Abstract

Learning media is one of the supporting factors in the success of the teaching and learning process. This research started from the problem that there are 75% of teachers who are not proficient in making and using learning media based on information and communication technology. The purpose of this study is to improve the ability of teachers in making information technology-based learning media through IHT. This type of research is school action research. The research subjects were 12 teachers at SD Negeri Rowosari 01 Semarang City. Data collection techniques used interviews, observations, questionnaires, and documentation studies. The data analysis technique in this research is comparative descriptive. This study describes whether IHT activities with an andragogy approach can improve teacher skills in making ICT-based learning media. The results of the pre-test were compared with the results of the post-test and product scores to see an increase in the teacher's ability. Data validation uses technical triangulation and source triangulation. The results of this study indicate that: 1) The implementation of in-house training with an andragogy approach has succeeded in increasing the ability of teachers to create learning media. The mean baseline score increased from 60.8 to 85.4. Indicators of success can be met with the results of 11 teachers who achieved a completeness score of 76. 2) IHT steps that can improve teacher abilities are needs analysis with the Principal and participants, formulation of goals and objectives, program development, preparation of action plans, program implementation preceded with participant decision making, observation, and reflection.

Abstract

Group learning activities can help spur active learning. Teaching through small group cooperative activities will make it possible to promote active learning activities in a special way. What students discuss with their friends and what students teach their friends allow them to gain understanding and mastery of the subject matter. This research is based on the problem: How is the effect of STAD cooperative learning on the Sacrament of Penance material on students' learning motivation? How is the improvement of student learning outcomes in the Sacrament of Penance material with the implementation of the STAD cooperative learning model? While the purpose of this study was to determine the increase in students' motivation and learning outcomes in the Sacrament of Penance with the implementation of STAD cooperative learning. This study used two cycles of classroom action research, each cycle consisting of four stages, namely: design, activity and observation, reflection, and revision. The target of this research is grade VIII C students in the second semester of the 2021/2022 academic year. The data obtained are in the form of observation sheets and the results of teaching and learning activities. From the results of the analysis with the implementation of the STAD cooperative learning model, it was found that the motivation of learning activities and student learning outcomes increased from cycle I to cycle II, student activity increased from 61%, 77%, 80%, and 86% learning outcomes increased classical completeness 50% to 88% and the value of the first cycle of 79.25 increased in the second cycle to 86.50%. The conclusion of this study is that STAD cooperative learning can have a positive effect on motivation and learning outcomes of VIII C students, and this learning model can be used as an alternative learning for Budi Pekerti Catholic Religious Education.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the magnitude of the increase in the learning ability to count in class II students of SD Negeri Kemijen 02 semester 1 of the 2021/2022 academic year. After being taught to count multiplication using the Jarimatics method. The background of this researcher is the lack of optimal ability to calculate students' multiplication. Of the 28 students, only 6 students or 21.42% completed. The remaining 22 people or 78.58% have not been completed. The average value is 54.00 on a scale of 100. The reason is that multiplication is a very broad material. In addition, the method used by the teacher is still not optimal. Another reason is that the method used by the teacher is not quite right. This research is a class action research (CAR), which is carried out in cycles. This research was conducted in class II of SD Negeri Kemijen 02 Semester 1 Academic Year 2021/2022. Cycle 1 was held on September 20, 2022, while cycle 2 was on October 13, 2022. Research has proven that the Jarimatika method can improve the ability to calculate multiplication. There was an increase in the score of 71.07 and in cycle 2 it became 85.00 which means there was an increase of 13.93 or an increase of 49.75%.

