Abstract

Environmental conditions greatly influence the quality of life of humans and other living creatures, so it is necessary to pay attention to strong and consistent environmental protection and management conditions by all stakeholders. Various principles are used in environmental protection and management. One of these principles is culture and local wisdom. Local wisdom is noble values ??that apply in community life to, among other things, protect and manage the environment sustainably. Protection and management of the environment must also pay attention to the noble values ??that apply in the community's life system. One of the government's efforts to improve the community's economy is through strengthening cooperatives and increasing the competency of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs). Therefore, cooperatives as the mainstay of the Indonesian economy should be encouraged to continue to modernize so that they can have a maximum positive impact on people's lives.

Abstract

The environmental conditions significantly influence the quality of life for humans and other living beings, thus requiring attention to robust and consistent environmental protection and management conditions by all stakeholders. Various principles are utilized in environmental protection and management, and one of these principles is culture and local wisdom. Local wisdom comprises noble values applied in the community's way of life, including, among other things, sustainable protection and management of the environment. Protection and management of the environment must also consider the noble values prevailing in the community's way of life. The occurrence of a water crisis resulting from the reduction of water sources and the weakened conditions of living organisms is due to the insufficient attention to the rules of local wisdom. Various efforts have been made for soil and water conservation, both by the government and environmentalists. The management of water and soil resources is not only the responsibility of the government outlined in various written policies but also the responsibility of the local community evident in the knowledge and experience of the community in carrying out various water and soil management activities.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the fundamental aim of carrying out a careful analysis of the classification of children with autism in the elementary school environment. Using the case study method, the research approach includes consideration of various aspects, including cognitive characteristics, behavior and social interactions. Data was collected through observations, interviews with teachers, as well as examination of related documents, providing a strong basis for in-depth analysis. With a focus on a deeper understanding of the varied characteristics of children with autism at the elementary school level, the main aim of the research was to classify these children based on their cognitive abilities, behavior and level of social interaction. It is hoped that the results of this research can be used as a basis for designing educational programs that are more appropriate to the individual needs of each autistic child. The benefits are not only limited to improving learning effectiveness, but also include supporting social integration in the elementary school environment. This research involved subjects of children who had autism and attended elementary school. Study participants included children with varying cognitive characteristics, behavior, and levels of social interaction. The results highlight significant variation in the characteristics of children with autism in elementary school, allowing classification based on their cognitive abilities, behavior and level of social interaction. Some children show a positive response to certain learning methods, while others require a more individualistic approach. It is hoped that the classification of research results will provide a solid basis for improving educational programs, increasing learning effectiveness, and supporting the social integration of children with autism in the elementary school environment.

Abstract

As social beings humans have a main need, namely communication, basically communication is a process, and the process must have an obstacle. Like the barriers experienced by deaf children, they experience barriers in their hearing as a result of which deaf people have difficulty speaking so that deaf children are not or less able to communicate verbally. Deaf children maximize their sense of sight as a way to complete the lack of hearing. The purpose and benefits of this study are to determine communication skills in deaf children, know how to socialize deaf children, and find out what are the obstacles in communicating deaf children. This study also aims to test whether there is an interaction between two independent variables that affect verbal and nonverbal communication skills in deaf children.deaf people often have communication problems as in students at SLB B-C Wijaya Kusumah, they still have difficulty in communicating even though generally deaf people use sign language alternatives. The results of our research found that the communication skills of deaf children in SLB B-C Wijaya Kusumah are still very low, this was obtained from the results of the researcher's interview with the class teacher concerned. There are only two children out of nine children who have comprehension in communicating using sign language, the rest still need special guidance in order to maximize their sense of sight as a way to perfect communication.
