Abstract

The government's efforts to control population growth can be seen from their support for relevant agencies to optimize birth rate control. Fertility is the main component of population growth is closely related to infant mortality, education levels, and the economy. In 2019, Indonesia's total fertility rate is still 2.2 per woman, above the target value of 2.1 per woman to create a prosperous family. The Covid-19 pandemic, which has forced changes in all areas of life, including the government's large-scale social restriction (LSSR) policy, has again triggered an explosion in the birth rate. It is further exacerbated by the decline in the use of Contraceptives. Contraceptive implants decreased from 81,062 to 51,536, injectables from 524,989 to 341,109, birth control pills from 251,619 to 146,767, condoms from 31,502 to 19,583, MOP (vasectomy) from 2,283 to 1,196, and MOW (tubectomies) from 13,571 to 8,093. Public knowledge of contraceptives and the choice of long-term contraceptive methods (LTCM) can stimulate the optimization of birth control. Therefore, this research focuses on looking at the perception of marginalized people in Makassar City on birth control. This study is an analytical survey with four knowledge indicators, namely understanding birth control, prosperous families, risk of early marriage, and long-term contraceptive methods. The survey results show that 95 people, 6% understand well about birth rate control, 97.8% are good for prosperous families, and 100% are good for long-term contraceptive methods. Statistical analysis test proves that understanding birth rate control, the  prosperous family, and long-term contraceptive method has a significant relationship with each p-value = 0.00 <0.05.

Abstract

In facing the era of openness of society 5.0, an ethical filter is needed with an effort to give meaning to the aesthetic values that are assets of national culture. Value education and 'urf are one of the counter hegemony in the millennial era. The flow of industrialization brings consequences for social change. The existence of a traditional religious system has its own charm. This phenomenon can be seen in the syncretism of the cembengan tradition that took place in sugar factories on the island of Java, especially in this study in Solo Raya. This study aims to describe the history, implementation of picking ‘manten tebu’ cane and the relevance of picking ‘manten tebu’ cane in the syncretism of the Cembengan tradition in terms of value education and 'urf. This research is field research using primary and secondary data, and Milles and Huberman model analysis techniques. The results of this study show that the harmony of the community around the sugar factory in Solo Raya as a multicultural society can be seen from the ritual symbols and spiritual symbols in the Cembengan tradition which contains syncretism between Confucianism-Islam-Javanese which is integrated into mystical cultural discourse. The phenomenon of the procession of marrying ‘tebu’ cane/cembengan in the procession of the cane ‘manten tebu’ carnival is followed by the ijab qobul led by the penghulu who in this case is represented by the traditional leader and the procession ends with a sukur (the distribution of each ubo rampe). The value education of picking ‘manten tebu’ cane in the synchronization of the cembengan tradition can be seen from religious values and social values. When viewed from the implementation, it includes 'urf fi'li but from its scope it is 'urf Khash because it is only carried out by sugarcane farmers around the sugar factory. And in terms of assessment, it is urf shohih if the belief or belief in carrying out the tradition continues to ask God and will become 'urf fasid if there is a misunderstanding and causes damage to aqidah if it is done to ask the unseen ruler.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to demonstrate an improvement in the social development of children aged 5-6 years through traditional Makassar Songkoksongkok Jangang games at Nurul Falah Kindergarten in Bontomarannu Village, District Bontotiro, Bulukumba Regency. This study employs a quantitative approach to quasi-experimental research, with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The sample size was 12 children aged 5-6 years. The study's instrument was an observation sheet, which was analyzed using non-parametric statistics and the Wilcoxon-signed ranking test. The p-value of 0.002 indicated that there was a difference in the average value of children's social development before and after playing the traditional Makassar Songkok-songkok Jangang game (p 0.05). This is demonstrated by an increase in the average score before (28.75) to the average value of children's social development after (50.17) playing the traditional Makassar Songkok-songkok Jangang in Nurul Falah Kindergarten, Bontomarannu Village, district. Bontotiro, Bulukumba Regency. An increase in the social development of children aged 5-6 years through traditional Makassar games, songkok-songkok, does not imply that teachers or parents of children will continue to traditionalize traditional games in children and develop them to meet the needs of the times.

Abstract

The data presented by the IPPC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) sends a warning signal to humanity. That humanity is in danger for the next 20 years is caused by global warming. So, how is the relationship between technological advances in solving these problems? On the one hand, we are facing the era of society 5.0 which is an era where technology is part of life itself so that technology no longer stops at mere informants. On the other hand, we lack the value of humanity itself, in this case, regarding the relationship between humans and their natural environment or in the term of Islamic studies referred to as hifz bi'ah. In this nuance of confusion, Tafsir Maqasidi issued New Fundamental Values of Qur'anic Ecology to maintain balance, both in the realm of epistemology and ontology. This study uses qualitative data, namely library research and uses a historical-philosophical approach as a means of building critical reasoning. The results of this study indicate that building the hifz al-Bi'ah paradigm through the construction of a new fundamental of Qur'anic Maqasidi in the Society 5.0 era is a necessity, so that explicitly (Maqasid Dhzahir) min kharij an-nusus, namely environmental verses (Hifz al-Bi'ah) is part of the responsibility as caliph al-'Ard as well as a guardian of the trust in the discourse of trilogy relations (God, the Universe, Humans), while implicitly (Maqasid Bathin) min dakhil an-nusus, namely the value of al'Adalah wa al-Musawah (justice), al-ukhwah al-insaniyyah ma'a al-bi'ah which reflects the attitude of al-wasathiyyah (balance). For this reason, on the one hand, the era of society 5.0 with part of life technology has brought many conveniences to human life, especially protecting the environment, on the other hand, it has also brought a new spirit for Muslim scholars to research further. Ayatul bi'ah with various perspectives so that values are obtained and then applied in everyday life.

Abstract

Khanduri Apam is one of the traditions or customs of banquets that has been passed down intergenerationally among the Acehnese, especially in the Pidie Regency. The banquet is carried out by consuming local Aceh culinary, namely Apam Cake (Serabi Cake in Bahasa) along with Aceh's typical Kuah Tuhe. As a society with thick Islamic values, Khanduri Apam is held to welcome the month of Rajab and commemorate the Isra' Mi'raj event of the Prophet Muhammad Saw. Khanduri Apam is routinely done every seventh month in the Aceh calendar system, also known as Buleun Apam, or equivalent to Rajab Month in  the Hijri Calendar. This study aims to describe the representation of theological values of the Khanduri Apam tradition among the people of Ulee Tutue Raya Village, Delima District, Pidie Regency, Aceh Province. The research method used is a descriptive analyticalqualitative method with data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. The informants are determined using the purposive sampling technique. The results of the study show that Khanduri Apam represents 5 theological values, namely: 1) divine values (worship, alms); 2) social values (togetherness, cooperation, tolerance); 3) spiritual value (commemorating Isra 'Mi'raj); 4) ritual values (remembering and praying for the spirits); and 5) intellectual values (preserving customs as well as local cuisine). In representing intellectual values, the Agency of Education and Culture of Pidie Regency also participated by instructing all schools in Pidie Regency, from kindergarten, elementary, to junior high education levels, to hold Khanduri Apam in the schoolenvironment as an effort to maintain the continuity of this tradition among the younger generations, so that they can recognize and maintain these traditions amid the onslaught of contemporary culinary. The Khanduri Apam tradition has a rooted relevance to Islamic values which are considered non contrary to Sharia Law. So that the dialectic of Islam with cultural realities will continue to be intertwined with the values of Islamic theology throughout its history.
