Abstract

Despite the usage of learning media, science learning outcomes remain low. The kids' learning outcomes, which are still below the KKM, demonstrate this fact. Therefore, the goal of this study is to enhance class IV students' scientific learning outcomes by using picture guessing games. In order to improve science learning outcomes relating the properties of light in class IV at SD 1 Sungai Pedada Kec. Tulung Selapan Kab. OKI Semester I for the 2023-2024 academic year, the researcher intends to conduct research in class IV at SD 1 Sungai Pedada by adopting an image guessing game. This study, which encompasses two cycles of classroom action research, use observation techniques to measure increases in teacher and student engagement, exams to measure increases in student learning outcomes, and the gathering of research-related data. Thirteen male and twelve female fourth-graders made up the research subjects. Complete learning outcomes of 71,20 in cycle I and 86,48 in cycle II could be obtained based on the data analysis results; there was a 15.28% difference in the average interval score percent. There was a 5,08% rise based on the pre-cycle comparison of cycles I and II. It has been determined that using the picture guessing game in science classes in class IV SD 1 Sungai Pedada can enhance student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low science learning outcomes of class V students at SD Negeri 6 Palembang. The aim of this research is to improve the science learning outcomes of fifth grade students at SD Negeri 6 Palembang on the circulatory system material. The learning method that researchers used was the experimental method. This type of research is class action. (PTK) This is carried out in 2 cycles through 4 stages, namely: 1) planning, 2) implementation, 3) Observation, 4) Reflection. The methods used in collecting data are observation, documentation and tests. The research results showed that learning outcomes using the experimental method from cycle I to cycle II experienced a significant increase. The observation results show that the average value in the pre-cycle, that's not what it's about, was 61.67, increasing in cycle 1 to 76.32 in the active category, then in cycle 2 it increased to an average of 87.79, so that from cycle I and cycle II 2 there was an increase of 73. .53%. This shows that the use of experimental methods is able to improve student learning outcomes in science subjects on the subject of the circulatory system.

Abstract

The study was conducted using an experimental method with a quantitative approach. This study has two variables, namely variable X learning styles and family environment and variable Y learning outcomes in science subjects. The population in this study were all fourth grade classes totaling 75 students, and the sample was class IV.A as a class without treatment and IV.B as a class with treatment so that the total sample was 50 students. Researchers conducted validation on lecturers and teachers concerned, the results were tested on respondents. Researchers continued the reliability test to determine whether the questions were reliable or not. The data analysis applied is normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis testing. The result of the significance value (2-tailed) is 0.000. This shows that the significance value is smaller than the specified significance level of 0.05. Therefore, the data obtained is considered significant. Furthermore, the calculated t value is 7.090. Compare it with the t table value with a degree of freedom (df) of 48 and a significance level of 0.05. It is found that the t table value is 1.677. In conclusion, the calculated t value obtained is much greater than the t table value with the specified significance level. This indicates that there is a significant difference between the observed data and the proposed hypothesis. So it can be concluded that the t-count value (7.090) is greater than the t-table value (1.677), so the t-count value is greater than the t-table value (1.677).

Abstract

A study was conducted by researchers at SD Negeri 35 Palembang. The purpose of this study was to examine the various factors that cause students' lack of interest in learning in grade IV in mathematics. The researcher utilized a qualitative research method using a case study approach. Data collection was done through triangulation and inductive analysis, and emphasis on meaning rather than generalization in qualitative research results. Case study refers to a series of research activities carried out in a structured, detailed, and thorough manner regarding a program, event, or activity. The purpose of this case study is to understand in depth about it, both from the perspective of individuals, groups, institutions, and organizations. Generally, the case chosen is an ongoing event in real life, not something that has happened in the past. The process of collecting information is carried out through direct observation and interaction through interviews. Based on observations, interviews, and notes taken by the researcher, it was concluded that there were about five students in one class who received low scores and lacked interest in learning mathematics. Based on information found by researchers during observations and interviews, it can be concluded that there are several reasons why grade IV students' interest in learning mathematics at SD Negeri 35 Palembang is low. First, students do not have enough rest time. Second, students lack motivation to learn. Third, students do not show high interest in math. Fourth, students have to deal with two activities at once, namely school and boarding school. Finally, there is the influence of the post-Covid-19 situation or online learning.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the birth and development of new dynasties in the regions of the Spanish Maghrib and Iran after the collapse of major powers such as the Umayyad Caliphate in Spain and the Abbasid Caliphate in Iran. Employing a literature research approach, this study traces the background of the emergence, expansion processes, consolidation of power, as well as the contributions of these dynasties to the intellectual and cultural development in the regions they ruled. In the Spanish Maghrib, the Almoravid and Almohad Dynasties emerged as new powers after the fall of the Umayyad Caliphate. Both dynasties succeeded in uniting the regions of Spain and the Maghrib, albeit with different methods and ideologies. Meanwhile, in Iran, the Ilkhanid, Jalayirid, Timurid, and Safavid Dynasties rose after the collapse of the Abbasid Caliphate, each exerting significant influence and contributions to the political, cultural, artistic, and scientific development. The research findings indicate that the birth and development of these new dynasties not only brought about political changes but also contributed significantly to intellectual and cultural advancements in both regions. The periods under their rule are known as golden ages in the fields of art, architecture, literature, mathematics, astronomy, philosophy, and other sciences. These dynasties fostered the exchange of ideas among various ethnic and religious groups and created a conducive environment for the growth of knowledge and creativity. Overall, this study highlights the importance of the new dynasties in the dynamics of history and civilization, as well as their contributions in shaping new political landscapes and catalyzing the growth of rich knowledge, art, and culture.
