Abstract

Abstract Rao Bahadur MC. Mailai Chinnathambi Pillai Raja (17th June 1883 – 20th August 1943), popularly known as Raja, was a Scheduled Caste politician and social activist from Tamil Nadu. Even before Ambedkar, he worked for the welfare and progress of Scheduled Caste (SC) people all over India. In the list of activists who have worked for the welfare of the grassroots and to establish equality, M.C. Rajah has the most significant role of in India. It is a matter for everyone to ponder whether is fulfilled. This study is to describe information about M.C Rajah who gave ideas like Ambedkar's contribution to social progress.

Abstract

The rapid development of Islamic banking in Indonesia, which must be balanced with contributions to economic growth, is the background for writing this article. The analysis in this article uses the Ordinary Least Square (OLS) method to find out how much influence Islamic banking has on economic growth as represented by the Gross Domestic Product. The financial sector plays an important role in driving a country's economic growth. This study aims to analyze the causal relationship between Islamic banking on Indonesia's economic growth, analyze the response of Indonesia's economic growth when shocks occur in Islamic banking variables, and determine the contribution of Islamic banking variables to Indonesia's economic growth. Total deposits, total credit/total financing, and total assets as a variable that represents banking. GDP (Gross Domestic Product) as a variable that represents economic growth. Using the Cointegration and Granger Causality methods, the results show that in general conventional and Islamic banking have an effect on economic growth in Indonesia.

Abstract

This article discusses how to understand how the manager of the Zakat Charity Agency (BAZ) interprets accountability in managing zakat, infaq, and shadaqah (ZIS). Accountability in the management of zakat, infaq and shadaqah (ZIS) is needed to build the trust of related parties, such as muzakki, mustahiq, the government and society as a whole. In creating a good zakat governance system, it has the characteristics that there must be transparency and accountability in zakat management, which includes indak and alms management. As a manager of community funds that relies on donors from the community, transparency and accountability in the management of zakat, infaq and shadaqah are the main concerns for the Zakat Charity Agency (BAZ)

Abstract

This study aims to find out and analyze the significant differences between the performance of conventional banks and Islamic banks and to find out and analyze which banking performance is better between Islamic and conventional banking. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method using secondary data. From the results of the study there is a significant difference between conventional banking and Islamic banking such as the absence of interest in Islamic banking considering that interest is forbidden in Islamic law as usury. Furthermore, in terms of risk in conventional credit, the customer still has to pay the full loan and interest as previously agreed. Abstract

In the aspect of Islamic banking, mudharabah contracts are a type of contract that is quite common in various types of products and programs offered by Islamic banks. One of the Islamic bank products that has operational provisions using a mudharabah contract is financing or the process of borrowing capital.One of the highlights is financing using a mudharabah contract. Mudharabah itself can be interpreted as a cooperation contract between two parties in which the first party provides all the funds, while the second party acts as the manager of the funds and profits are shared between them according to the agreement while losses are only borne by the owner of the funds.

Abstract

The development of sharia products is currently happening in Indonesia, especially in Islamic financial institutions, various kinds of products and contracts are applied in carrying out their business activities, one of the products is the rahn contract in sharia pawn shops. Basically, sharia-based products have special characteristics such as, not using interest in any form because it can cause usury, using money as a medium of exchange not as a traded commodity, and doing business to get rewards for the services performed. Although the pillars and conditions of the rahn contract have been carried out in accordance with sharia, there are still some things that must be clarified to get the correct practice in sharia theory. This study aims to find out how to apply rahn contracts to sharia pawnshops.

Abstract

This study focuses on how to apply mudharabah financing accounting based on PSAK No. 105 contained in Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) Lhokseumawe. The purpose of the results of this study is to find out how to apply accounting for mudharabah financing based on PSAK No. 105. The research method used is a qualitative method approach. The results of this study are that at Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) Lhokseumawe has implemented mudharabah financing accounting based on PSAK No. 105 so that the hope that can be reviewed is that Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) Lhokseumawe can improve HR performance again in terms of service and preparation of reports contained in Bank BSI Lhokseumawe in order to maintain public trust.

Abstract

Public welfare is the goal of the Islamic financial system. People who are impoverished or experiencing poverty do not mean that they are completely lazy. However, they are people who have not had access to a better life. The Islamic financial system is the most appropriate system for overcoming poverty in Indonesia. It doesn't only need a Muslim community, but this Islamic financial system can also be used by non-Muslim communities throughout Indonesia or the world. Because the Islamic financial system does not aim to collect as much wealth as possible. But in this system we are taught how a better life can be achieved together.

Abstract

Presently we are invading in a new period of modernisms i.e., Internet of Things (IoT). By using the IoT supervising solar energy can greatly enhance the performance, monitoring of the plant. It is a technique to keep track of the dust assembled on the solar panels to induce the maximum power for active utilization. The amount of output power of the solar panels depends on the radiation hit to the solar cell. All the panels are attached and the sensors are precisely connected to the central controller which supervise the panels and loads. Thus, user can view the current, voltage and sunlight.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of social science in character education based on the Pancasila Student Profile (Profil Pelajar Pancasila). In accordance with the demands of the times and developments in people's lives including changes in the education curriculum, social studies learning must be returned in accordance with its latest conceptual framework which emphasizes interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary, with contextual and transformative, active and participatory learning in the perspective of social values. using descriptive qualitative research methods with data collection carried out by literature study, observation, document analysis, and interviews. The results of the study show that in the social studies learning process, efforts should be made to include Pancasila values which are also currently in the context of the Merdeka curriculum already summarized in the Pancasila Student Profile which consists of dimensions of faith and piety to God Almighty and noble character, Global diversity, mutual cooperation, independent, creative, and able to reason critically. This is useful for the formation of student personality as a provision for living in society both as citizens and global citizens.
