Abstract

The bureaucratic reform process requires the creation of maximum service quality improvement, especially in vertical institutions such as the Type A1 Sidoarjo KPPN. Efforts to improve services still face obstacles in the form of difficulties experienced by Work Units in understanding regulations and information delivery mechanisms. This community service program is designed to provide guidance in developing the digitization of information media in the form of infographics, given that infographics have proven to be effective in simplifying and practicalizing the delivery of complex information. This PKM program uses a collaborative mentoring method throughout the four-month internship period (June 23–October 31, 2025) at KPPN Sidoarjo, with four stages: Orientation, Identification, Implementation, and Evaluation. During the identification stage, critical indicators were found in the performance of IKPA for the second quarter of 2025, namely Supply Money Management and TUP, which then became the main targets of intervention. This program produced educational infographics on strategies to increase IKPA value, which were designed using Canva, printed as banners, and displayed in strategic areas. In conclusion, this program successfully maximized communication between employees and Satker through the use of design visualization, improved the ability of KPPN Sidoarjo employees to use digital design applications, and facilitated the delivery of data and regulations to the Work Unit.

Abstract

PKK groups in rural areas have significant potential in developing home-based micro-enterprises; however, limited financial literacy often becomes a major constraint in achieving sustainable business management. This community service program aimed to enhance the business independence of PKK groups in Landungsari Village through simple financial management training focusing on daily transaction recording, cost of production (COP) calculation, and pricing determination. The program was implemented through four stages: needs assessment, training module development, training implementation combined with on-site mentoring, and outcome evaluation. The results indicated a substantial improvement in participants’ understanding of basic financial management concepts. All participants were able to apply daily cash bookkeeping, with recording accuracy increasing from 65% in the first week to 92% in the third week. Furthermore, most participants began separating personal and business finances, calculating the cost of production, and setting more rational selling prices. On-site mentoring played a critical role in strengthening the consistency of financial recording practices and encouraging behavioral changes toward more professional business management. In conclusion, simple and context-based financial management training effectively improved the financial literacy and business independence of PKK groups. The program demonstrates that practical and participatory approaches can significantly strengthen women-led micro-enterprises. Continuous mentoring and follow-up training are recommended to ensure the sustainability of financial management practices within PKK-based businesses.

Abstract

This community service program aims to strengthen the role of local wisdom–based batik MSMEs in supporting Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 8 on decent work and economic growth. The program was conducted at Batik Wangsa Singhasari (BWS), Randuagung Village, Singosari District, Malang Regency, as a continuation of previous assistance implemented in 2022. Field observations prior to the 2025 program revealed a decline in production continuity, weak marketing practices, and limited institutional management. The novelty of this program lies in shifting the empowerment approach from technical batik skills improvement toward strengthening production management, marketing management, and institutional sustainability aligned with SDG 8. The method employed was continuous mentoring (backstopping) combined with limited capital stimulation. The results showed significant improvements, including regular batik production and sales from September to December 2025, amounting to 10 sarongs, 5 long cloths, 5 scarves, and 14 tumpal motifs, with an additional order of 40 tumpal motifs in December. Furthermore, a new organizational structure of BWS was established, a joint batik workspace and gallery were set up at Rumah Seni Budaya Batik (RSBS), and regular weekly production meetings were agreed upon. These outcomes indicate that management-based empowerment can enhance MSME sustainability and contribute effectively to the achievement of SDG 8 through local creative industries.
