Jurnal Teknologi dan Pengabdian Masyarakat (TEKIBA) urnal Teknologi dan Pengabdian Masyarakat (TEKIBA) adalah jurnal ilmiah multidisiplin yang diterbitkan oleh Fakultas Teknik Universitas PGRI Banyuangi dengan nomor registrasi ISSN 2776-947X. Jurnal ini berkaitan dengan informasi tentang gagasan, implementasi serta pencapaian dari kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat. Publikasi jurnal ini bertujuan untuk menyebarluaskan pemikiran atau gagasan konseptual dan hasil penelitian yang telah dicapai di bidang pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Abstract

This Community Service (PKM) activity aims to increase the understanding of MSME players in Jakarta about the importance of superior service to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty. In facing intense competition, it is hoped that understanding the principles of excellent service can help MSMEs implement effective service strategies, attract new customers and support local economic growth. The method for implementing outreach activities regarding service excellence innovation is designed to ensure a comprehensive and integrated approach through a series of activities that include direct assistance, counseling, outreach and consultation. Outreach activities regarding service excellence innovation in Gambir District have had a significant impact on the understanding and practice of excellent service among Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), especially those who are members of the Jakarta Entrepreneur community. Participants demonstrated increased understanding of the key elements of good customer service, including effective communication, listening skills, and responsiveness to customer needs.

Abstract

This community service project highlights the role and impact of guest houses in Karangasem's tourism, with a specific focus on Robert Guest House. The primary goal of this initiative is to develop an information system that strengthens the guest house's presence and enhances the quality of services provided to guests. To achieve this, various research methods have been employed, including a SWOT analysis, online platform development, and the implementation of digital marketing strategies. The outcomes of this project include the launch of Google Business, an official website, and social media accounts designed to increase the visibility and accessibility of the guest house. These efforts are expected to attract more tourists, boost the income of the guest house owner, and offer guests a better and more satisfying stay experience. Consequently, this project not only strengthens the position of Robert Guest House within the local tourism industry but also contributes to the economic growth of Karangasem and enhances the appeal of the destination as an attractive tourist spot.

Abstract

Extension activities regarding food and beverage packaging aim to provide relevant knowledge and skills to MSMEs in the Jakarta Entrepreneur community in an effort to improve the quality of their products and competitiveness in the market. This extension activity is carried out through direct assistance with initial observations and evaluations to understand and improve the packaging process, counseling with presentations, and training on packaging techniques. The pre-test and post-test are used to measure changes in participants' knowledge and skills, with the aim of improving the quality of product packaging and the competitiveness of MSMEs in the market. Product packaging outreach activities for MSMEs in the Jakpreneur community succeeded in increasing participants' understanding of the importance of good packaging. Through mentoring, counseling, outreach and consultation, participants now understand packaging as product protection and an important information medium. In order for this understanding to continue, MSME players are advised to take part in further training and ongoing assistance, as well as involving the government and industry associations to ensure compliance with packaging standards.

Abstract

The aim of this outreach is to teach convection business actors how to effectively use social media for marketing, including creating interesting content and using advertising, in order to expand audience reach and increase sales. This activity was held at the Tourism Institute Campus with 10 convection business actors from Jurangmangu, South Tangerang, and included three stages: theoretical and practical discussion sessions at participant locations, direct training on campus about social media, and mentoring and consultation for the application of knowledge and provision of materials training. The results of the activity showed that participants felt that social media marketing education was very effective and relevant, provided clear understanding, and was useful in improving their skills in marketing products conventionally via social media. All participants felt confident and recommended this counseling to other convection business actors.

Abstract

This community service program aims to support the diversification of sustainable local fishery products through the application of renewable energy-based technological innovations in Kelurahan Sibatua. Using the Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, this initiative actively involves the community in training, demonstration, and implementation of solar panel technology for fish cooling boxes and processing fishery products into various value-added products such as milkfish nuggets, fish balls, and crackers. The results indicate that the solar panel technology used in the cooling boxes effectively improves the quality and shelf life of fish catches while reducing operational costs that previously relied on fossil energy. Additionally, technical training and mentoring successfully enhanced the community’s skills in fish processing and the use of renewable energy technologies. Evaluation through pre-test and post-test assessments showed a significant improvement in participants' competencies, from basic understanding to the application of technology and sustainable fishery product production.

Abstract

The food truck phenomenon has become a form of culinary business that is increasingly popular in various countries, including Indonesia. A food truck is a vehicle that is designed in such a way that it is suitable for selling food and drinks. KOCAK, namely a coffee rickshaw, a vehicle that can be said to resemble a mini food truck, but is specifically designed for the coffee angkringan model. This model is offered to partners of the 2024 PKM DRTPM program at Widya Gama University, Malang. The main marketing problem faced by partners is related to the sale of finished products. Sales of ready-to-drink coffee specifically produced by the partner community are constrained by the provision of angkringan locations, which require a lot of resources. Partners are targeting the existence of mobile angkringan. In this case, KOCAK is offered as a solution. This manuscript examines the potential success of the KOCAK design as a solution to partner problems. The results of the analysis of the KOCAK design show that KOCAK as an innovative design concept promises the potential for successful implementation when applied. Analysis of the components of the design plan has shown advantages in various aspects of the business. Thus, this solution is feasible to implement.

