Abstract

This research aims to assess the clove growing revenue and development plan in Lambandia District, East Kolaka Regency. This research was conducted in Mokupa Village and Penanggootu Village, Lambandia District, East Kolaka Regency, from 18 to 25 August 2021. The population in this study was 81 people. The sample was taken using simple random sampling of as many as 45 people. The analytical method used is descriptive, income, SWOT. The results showed that the average income of clove farmers from the income, the average production cost is reduced by IDR26.307.864/farmer. The clove farming development strategy is at the coordinates point of quadrant 1, namely the aggressive strategy or SO strategy. This shows that the state of the clove farming development strategy shows a very favorable situation for the development of clove farming in Lambandia District, East Kolaka Regency, which has strengths and opportunities that are unified and mutually supportive, using strength factors to take advantage of existing opportunities. So that a strategy can be produced that can be carried out in the development of clove farming, namely the SO strategy consisted of improving product quality, increasing production, expanding the planting area. ST strategy consists of minimizing expenses, increasing skills and insight into the technology used in farming. The WO strategy consists of creating a community or joining an existing community to increase information, insight, and knowledge in farming, setting aside income to be used as capital for developing clove farming. The WT strategy consists of adding other short-term farms.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the financial aspects and the sensitivity of the Trigona sp. honey bee cultivation business in the Landono District, South Konawe Regency. This research was conducted from September 2021 to March 2022 using the case study method in the Madu Mas forest farmer group, with eight people used as informants. Research variables include informant identity and business feasibility analysis. The data analysis used is a quantitative analysis using investment assessment criteria including NPV, Net B/C, IRR, Payback Period, and sensitivity analysis. The results showed that the financial aspect obtained an NPV value of IDR40,139,762, with a discount factor of 14%, Net B/C of 1.94, an IRR value of 28.84%, and a Payback Period of 3 years four months so that the honey bee cultivation business declared financially viable. Based on the sensitivity analysis, the business is still feasible to run despite a 25% decrease in honey production and a 35% increase in operating costs. However, if there is a decrease in honey production by 25% and an increase in operational costs by 35% simultaneously, then the honey bee cultivation business is not feasible.

Abstract

Micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) are one of the business fields that have an essential role in economic growth in Indonesia. The part of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) is also often associated with the government's efforts to reduce poverty and equalize income. Still, the resilience of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia is being tested again in the face of economic impacts due to the spread of the COVID-19 virus. This study aims to determine the effect of the COVID-19 pandemic on MSMEs in the Kambu District and find out the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats to micro, small and medium enterprises in Kambu District and strategies for SMEs to be able to maintain their business during the COVID-19 pandemic. The research was conducted from October-September 2021 in Kambu District. The population in this study is micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Kambu District, totalling 81 units who are engaged in the culinary business, using the cluster random sampling technique method, which is a random sampling that is not individual, but small unit groups, which takes 20% of the entire population to make a sample so that 16 people are obtained as research samples. Data analysis used SWOT analysis using IFAS (Internal Factor Analysis Strategic) and EFAS (External Factor Analysis Strategy) matrices.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the income generated by the husband is deemed insufficient to meet household needs. Hence, women from poor households work to earn sufficient income for the household economy. Mobile vegetable traders on the family economy during the covid-19 pandemic in Masagena Village, Konda District, South Konawe Regency. The research area's determination was performed purposively considering that Masagena village is an area for mobile vegetable traders. The number of respondents was 26 female itinerant vegetable traders. Data analysis used income analysis, and the income contribution was a percentage. The average monthly income of female vegetable traders is IDR13,285,000, with a total monthly cost of IDR10.845.537 and monthly revenue of IDR2.436.463. In contrast, the husband's income from female vegetable traders is IDR1,933,269, with a total monthly cost of IDR564.473 and a monthly income of IDR1.375.694. The income contribution of women travelling vegetable traders during the covid 19 pandemic is 63.91%. The husband's contribution is 36.09%.

Abstract

The problem faced by farmer patchouli in the countryside regarding the lack of capital for farming. Farmer patchouli resolved the problem by choosing a partner with the owner of capital because the process is no capital loan complicated and no use bound contract. Study this aim for knowing pattern partnership and the attachment among capital owner and farmer partner patchouli and knowing income farmer partner and income owner of capital in village Karya Bhakti districts West Kulisusu District North Buton. Karya Bhakti village is the wrong centre for farming patchouli. They were chosen in August-September 2021 as the location for research. The study used 27 respondents as the sample. The research variables in this study are the respondents' age, education, farm experience and family dependents—the partnership pattern between the owner of the capital and the farmer. Attachment of capital owner to patchouli farmer is trust, networks and norms. Technical data retrieval is done by observation, interview and summarizes the answer. Analysis data used descriptive analysis and qualitative descriptive analysis. Partnership systems applied by capital owners with farmer partners in village Karya Bhakti tend to follow a pattern of cooperation in operational agribusiness (KOA). Owners of capital and farmers have rights and obligations. The obligation and right of the capital owner are to provide capital loans and receive farmer crops. The farmer's obligations are to receive capital loans and provide land and crops to the owner capital. The entanglement is influenced by the existence of social capital, which consists of trust, network, and norms so that the partnership can continue. Partnership by owner capital and farmer is based on mutual trust.