Abstract

The problem in this research is the incomplete preparation of teachers in teaching. Every teacher is required to make learning plans such as lesson plans, semester programs, annual programs, syllabus and other learning tools. From the results of the assessment of academic supervision in the early stages of 10 teachers at SD Sembungharjo 02, the following data were obtained: 1 teacher (10%) with good grades, 4 teachers (40%) with sufficient scores and 5 people (50%). This research design uses a classroom action research approach (School Action Research). The population in this study were all teachers of SDN Sembungharjo 02 in 2021/2022. The sample in this study used a saturated sample, that is, the sample includes the entire research population. The data analysis in this study included 2 cycles, each cycle consisting of 4 stages, namely: (1) the planning stage of the action program, (2) the implementation of the action program, (3) the observation of the program, (4) reflection. The results of this study indicate that, (1) In the pre-cycle the average value of teachers in academic supervision is 59.4 which means that teachers' academic scores are still very low; (2) in the first cycle the average academic supervision score was 71.1, which means that in the first cycle there was an increase in the teacher's academic supervision results from the pre-cycle supervision results; (3) in the second cycle, the average academic supervision score was 85.2, which means that most of the teachers had planned their learning to be better. With an average of 85.2, it has met the predetermined research standard of 70%, so there is no need to proceed to cycle 3. Based on these results, it can be concluded that regular academic supervision can improve teacher performance at Sembungharjo 02 Elementary School in the first semester of the 2021/2022 academic year. Suggestions in this study are administrative supervision is absolutely necessary for school progress and better learning outcomes.

Abstract

The act of making questions as an assessment instrument cannot be carried out arbitrarily, to improve the quality of teachers in making questions, it is necessary to know about making tests. However, it was found that there were many written test questions for the semester that the teachers of SDN Gisikdrono 03 Semarang City did not comply with the rules of writing questions. Of the 18 teachers there are only 5 teachers or 28% of teachers who are able to make written test questions according to the rules. Written test items that are not correct from the point of view of the rules of writing questions must be immediately corrected or replaced with new items. This of course requires the role of the principal by carrying out academic supervision activities that can be carried out with group techniques through collaborative supervision methods for teachers. This study is intended to answer the problem of whether the implementation of supervision with a collaborative approach can improve the ability of teachers in preparing semester test questions at SDN Gisikdrono 03 Semarang City for the 2021/2022 academic year? These problems are discussed through school action research which is carried out through 2 cycles with each cycle the stages are planning, action, observation and reflection. The results show that supervision with a collaborative approach can improve the ability of teachers in preparing semester test questions at SDN Gisikdrono 03 Semarang City for the 2021/2022 academic year. Then the implementation of supervision with a collaborative approach can improve the ability of teachers in preparing semester test questions at SDN Gisikdrono 03 Semarang City in the 2021/2022 academic year, this can be seen from the increase in the results of teacher professionalism in classroom administration management per cycle where in the first cycle there are 12 teachers or 66% and in the second cycle there were 17 teachers or 94%. These results indicate that these results are in line with expectations. An increase also occurred in teacher activities in participating in mini workshops where in the first cycle there were 11 teachers or 61% and in the second cycle there were 16 teachers or 89%. The increase in the implementation of collaborative supervision is an effective way for school principals to improve the ability of teachers to develop learning tools.

Abstract

The value of learning outcomes in thematic learning in class IV of SD Negeri Bandarharjo 01 Semarang City based on the results of several student daily tests is still lacking. The results of this study can be seen from the results of the average score of each student on four daily tests, namely 59.8, where the average student lacks the sub-theme of the beauty of the unity and integrity of my country, the method used in the learning material is not appropriate for the use of inappropriate media or even not using the media at all, teacher motivation towards student learning is still lacking, and traditional learning also makes the value of learning completeness so far still far from ideal. Learning media with puzzle media carried out in thematic learning sub-theme of the beauty of the unity and integrity of my country in class IV SD Negeri Bandarharjo 01 Semarang City is very helpful in increasing understanding, presenting data in an interesting and reliable manner, making it easier to interpret data and obtain the necessary information. This study is intended to answer the problem, namely whether the strategy of giving questions and getting answers combined with puzzle media can improve learning outcomes for the sub-theme "The Beauty of Unity and Unity of My Country" in class IV SDN Bandarharjo 01 Semarang City in the 2021/2022 Academic Year? These problems are discussed through classroom action research which is carried out through 2 cycles with each cycle the stages are planning, action, observation and reflection. The results showed that the application of the strategy of giving questions and getting answers combined with puzzle media could improve learning outcomes in the sub-theme of the beauty of unity and unity of my country in class IV SD Negeri Bandarharjo 01 Semarang City, Academic Year 2021/2022 This year can be seen from the increase in learning outcomes per cycle, in the pre-cycle 15 students or 54% experienced an increase in cycle I, namely 21 students or 75% and in cycle II there were 25 students or 89%, this shows that the learning carried out was successful and in accordance with the indicators that have been 85% has been met. The increase also occurred in the active learning of students in cycle I, there were 21 students or 75%, there was an increase in cycle II, namely there were 26 students or 93%. 85%.

