Abstract

Hydroponics is a method without using soil media, but by using a solution of minerals, sand, broken bricks, sawdust, etc. which serve as a substitute for soil media. Cultivation of hydroponic vegetables belonging to the village-owned enterprise (BUMG) of the Beurawe village was established with the aim of increasing the economic growth of the community, being able to accommodate labor, having additional income for the community.

Abstract

This community service aims to provide education and socialization in understanding the dangers, prevention, transmission, and how to break the chain of the spread of covid-19. The method used in this community service is in education and socialization of a clean and healthy lifestyle to anticipate the spread of Covid-19 by distributing masks, making hand sanitizer s, washing clean and correct hands, and doing healthy exercise. The result of this community service activity is that residents gain knowledge through the education and socialization stages in distributing free masks, making hand sanitizer s, and washing their hands clean and properly. The implementation of education and outreach encourage residents of Lubok Batee Village practicing a clean and healthy lifestyle. They understand how to use masks, provide hand washing facilities, avoid direct contact with other residents, comply with health protocols, know the types of disposable masks and types of re-wash masks. Furthermore, they have better understanding the lifestyle patterns and behaviors in society by consuming healthy foods in a balanced manner.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the role of parents in children's participation in religious activities. This research is a qualitative descriptive study that describes the facts in the field, with the problem of the role of parents in children's participation in religious activities in Jeulingke Village, Banda Aceh. The data was obtained directly from parents who have children aged 6-12 years and secondary data sources, namely supporting data in this study including books, the internet, and other relevant library materials with the focus of this research. The results of the following research are: First: the role of parents in children's participation in religious activities, namely parents foster, parents train, parents make themselves role models for their children; parents give loving attention with warmth to the child; parents are responsive to children's needs; parents encourage children to be more active in participating in religious activities. Second: The role of family education (parents) is very decisive in nurturing their children.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic delays learning activities on campus, especially in the process of practicum, student community service (KPM), and completing final assignments. Not only students, the pandemic also has an impact on the society. This condition requires the society to be healthy for doing daily activities. One way to do it is by consuming healthy and natural food such as vegetables or herbals. The objectives of this study were (1) to identify the types of to improve the health status of society, (2) to find out the way of using herbals in the program and the benefit of it as raw materials for herbal medicine as an alternative of chemical drugs. The KPM student initiates to make a living pharmacy to improve the body’s immune system. The students performs Covid-19 prevention socialization and train the village community of Doy, in the cultivation of herbs to maintain the immunity. The expected result of such activities is increasing society’s interest in growing a living pharmacy plant in their yard, increasing society knowledge in optimizing their garden for the cultivation of living pharmacies, and increasing public knowledge regarding the advantages of each herbal plant

Abstract

The existence of Gamelan which assisted by today’s digital media is attract the enthusiasm of many people from all generations. With the presence of digital media as a tool that makes it easier to work in the creation of art, the music industry is expanding. Apart from that, the electronic music presented by an idealist person has purpose and intent of sound that is outside the industrial habits that occur. Gamelan and Energy is an art work designed on the basis of the creator's awareness that the presence and advancement of technology must coexist with the traditions inherent in society. Movement and development became a strong foundation for designing and creating this work. The elaboration of traditional Balinese creation methods and music creation methods by Roger Session became the basis for the process of forming this work. Electronic devices and acoustic instruments in the form of gamelan are used as the medium of expression in this work. Gamelan as an object of the sound reality is the basis of footing and Energy as power or strength in carrying out a form of development that refers to the existence of the subject in this work. In addition, energy as power or strength is also presented in electronic devices as a medium for manipulating sound. Each part of the compositional structure in this work implements a process of creating music based on movement and development.

