Abstract

The study aims to investigate the influence of peer groups on the emotional maturity of adolescents in the eighth grade MTs Al-Ikhlasiyah Sei Buluh in the 2020/2021 school year. An unripe emotional condition in adolescents can cause them to be vulnerable to a group of peers in performing certain actions, although not all of them have a positive impact on themselves or others. The research method used is quantitative descriptive with a quantitational approach that emphasizes the analysis of numerical data. The primary data was obtained through the filling of the elevator by the pupils of the eighth grade MTs Al-Ikhlasiyah Sei Ten Years of Education 2020/2021, consisting of 123 students. The sampling technique was performed randomly, with 30 students as samples of research. The results of simple linear regression analysis showed a significant influence between peer groups (X) on adolescent emotional maturity (Y) with a F significance count of 0.055 and a significance level of 0.016 < 0.05. Therefore, it can be concluded that the regression model can be used to predict the participation variable, suggesting that peer groups have an influence on adolescent emotional maturity in Al-Ikhlasiyah Sei Buluh T.A 2020/2021.

Abstract

This research aims to improve learning outcomes for Natural Sciences (Science) in class IV of SD Negeri 020273 North Binjai. The low student learning outcomes in Natural Sciences (Science) subjects led to this research being carried out. In the classroom, this research uses problem-based learning (PBL) strategies. The research subjects were fifteen fourth grade students at SD Negeri 020273 North Binjai. The purpose of this research is to provide the results of my use of image media and Problem Based Learning (PBL) methodology to study the diversity of animals that inhabit my area. After giving students a five-question comprehension test, researchers gathered information about their learning goals. Based on the research results, an average of 47% of students in cycle I and 80% of students in cycle II met the KKM. To improve the learning outcomes of class IV Natural Sciences (IPA) students which include the diversity of living creatures around me, this learning completeness value was created. Improving student learning outcomes is the goal of initiatives that apply the problem-based learning (PBL) paradigm. Because scientific research is taught through lectures, researchers often choose this approach.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of caffeine content ranging from 94-150 mg in espresso on the cardiovascular endurance of volleyball players. The research employed a quantitative approach, specifically a quasi-experimental method with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The population for this study comprised 14 members of the volleyball team in Dusun Kalangbangi Lor A. The sampling technique involved screening, and data analysis was conducted using the paired sample T-test, preceded by the Shapiro-Wilk test for normality and the test of homogeneity of variances for homogeneity testing. The research findings revealed that the calculated t-value (t-statistic) was greater than the critical t-value (t-table), specifically 5.612 > 2.365, indicating the acceptance of the alternative hypothesis (Ha) and the rejection of the null hypothesis (Ho). Consequently, the conclusions drawn from the study are as follows: (1) There is an impact of caffeine when consumed in sufficient amounts. (2) Based on linear regression analysis, the R-Square value was found to be 0.891. This implies that the impact of consuming caffeine with a content of 94-150 mg in the short term on cardiovascular endurance is 89.1%, with the remaining 10.1% influenced by other factors. Therefore, consuming 94-150 mg of caffeine 30-60 minutes before undergoing a multistage fitness test can have a positive influence on cardiovascular endurance.
