation in this study was total sampling. The sample inclusion criteria in this study were young women who attended school at MTs Raudhatul Muta'allimin in 2021. The instrument used a questionnaire. In this study, the Chi-square or qai-square test was used to see the dependence between the independent variables and the dependent variable on a nominal or ordinal scale. Results: The results of the bivariate analysis of the level of knowledge of anemia showed p = 0.000, and the bivariate analysis of adherence to Fe tablet consumption showed p = 0.000. Conclusion: Based on the results of research on the relationship between the level of knowledge about anemia and adherence to Fe tablet consumption in adolescent girls at MTs Raudhatul Muta'allimin in 2021.

Abstract

Introduction: The development of today's era has affected a person's behavior, especially the effect of peers. Peers can affect behavior, the effect is in the form of positive effect and negative effect. The effect of peers plays an important role in drug use, this is because it is a condition of convenience to be accepted by members of their peer group. Objectives: This study aims to determine the relationship between peer effect to drug use in adolescent class 12 at Taruna Bhakti Cianjur Vocational School, 2021. Method: This study used quantitative research with correlation research and a cross-sectional design where the population in this study was 12th-grade students at SMK Taruna Bhakti Cianjur with a total sample of 82 students. The sampling technique used is random sampling. The instrument consisted of 2 questionnaires, namely the peer influence questionnaire and the drug use questionnaire which the researcher made himself. Data analysis used in this study was univariate and bivariate analysis using the chi-square test. Result: The results of the analysis relationship between peers' effect on drug use found that there are as many as 38 (46,3%) respondents to peers effect positive effect on drug use make use of. while the respondents to peers had a negative effect on drug use make use of there is 26 (53,7%). The results of the statistical test obtained the value of pvalue= 0,002 smaller than 0,05. Conclusion: there is a relationship between peers' effect on drug use in adolescents. The advice is that it is wiser to use drugs according to the doctor's advice.

Abstract

Introduction: The transformation of judgments of behavior, feelings, and reasoning into either right or wrong is referred to as moral development. There are three forms of moral classification, namely Preconventional, Conventional, and Postconventional. Objective: The research aims to analyze the moral development of children influenced by peer relationships and the mother's employment status. Method: The research adopts a cross-sectional approach in a quantitative research design. The population involved in the study consists of students in grades 5 and 6, with a sample size of 80 students. The sampling method used is total sampling. Data collection is done through a questionnaire, and data analysis employs the chi-square test. Results: Based on calculations using the chi-square method, the p-value for the variable of the mother's employment status is 0.024, while the p-value for the peer relationship variable is 0.514. Conclusion: The moral development of children is not influenced by peer relationships and the mother's employment status.

Abstract

Introduction: Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a neurodevelopmental disorder characterized by deficits in social communication, limited interests, and repetitive behavior. In children with ASD, eating disorders are characterized by eating behavior, namely food selectivity. Objectives: This research was conducted to look at the relationship between sensory profiles and eating behavior in children with ASD in 2022. Method: Using correlational observational research with a cross-sectional design. Determining the sample size was carried out using consecutive sampling and it found that 97 respondents were parents of children with ASD who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria on the Autism Spectrum Disorder Care Platform. Data collection was carried out online using standard Short Sensory Profile (SSP) and Child Eating Behavior Questionnaire (CEBQ) instruments. Bivariate statistical test, this study uses Spearman correlation. Result: From the research results, it was found that the relationship between the sensory profile and the eating behavior of children with ASD was 0.138 or p-value> 0.05. Conclusion: There is a relationship between sensory profiles and the eating behavior of children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) at the ASD Research Center in 2022.

Abstract

Introduction: The incidence of CHD at the Kalabahi Hospital has increased every year. In 2019, there were 568 CHD patients, and about 60% of the total CHD patients experienced complications of Kidney Failure, so they had to be hemodialyzed and had an impact on sudden death. Objectives: This study aims to determine the relationship of physical activity, smoking habits, and hypertension to coronary heart disease at the Kalabahi Hospital Polyclinic, Alor, East Nusa Tenggara, 2022. Methode: Type of analytical research with a cross-sectional approach. The sample in this study was 52 CHD patients undergoing outpatient treatment at the Kalabahi Regional Hospital Polyclinic. The sampling technique used in this research is Total Sampling. data collection techniques using questionnaires. Data analysis used the Pearson Product Moment statistical test and Multiple Correlations to determine the relationship between Physical Activity, Smoking Habits, and Hypertension in Coronary Heart Disease. Result: Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that the relationship between physical activity and coronary heart disease had a p-value of 0.000. The relationship between smoking habits and coronary heart disease has a p-value of 0.040 and the relationship between hypertension and coronary heart disease has a p-value of 0.000. Conclusion: There is a relationship between physical activity, smoking habits, and hypertension in coronary heart disease at the Kalabahi Hospital Polyclinic, Alor, East Nusa Tenggara, 2022.

