Abstract

This study aims determine the influence of the Pancasila student profile strengthening project on student’s creativity. The research uses Ex post facto quantitative method with regression analysis. The population and sample in this study are students of SD N 2 Sentolo With a sample of 22 students in class V determined using the  purposive sampling technique. Data collection was taken through questionnaires and documentation. The collected data were analyzed using a simple linear regression test. The results of this study show that there is a positive and significant influence between the project to strengthen the Pancasila student profile on the creativity of students at SD N 2 Sentolo (p<0.05) with a determination coefficient of 0.419. This can be proven by a simple linear regression equation: Y= 77.644+0.142X stated that H1 is accepted H0 rejected. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the Pancasila student profile strengthening project on the creativity.

Abstract

This study aimed to improve children's fine motor skills through task-based learning in scissor-cutting activities at TK Pertiwi 1 Dukuhwaluh, Kembaran District, using a Classroom Action Research approach with observational data collection. The participants were 15 children aged 5-6 years in Group B, and the data were analyzed quantitatively. In the pre-cycle, 13% of children (2 students) had not yet developed the skills, 73% (11 students) were beginning to develop, 7% (1 student) were developing as expected, and 7% (1 student) had very well-developed skills. By Cycle 1, no children remained in the undeveloped category, while the beginning to develop group maintained 73% (11 students) with some individual changes, and both the developing as expected and very well-developed groups increased to 13% (2 students each). In Cycle 2, all children showed progress, with no students in the beginning stage, 13% (2 students) maintaining expected development, and a significant 87% (13 students) achieving very well-developed status. The study exceeded its 80% success target, with 87% of children reaching the highest skill level, demonstrating that the task-based cutting activities effectively enhanced fine motor skills in Group B children at TK Pertiwi 1 Dukuhwaluh.

Abstract

Lack of understanding of parents in the importance of balanced nutrition and its impact on children's growth and development is a problem that has emerged and been found today. This study aims to provide access for parents to be involved in programs provided by schools. The method in this study uses descriptive qualitative analysis research. With this method, in-depth analysis is possible to explore information through observation, interviews, and documentation. The analysis shows that the Nutrition Week Program which is carried out routinely every Wednesday is designed with thorough preparation and involves parents in providing food to strengthen the relationship between schools and parents and become a means of education for parents about the importance of balanced nutrition for early childhood. The collaboration between teachers and parents in implementing the Nutrition Week Program to meet children's nutritional needs is a positive synergy to meet the balanced nutritional needs of early childhood. With the Nutrition Week Program, in addition to having an impact on parents, it also helps children grow and develop optimally according to their age and have a good quality of life as provisions in the future. This study is the basis for further research related to the effectiveness of the same program in the long term. In addition, this study is expected to provide an overview of how to implement collaboration between teachers and parents in meeting children's nutritional intake for optimal growth and development.

Abstract

Outbound activities offer an experiential and play-based approach to physical learning that supports the development of gross motor skills in early childhood. This study aims to explore how outbound activities contribute to the physical, social, and emotional growth of children aged 5–6 years at TK ABA Bayen. Using a narrative inquiry approach, the research captures the lived experiences of children, teachers, and parents during the outbound program involving activities such as rope bridge walking, throwing the glass, fits hands and feet, relaying water and crossing suspension bridge. Data were collected through observations, reflective journals, and interviews, and analyzed thematically to reveal patterns of growth and meaning-making. The findings indicate that outbound activities foster noticeable improvements in children’s balance, strength, coordination, and overall confidence in movement. Beyond physical gains, the narratives also highlight enhancements in self-confidence, social-emotional and social interaction. The study concludes that outbound activities, when intentionally designed and facilitated, serve as a powerful medium for holistic development in early childhood. It is recommended that early childhood education institutions integrate outbound activities into the learning environment to support children's physical and psychosocial growth through embodied, meaningful experiences.

Abstract

This study aimed to explore the role of parents in developing children's self-help skills and how different parenting styles affect their physical motor development. This research used a library research method to explore the role of parents in self-help skills and their impact on children's physical motor development. Self-help skills are a crucial aspect of the physical motor development of early childhood, encompassing activities such as eating, dressing, using household tools, and using the toilet, which require fine and gross motor coordination. Parents play a crucial role in developing these skills through different parenting styles: permissive, authoritarian, and democratic. Parents play a crucial role by modeling usage and guiding children in daily practices, thereby enhancing their comfort and responsibility in maintaining personal hygiene. Active parental involvement is essential for helping children develop self-help skills and achieve optimal physical motor development. Appropriate parenting styles and consistent guidance lay a strong foundation for children to become independent, confident, and capable individuals, effectively navigating life's challenges.