Abstract

Permintaan global terhadap ikan diperkirakan akan meningkat secara signifikan, dengan nilai pasar naik dari 338,47 miliar dolar AS pada 2022 menjadi 730,28 miliar dolar AS pada 2030. Namun, ekspor perikanan Indonesia hanya mencapai 5,6 miliar dolar AS pada Januari-November 2023, di bawah target 7,2 miliar dolar AS untuk 2024. Di Probolinggo, hanya 227 UKM pengolah hasil kelautan yang memiliki sertifikat P-IRT, dengan salah satu produk unggulan “Sambal Bledeg Probolinggo,” yang memiliki potensi untuk dikembangkan menjadi sambal ikan asap. Mitra menghadapi tantangan, seperti masa simpan produk yang pendek, kurangnya teknologi pengemasan, dan manajemen keuangan manual. Solusi yang diusulkan meliputi investasi dalam teknologi pengemasan modern, pelatihan pengolahan ikan, dan penerapan sistem manajemen keuangan elektronik (e-finance). Proyek ini mencakup pembuatan Continuous Band Sealer dan Smokehouse, yang terbukti efektif dalam mendukung produksi. Pelatihan yang dilaksanakan mencakup penggunaan Continuous Band Sealer dan teknik pengolahan ikan asap menggunakan smokehouse. Selain itu, pelatihan e-finance dirancang untuk meningkatkan kapasitas mitra dalam pengelolaan keuangan bisnis secara efisien. Setelah pelatihan, mitra dapat mengoperasikan alat dan memproduksi sambal ikan asap yang mendapat respon positif dari konsumen. Program ini berhasil memberdayakan mitra untuk memperluas produksi dan meningkatkan daya saing di pasar lokal. Penerapan teknologi hard dan soft menunjukkan dampak positif pada kebermanfaatan dan produktivitas usaha, dengan fokus pada efisiensi dan kualitas produk.

Abstract

This community service program aims to empower members of the Dharma Wanita Persatuan SMPN 1 Rowokangkung through the management of a healthy canteen as part of efforts to improve economic welfare. Although this canteen has great potential, partners face challenges such as limited production capacity, lack of product variety, and inability to prepare financial reports that meet standards. To overcome these problems, this program offers solutions that focus on three main aspects: 1) Increasing production capacity through the procurement of new machines, such as cup sealer machines, freezers, and electric ovens; 2) Product diversification with the innovation of six new healthy and attractive menus for students, which are implemented through training and technology application; and 3) Increasing partners' understanding and skills in preparing financial reports based on Financial Accounting Standards for Micro, Small, and Medium Entities. The implementation method consists of five stages: socialization, training, technology application, mentoring, and evaluation, as well as program sustainability efforts. This program has succeeded in increasing the production capacity of the healthy canteen, where daily production has increased by more than 50% thanks to new machines. Product diversification added six healthy menu variations that were more attractive to consumers, thus increasing the appeal of the canteen. In addition, partner members showed significant improvements in their ability to prepare more transparent and standardized financial reports, with average test scores increasing from 53 to 93 after the training. Overall, this program improves the economy of partner members and contributes to creating a healthier school environment. The program's sustainability is driven by the partners' commitment to continue developing healthy canteens, making it a real effort to empower the economy and welfare of the school community.

Abstract

Cogreg Village in Parung District, Bogor Regency, has great potential in the micro, small and medium enterprise (MSME) sector, especially through the Kemuning Mandiri UKM which operates in the field of processed catfish and snacks. However, these SMEs face various challenges such as inadequate product packaging, limited marketing, and low awareness and knowledge about work safety (K3). These problems hinder competitiveness and business growth. This research aims to implement solutions in the form of socialization, training and application of sealer technology to improve product quality, work safety and production efficiency. Through the stages of socialization, training, technology application, mentoring, and program sustainability, the results achieved show a significant increase in technical knowledge and K3 practices, optimization of product packaging, and expansion of business networks. Before the intervention, products were packaged manually with low shelf life and limited marketing. After training, products have better, consistent and safer packaging quality, and there is an increase in partners' understanding of the importance of SOP and K3. This program not only increases product competitiveness but also contributes to strengthening the local economy. Thus, this research makes a real contribution in increasing the capacity and quality of Kemuning Mandiri UKM products in a sustainable manner

Abstract

Easy and accurate access to information about TKIT Al Binaa is a crucial need for the community, particularly for parents who require detailed information on educational services. The limited time parents have to conduct direct surveys necessitates a medium that can effectively provide this information. This article proposes the development of a website to support information management, administration, and branding at TKIT Al Binaa. The website is expected to ease public access to necessary information while assisting the school in disseminating information and facilitating administrative processes efficiently. The website development follows four main stages: data collection, website creation, usage socialization, and evaluation. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and PIECES analysis to meet the school's needs. This initiative is anticipated to significantly contribute to resolving information access issues and reinforce TKIT Al Binaa's brand as a technologically-oriented institution. Throughout the program, the school has shown high enthusiasm and welcomed the outcomes of this initiative.
