Abstract

This research aims to look at the quality of Islamic education in a multicultural society in terms of learning outcomes. The descriptive approach of "bibliometric analysis" was utilized to accomplish this. It examined (233) scientific studies overten years (2010-2021) and critically evaluated them in light of the study questions in order to identify the variables that these studies sought to investigate on the strategy, their impact on those variables, and the justification for the strategy's positive impact. According to the findings, the flipped classroom may givestudents a more dynamic learning environment, resulting in increased learning accomplishment and better preparedness for 21st-century learning and job situations. Many of the research examined the benefits and advantages of this method and the relevance of implementing it at various levels of education due to its demonstrable results in increasing a variety of learning outcomes. The researchadvised that instructors adopt the flipped classroom technique more often because of its favorable influence on learning outcomes. It also recommended pursuing research into the causes for the strategy's lack of evident beneficial effect in other trials.

Islamic finance has universal characteristics, namely that it can not only be used by Muslims but also by non-Muslims. This study aims to examine the determinants of non-Muslim communities using sharia insurance products. This study uses quantitative research by collecting data through the distribution of questionnaires with a Likert scale to research respondents totaling 34 people. Respondents were identified as being Hinduist, Buddhist, Protestant, Catholic, and Confucian. The analysis technique used in this research is Multiple Linear Regression Analysis. The results ofthis study clearly show that premium rates, products, and promotions partially affect the intention ofnon-Muslims to use Islamic insurance products. The Islamic insurance literacy variable does not partially affect the non-Muslims intention to use Islamic insurance products. Variables Rates (Premiums), Product Quality, Promotion, and understanding simultaneously influence the intention of non-Muslims to use Islamic insurance. The non-Muslims intention to have sharia Islamic can be explained by the tarif variable, product quality variable, promotion variable, and understanding of41.4%, while the remaining 58.6% is influenced by other variables outside the variables used in this study.

Abstract

Madura is a small island whose people are famous for their very strong religiosity. Islamic values are maintained very well in almost all aspects of their lives, including intourism. The purpose of this study is to find out how community involvement helps maintain adherence to Islamic values in Bukit Tinggi tourist destinations. Research methods use a qualitative approach. The data was obtained through interviews, and observations and analyzed with Miles and Huberman's Interactive Analysis Model. The results of this study showed that the public voluntarily participated in monitoring the behavior of tourists, reprimanding tourists if they did things that were not under Islamic teachings, and also processed them to the Village Chief if the actions of these tourists had exceeded the limit. This research concludes that involving the community in maintaining compliance with Shariah is very helpful for tourism managers to always keep these tourist destinations from unwanted things and violate religious rules. The results of this study contribute that managers can join hands with the community in the management of tourism including in maintaining the value of Islam in this tourist destination.

Abstract

The aims of this study is to test the reliability and validity of Fear of Intimacy scale that measures individual anxiety and anxiety in having close relationships or intimacy in romantic relationships which introduced by Deschutner and Thelen (1991). Several items have developed from previous studies there are eight items taken and developed from the intimacy development inventory questionnaire and two items taken from the intimacy subscale of Erikson's subscale (Deschutner and Thelen, 1991). The scale adaptation process that the researcher did in this study refers to the journal Guidelines for the Process of Cross-Cultural Adaptation of Self-Report Measures (Beaton, 2000). Distribution of data and samples of data was carried out through Google Forms application, where the researcher distributed questionnaire links through social media that met the research population criteria. The research population criteria set by the researcher is for university students who have an age range of18-24 years. The sampling technique used in this research is accidental sampling. Respondentsin this study were 235 students. To test the validity of the measurement scale, the researcher used Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) with Lisrel software. The results of the construct validity test on the Fear of Intimacy Scale, shows that the items on this scale are significantly unidimensional, means that, they only measure the construct of the fear of intimacy dimension. In addition, the results of the translation process are also considered good, because there is no difference in meaning between the results of the back translation and the initial scale. Respondents can easily understand the statements contained in this scale. Based on the results of the CFA analysis with the Lisrel program, the fear of intimacy scale consist of 32 question, however it is known that there are two items that have a t value below 1.96, so that the significant items on this scale are 32 items consisting of 3 dimensions. Further psychometric properties and psychological implication are described.