Abstract

Introduction: Hospitals or Puskesmas are faced with competitive challenges and a competitive environment. Hospitals or Public Health Center are required to provide quality nursing services so that they can meet patient expectations and satisfaction. Objectives: The purpose of this study was to describe the quality of nursing services and the level of patient satisfaction and to know the relationship between the quality of nursing services and patient satisfaction in the UPTD. Maritaing Public Health Center, Alor Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province. Methode: The type of research used in this research is descriptive and correlative. The sample in this study was 80 patients in the inpatient room. The sampling method in this study used a purposive sampling technique. The instruments used in this study were demographic questionnaires, nursing service quality questionnaires, and inpatient satisfaction questionnaires. Test the hypothesis by using the chi-square test. Result: The results of research that has been carried out in the inpatient UPTD. Puskesmas Maritaing can conclude that the average value for the quality of nursing services is 64, which is included in the good quality category with an interval of 60.1 – 80, the average value for patient satisfaction is 67.8, which is included in the satisfied category with a value interval of 60.1 – 80, while Based on the results of the analysis with the chi-square correlation test, it is known that the Asymptotic Significance value is 0.000 = 0.05, namely 0.000, which means Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Conclusion: There is a strong and significant influence between the quality of nursing services and the level of patient satisfaction in the UPTD inpatient room. Maritaing Health Center, Alor Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province.

Abstract

Introduction: Cyberbullying is an act that will have physical, psychological emotional, psychosocial, and school-related impacts. Objectives: This research was conducted to see the relationship between parenting and culture with the incidence of cyberbullying among adolescents at MTsn 16, East Jakarta 2022. Method: Observational study with a cross-sectional research design. The population in this study were all 9th-grade students at MTsN 16 East Jakarta, totaling 582 students. Meanwhile, the sample to be used was calculated using the Slovin formula, namely 237 students and female students. Modification of the Revised Cyberbullying Inventory (RCBI), while parenting style uses the Parenting Style and Dimension Questionnaire (PSDQ) measurement tool, and culture uses the Middle Schools Environmental Literacy Instrument (MSELI) measurement tool. Result: The results show that there is no relationship between parenting and culture variables and the incidence of cyberbullying in adolescents with a p-value of 0.508 (p-value> 0.05). Conclusion: It is expected that teenage parents will always pay attention to their children when using social media.

Abstract

Introduction: Posyandu is one of the health service programs provided by the local village to make it easier for the community to check health, especially for pregnant women and toddlers, therefore the activeness of mothers and tollers is very important in this activity so that toddler nutrition is monitored and the health of pregnant women is monitored. Objectives: To determine the relationship between maternal literacy level in toddlers to the activeness of Integrated Healthcare Center visits. Method: Using a quantitative research type with an analytic survey design through a cross-sectional approach method, determining the sample using a total sampling technique, the instrument used was a questionnaire and univariate and bivariate analysis tools. Result: Based on the results of the study, it was obtained that the chi-square test obtained a p-value of 0.316 or equal to > 0.050. Conclusion: There is no relationship between the level of maternal literacy in toddlers to the activeness of visiting Posyandu Nusa Indah RW 03 Cigombong Village, Bogor Regency, this happens because in searching for health information, mothers use internet media rather than getting information directly through Integrated Healthcare Center.

Abstract

Introduction: Adolescence is a period of transition from the childhood phase to the maturity phase. During this period there are changes both mentally, physically, and emotionally and it becomes a very important phase for someone because of that, this phase becomes a phase for them to find their identity. One of the things that should be a concern in this case is early marriage because it occurs in the teens. The role of parents in the family is very important to reduce the number of underage child marriages, in North Maluku province, cases of underage child marriage cross national boundaries. Objectives: The aim was to get an overview of the relationship between adolescent social knowledge and parental supervision of the incidence of early marriage in Kukumutuk Village in 2022. Subjects in This study were adolescents aged 15-19 years in Kukumutuk Village. Method: The type of research used in this study was descriptive quantitative with a cross-sectional design. The sample in this study consisted of 78 teenagers aged 15-19 years. The researcher used a total sampling technique in taking the sample. The data collection instrument uses a questionnaire. Data analysis in this study used univariate analysis and bivariate analysis with the chi-square test. Result: The relationship between the level of knowledge of adolescents and the incidence of early marriage was obtained by p-value = 0.000 < α = 0.05. The relationship between social relations and the incidence of early marriage was obtained by p-value = 0.000 < α=0.05. The relationship between parental supervision and the incidence of early marriage was obtained by p-value = 0.00 < α = 0.05. Conclusion: There is a relationship between the level of adolescent knowledge, social interactions, and parental supervision and the incidence of early marriage in Kukumutuk Village, Kao Subdistrict in 2022.
