Abstract

Human resources occupy a very strategic position in every business organization because humans are the main mover for the smooth production process and even the organization's running in order to achieve its goals. Once the importance of this human factor, then the issues of humanity in the company need to get attention from the management. The availability of potential and productive human resources in the context of increasing productivity is very important in the current era of industrialization. The purpose of this study is to determine whether work discipline, work experience, and salary have a significant effect on employee performance at PT. Indo Gula Pastika Sragen. The population in this study were employees of PT. Indo Gula Pastika Sragen. The sampling technique in this study is saturated sampling, namely taking the entire sample of 80 respondents. The research method uses multiple linear regression analysis using the F test, t test and dominant test with a significant level of 5%. The results of the study and the hypothesis show that work discipline, work experience and salary have a simultaneous effect with the results of multiple linear regression in the F test obtained Fcount of 159.674 greater than Ftable 2.72 while partially through t-test obtained tcount for each variable, namely Discipline Work (X1) is 5,849 Work Experience (X2) is 6,163 and Salary (X3) is 7,310 greater than the ttable value of 1,665, so the independent variables, namely Work Discipline, Work Experience and Salary have an effect on the dependent variable of Employee Performance. While the salary variable has a dominant effect on employee performance at PT. Indo Gula Pastika Sragen, and preferably the leadership of PT. Indo Gula Pastika Sragen can continue to maintain and even improve employee performance so that the main goal of the company can be achieved perfectly.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of inflation and interest rates on MSME turnover in Makassar City. The type of data used is secondary data from library research, both quantitative and qualitative. The population in this study is all reports on inflation and interest rates as well as reports on the turnover of the Makassar City MSME Service. The data analysis techniques used are multiple linear regression analysis, f-test, and t-test. Simultaneously the comparison between F-count and F-table which shows that F-count > F-table, indicates that the independent variables together have a significant effect on the dependent variable, so that the Inflation Rate (x1) and Interest Rate (x2) variables jointly have a significant effect on the turnover of MSMEs in Makassar City at a significant level of 5%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of economic openness which is divided into export openness, import openness, and foreign investment openness on income inequality at the provincial level in Indonesia. The estimation method used is the fixed effect method. The data used is panel data from 29 provinces in Indonesia. Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that only export openness had a significant effect on reducing income inequality at the provincial level in Indonesia, while import openness and foreign investment openness had no significant effect.

Abstract

Economic growth is one indicator as a measure of the progress of economic development in a country or region. Economic growth is defined as the development of activities in the economy that causes goods and services produced in the community to increase and the prosperity of the community to increase. This study aims to determine the effect of consumption, exports and imports on the regional economic growth of North Sumatra. This study uses secondary data obtained directly from the Central Statistics Agency and related agencies or agencies. The analysis used is descriptive quantitative with multiple linear analysis model. In this study using Eviews 8.0 as an estimation tool. The results of the research conducted indicate that consumption has a negative and significant effect on economic growth in North Sumatra with a significance value of 0.0000 which is smaller than the 5% significance level. Exports have a positive and significant effect on economic growth in North Sumatra with a significance value of 0.0000 which is smaller than the 5% significance level. Imports have no effect on economic growth in North Sumatra with a significance value of 0.8300 which is greater than the 5% significance level, and consumption, exports and imports have a significant effect on economic growth in North Sumatra. Then there is a relationship between consumption, exports and imports with economic growth of 78.9% and another 21.1% is explained by other factors not mentioned in this model.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of E-Marketing strategy on product purchasing decisions of PT. Rovca Clothing in Makassar in 2017, in terms of the aspects of trust, ease (easy to use), information quality (information quality), and price (price). , as well as other research results that are relevant to the object under study, in this case primary data from the company PT. Rovca Clothing Makassar. The statistical analysis used in this study is multiple regression analysis using the SPSS 20 program. The results of this study indicate the variables of trust, ease of use, information quality, and price simultaneously (together) have a significant effect on product purchase decisions PT. Rovca Clothing Makassar in 2017. This is evidenced by the results of the F test with a significance level below 0.05. The variables of trust (trust), ease (easy to use), quality of information (information quality), and price (price) have a partial and significant effect on product purchasing decisions with each significance level below 0.05. The most dominant variable influencing product purchasing decisions is trust. This is evidenced by the Beta coefficient of trust is greater than the other variables, namely 0.233. Abstract