Abstract

The main land coastal development activities (Makassar City and its surroundings) have direct and indirect impacts on the community and the environment, especially fishermen who catch fish on the coral reefs of the Spermonde Archipelago. These activities include sea sand extraction and beach reclamation for the construction of ports and waterfront cities. The perceived impact consists of positive and negative values. This study aims to analyze the community perception of coral reef damage caused by the impact of mainland coastal development activities in Makassar City and its surroundings. This research was conducted from October to November 2021 on Barrang Caddi Island, Badi Island and Bontosua Island, Spermonde Archipelago. This research is classified as ex post facto with descriptive quantitative survey method. Respondents in this study as many as 200 people who make a living as fishermen. Determination of informants is done by stratified random sampling method. The measurement of the degree of perception is measured by the Likert scale method. The results of the study indicate that the positive value impacts are to provide security from the crime of illegal fishing, and the community gets a side job, namely the activity of rehabilitating coral reefs. The negative value impacts are the disruption of local wisdom, the increase in environmental pollution, the decrease in the number of fish catches, as well as higher fishing operational costs incurred. To manage public perception, it is necessary to manage the impact of development and community empowerment in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of product selling price on profitability at PT.Semen Bosowa in Maros regency which is descriptive and comparative with the entire population of data in the form of income statements and production data at PT. Semen Bosowa in Maros Regency. Sampling was carried out by means of positive sampling in order to obtain a sample of the income statement and production data for the years 2015-2019. Data were analyzed using simple linear regression analysis, correlation coefficient and t test. The result of regression analysis shows that Ŷ = 0.204 - 0.020X. This equation means that the constant value of 0.204is the amount of profitability achieved regardless of the level of the selling price. Theregression coefficient value is -0.020 which means that if the selling price increases by1 percent, it will cause a decrease in the value of profitability at PT. Semen Bosowa in Maros Regency of 0.020. This explains the direction of the negative coefficient between selling price and profitability, namely when the selling price increases it willcause a decrease in profitability. This means that the selling price has an effect butnot significantly on profitability.

Abstract

Folklore are oral traditions which are commonly told and retold among members of acertain community in the forms of stories, legends, narratives, beliefs, and taboos. This research explores the persistence of the concept of mari-it (literally, “dangerous”) as aregulator of environmental resources in Guimaras Island, Philippines. The research madeuse of two of the indigenous research methods identified in Sikolohiyang Pilipino asappropriate in Philippine culture. To select the barangays to be the study sites for thisresearch, the indigenous variant of the interview, pakikipagkuwentuhan (“story-telling”) wasused. On the other hand, data required for this study was gathered through another indigenous research method, pagtatanong-tanong, a Filipino word which means "asking questions”. This research finds that folklore particularly the belief in the concept of mariit, serves as a regulator of natural resources since it limits people’s activities in some areas which are believed to be the dwelling places of spiritual beings. As a result, natural resources in these places remain undisturbed or their exploitation is minimal. It is recommended to make use of these oral traditions to promote ecological consciousness and awareness among people. We can incorporate these oral traditions to our ecological conservation practices that can develop further our environmental management efforts.

Abstract

The company's value is an assessment of investors, customers, and stakeholders on the company's condition that can be seen based on the market price value of the company's stock. This research aims to find out the influence of Risk Profile, Good Corporate Governance (GCG), Earnings, and Capital (RGEC) on corporate value (Earning Per Share). This study uses regression analysis techniques panel data from the annual report of 12 Indonesian Islamic banks in the period 2015-2019. The data used in this study used quantitative data obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) website and each Islamic bank website. The results of this study can be concluded that risk profiles have apositive and significant effect on the company's value. At the same time, good corporate governance (GCG), earnings, and capital are known to have a negative and in significant effect on the company's value. Advice for further research is to use variables other than NPF, the proportion of board of commissioners, ROE, or CAR so that the study results are different and add research time. The conclusion of this study is that the RGEC method in addition to being used for bank health assessment can also be used to assess companies through all four ratios.