Abstract

Best Practice learning is learning that aims to find out whether the Example Non-Example Learning Model with the Direct Observation method can improve science learning outcomes in Generative Plant Propagation Material for Class VI Students of the Batak Tribe Semester I SD Negeri Pendrikan Lor 01 2021/2022 Academic Year. The main task of the teacher at school is to carry out the learning process in the classroom, in order to achieve the overall educational goals, namely to form and develop the personality of students and develop scientific potential as a whole. To carry out these basic tasks, teachers need to have broad insight, knowledge, competence, choose the right strategies, methods, models and media in the learning process. The results of this learning best practice show that the use of example non example learning models with the direct observation method can improve science learning outcomes in plant propagation material generatively. Students feel happy in participating in learning, are more active, creative, grow high curiosity, dare to express opinions or ideas, are enthusiastic about doing assignments so that learning outcomes can increase significantly.

Abstract

This report is a study on improving the ability to recognize letters in early childhood through the letter fishing game in group B of Kintelan State Kindergarten, namely: (a) What was the condition of the ability to recognize letters before the use of the panhuf game with letter fishing media in Kintelan State Kindergarten? (b) How is the implementation of the learning process to recognize letters using the media fishing game for the children in group B of Kindergarten Kintelan State? (c) How to increase the ability to recognize letters in group B in Kintelan State Kindergarten after applying letter fishing media? with the letter fishing game is to get an idea of ​​the increasing ability of children to recognize letters through playing with letter fishing media. Learning the ability to play letter fishing in group B at Kindergarten Kintelan State is by using supporting tools, namely photos of learning outcomes and observation notes. Increasing knowing letters with panhuf games, 1) can make the atmosphere happy and children become enthusiastic, 2) Learning with letter fishing makes children active in participating in letter recognition activities, 3) letter fishing activities make children interested in playing, 4) Letter fishing learning can improve children in learning to recognize letters at Kintelan State Kindergarten.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the thematic learning process in Class I SDN Kembangarum 01 Semarang City still focuses on direct learning which is generally dominated by the teacher, students still passively accept what the teacher gives, generally only one way. learning outcomes in the sub-theme of experience with friends based on the results of daily tests, the value of learning completeness in the sub-theme of experience with friends with KKM 70 is only around 50% of the total number of first grade students at SDN Kembangarum 01 Semarang City, therefore strategies that can be applied to create active learning is a strategy of questions student have (questions from students). These problems are discussed through classroom action research which is carried out through 2 cycles with each cycle the stages are planning, action, observation and reflection. The results showed that: 1) The application of the question student have strategy in learning the sub-theme of experience with friends in class I SDN Kembangarum 01 Semarang City in the 2021/2022 academic year was carried out in four stages. 2) The learning outcomes of the sub-theme experience learning with friends after applying the questions student have strategy in class I SDN Kembangarum 01 Semarang City in the 2021/2022 academic year can be seen from the increase in the value of student learning outcomes where in the pre-cycle there are 15 students or 50%, the cycle In the first cycle there were 21 students, there were 70% and in the second cycle there were 26 students or 87%. Likewise, students' interest in learning also experienced an increase where in the first cycle there were 20 students or 67%, an increase in the second cycle, which was 28 students or 93%. This achievement is in accordance with the indicators of completeness and learning outcomes above 85%.

Abstract

Abstact This study aims to describe the profile of students' ability to solve physics olympiad questions at MA Negeri 2 Kota Semarang. The research subjects with this qualitative approach were 30 students representing 6 classes of the science program from the physics olympiad competition. The results of this study found 3 profiles of abilities possessed by students participating in physics olympiad in answering questions, namely students were said to have high, medium and low abilities