Abstract

Karya Kumat merupakan komposisi kreasi baru yang dikemas dengan tetap bernuansa tradisi. Karya ini adalah interpretasi dari mekanisme gangguan mental bipolar yang disusun melalui formulasi musikal yang sesuai dengan mekanisme bipolar. Karya ini focus ke dua unsur pembangun yaitu formulasi musikal serta nuansa musikal, formulasi musikal bersifat kongkret dan nuansa musikal bersifat berubah-ubah sesuai pengalaman musikal pendengar. karya Kumat menggunakan gamelan Jegog modifikasi sebagai media ungkap. Letak modifikasi terdapat pada instrumen barangan, kantil, suwir yang dijadikan satu tungguh, dengan ditambah dua instrumen lain sebagai pembaha melody yaitu kuntung danundir. Proses penciptaan karya ini dilakukan dengan empat tahapan yaitu rangsang awal yang dipadukan dengan konsep Alma M. Hawkins dalam buku Creating Trough Dance yang terdiri dari eksplorasi, improvisasi, pembentukan.Karya ini diwujudkan dalam bentuk tabuh kreasi yang masih berpijak pada ranah tradisi, pembaharuan yang terdapat pada karya ini terletak pada formulasi musik yang mengadopsi ilmu matematika persegi ajaib sebagai dasar pembentukan karya.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic is a viral pandemic originating from China that entered and began to spread to Indonesia in 2019, this virus has long spread and has claimed many victims as many as 1,566 died in the latest data on August 23, 2021. The role of the government in handling cases Covid-19 is said to be good, with the rules for the use of masks, PSBB, PPKM, vaccinations etc., it is quite helpful and prevents the transmission of this virus. In the economic field, the government is also sufficient to provide great assistance to the impact of this pandemic, as for the assistance provided there is PKH (Programme Family Hope), BPNT (Non-Cash Food Assistance), BST (Cash Social Assistance) and then there is a program from the Banyumas district government, namely JPS (Social Safety Net), since the covid-19 pandemic, many people have been affected, especially in Sokanegara village, Purwokerto. East, where most of the people make a living as traders, entrepreneurs, and labourers, many are experience bankruptcy in their daily lives, the imbalance between increasing economic needs and drastically reduced income, in this case the government is trying to provide social assistance by increasing the quota for aid recipients, and the initiative from the local Rt and Rw to provide sharing programs to those who do not receive and experiencing the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. This research method was carried out to examine how residents did welfare for their neighbors who were affected and who did not receive this assistance, the method used was a qualitative method by conducting family interviews.

Abstract

To accelerate the handling of the spread of Covid-19 in Indonesia. Vaccination in Indonesia has begun to be marked by President Jokowi as the recipient of the first dose of vaccine, which after two weeks was followed by a second dose of vaccination. Proof as a person who has taken the Covid-19 vaccine is the receipt of the vaccination certificate. Ideally, the implementation of vaccination consists of providing adequate facilities and providing the widest possible vaccination for free, as well as opening access to vaccination services, for example through clinics that have not been used optimally. In this case, a more in-depth study is needed to determine the extent to which the obligation to show vaccination certificates in public spaces and the legal problems that arise are important. The vaccine certificate requirement policy will begin trials on August 10-16, 2021 in four cities, including: Jakarta, Bandung, Surabaya, and Semarang. The formulation of the problem in this research will focus on what the impact is felt by the community, what are the problems and regulations that explain the policies issued, regarding Indonesia, what actions are taken to implement vaccine certificates as a requirement for access to public spaces, which countries have implemented policies related to this and what is the view of Islamic law regarding this policy. The method used in this study uses a qualitative approach and also Robert N. Entman's framing analysis using the online media that the researchers chose in this study, KOMPAS.com, with news uploaded to the media's online news portal. The results obtained from this study indicate that the implementation of the policy on vaccine certificate requirements in the public sphere is considered to violate the principles of justice and discrimination. Judging from the uneven distribution of vaccines in various regions and the difficulty of access and reach of the Covid-19 vaccine.

Abstract

This article aims to raise public awareness in maintaining a clean environment. Environmental cleanliness also plays a very important role in efforts to eradicate Covid-19, because without cleanliness and attention to the environment, this pandemic will never end. This community service-based research was conducted in Blang Krueng Village, Kec. Baitussalam, Aceh Besar uses a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach. The results of the study show that the awareness of the local community to maintain cleanliness and environmental sustainability still needs to be improved, especially related to the processing of waste and household waste.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has forced people to reduce their activities outside the home. This has hampered many community activities, including buying and selling transactions and other work. This creates new problems in the form of economic difficulties experienced by the community. This study aims to determine how big the impact of Covid-10 on the economic aspects of the Lamgugo village community. This research was conducted using quantitative descriptive methods, data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires and qualitative descriptive data analysis techniques. Through this research, it was found that as many as 65% of the entire Lamgugo village community experienced economic difficulties in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic.