From the initial survey, it is known that there are weaknesses in employee performance, which can be seen from the high level of employee absenteeism which can affect the company's performance. The problem studied is how the motivation, work environment and employee performance, is there any influence of motivation and work environment on employee performance partially or simultaneously. This study aims to determine how the motivation, work environment and employee performance of Hotel Muria Semarang, to determine the effect of motivation and work environment on the performance of Hotel Muria Semarang employees either partially or simultaneously. The conclusion is that motivation is in the good category, the work environment is in the good category, and the performance of the Muria Hotel Semarang employees is in the good category. Motivation has an influence on employee performance with a contribution of 12.04%. The work environment has an influence on employee performance with a contribution of 8.88%. Motivation and work environment together have an influence on employee performance with a contribution of 37.6%. Suggestions that can be given in this study are indicators of the need for security, namely the absence of a better future guarantee from the company. It is hoped that the need for security can be overcome, such as by having a pension fund after the work period is over or an old-age guarantee. On the indicator of social needs, namely the lack of interaction between employees Motivation and work environment together have an influence on employee performance with a contribution of 37.6%. Abstract

Auditor switchingis the process of changing the Public Accounting Firm (KAP) carried out by the company. Auditor switching in Indonesia can be done mandatory or voluntary. It is this voluntary auditor switching that raises suspicion from stakeholders to find out the cause. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of going concern opinion, KAP size and profitability on auditor switching. The results of this study indicate that the variables of going concern opinion, KAP size and profitability have no effect on auditor switching. The value of Nagelkerke R Square is 0.029, which means that the variability of the dependent variable that can be explained by the independent variable is 2.9%, while the remaining 1.9% is explained by other variables outside this research model. Suggestions for further research to have extensive information about the object of research, use other measures on the same variable, and add other variables for further research.

Abstract

Unemployment is the most crucial problem in an economy, the problem of unemployment occurs as a result of an imbalance between available employment and the number of workers who increase every year. This research was conducted to find out how much influence economic growth and the human development index have on unemployment in Indonesia for the period 2011-2018. This research is a quantitative research that uses secondary data in the form of panel data. Secondary data was obtained from the Central Statistics Agency. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression analysis with the selected model, namely the fixed effect model. The results show that economic growth has a positive and insignificant effect on unemployment in Indonesia. While the human development index has a negative and significant effect on unemployment in Indonesia. The suggestion from this research is that the government should pay more attention to the HDI sector by increasing and distributing it to remote areas where the HDI level is still lacking or low.

Abstract

A person's buying behavior towards a product is influenced by many factors. Each individual has different desires and tastes. Product quality is a very influential factor in purchasing decisions, besides that there are many other factors that influence the buying behavior. This study aims to analyze the effect of product quality, promotion and design on purchasing decisions for Yamaha Mio motorcycle products and analyze the variables that have the most dominant influence on purchasing decisions for Yamaha Mio motorcycle products in the community in the Surakarta area. From the results of the classical assumption analysis, the normality test with the Kolmogorov-Smirnov obtained is significantly greater than 0.05, which means that the data distribution is normal. Multicollinearity test obtained VIF and Tolerance values ​​that are close to one so that it can be concluded that the regression model has no multicollinearity problem, while the heteroscedasticity test using the Glejser method states that there is no problem. Based on the results of multiple linear regression analysis from the t test, it was found that partially product quality had a significant effect on purchasing decisions for Yamaha Mio motorcycle products, while promotion and design had a significant effect on the 5% level. From the results of the F test that simultaneously product quality, promotion and design have a significant effect on purchasing decisions for Yamaha Mio motorcycle products where the value of F count > F table. Product quality has the most dominant influence on purchasing decisions for Yamaha Mio motorcycle products. The R square value is 0.255,

Abstract

In general, employee performance can be improved through increased compensation and work motivation. With the compensation provided by the company to employees, the enthusiasm, willingness, and thoroughness of employees at work will be maximized, focused, and disciplined. This study aims to determine and analyze the first strategy of human resource management in improving the performance of employees of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia 1 (Persero) Medan. Second, to find out the results of the SWOT analysis of the strategy for improving employee performance with the IFAS and EFAS matrices, it is possible to identify important factors from both the external and internal environment which are the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of improving performance. The research approach carried out in this study is descriptive qualitative, the author also uses SWOT analysis. SWOT analysis is the identification of various factors systematically to formulate corporate strategy. From the analysis results obtained a growth strategy or growth oriented strategy, this strategy indicates a strong company condition and is able to continue to grow by taking the opportunities and opportunities that exist to achieve maximum turnover. This strategy was chosen because the calculation results are in quadrant I where the total weighted score for strengths and weaknesses is 2.710504 while the total weighted score for opportunities is 2.653142. Positions in this quadrant are very profitable and can be applied to the fullest. SWOT analysis is the identification of various factors systematically to formulate corporate strategy. From the analysis results obtained a growth strategy or growth oriented strategy, this strategy indicates a strong company condition and is able to continue to grow by taking the opportunities and opportunities that exist to achieve maximum turnover.
