Abstract

In December 2019, Wuhan, Hubei province, China, became the center of an outbreak of pneumonia, which later was discovered to be a new virus called the Coronavirus, leading to a pandemic. On April 13, 2020, the Coronavirus affected most of the world. It was expected to impact on the mental health of children during this pandemic. Social media, various forms of networks, and newspapers made it nearly impossible to escape the lockdown situation. That ongoing storm changed children's physical and mental situation, especially because their brains were working more on the internet to pass the pandemic time. To figure out the mental health condition of children during the pandemic, it was conducted to lockdown children for quantitative analysis. One of the respondents delivered his expression that he felt like he was in jail inside his home during that horrible lockdown period. Here, an online survey was conducted by a team of children, the respondents had a moderate level of knowledge of feedback on the question; therefore, the very initial primary output had been recorded. However, it needed to escalate to consciousness and address the change in those children's psychological activities within this lockdown period of COVID-19 (Coronavirus).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of TikTok use on students' social behavior using a quantitative approach and survey method. The research instrument, a questionnaire, was distributed to students who are active TikTok users. Descriptive analysis shows that TikTok has become part of students' digital routines, used both for entertainment and as a source of information. This platform also encourages creativity, expands social interactions, and makes it easier for students to connect with communities with similar interests. However, the study also found negative impacts such as changes in communication styles, increased imitation of certain trends, disruptions in learning time management, and a tendency to compare themselves with other creators. The research findings indicate that although TikTok appears to influence social behavior descriptively, this influence is not strong enough to be considered statistically significant. Thus, students' social behavior is more influenced by other factors such as family environment, social experiences, and individual character. This study concludes that TikTok has a non-uniform and non-dominant influence on students' social behavior. Therefore, digital literacy efforts and adequate mentoring are needed so that students can utilize TikTok positively and avoid negative impacts that could potentially affect their social and academic development.

Abstract

This study examines the crime of abuse of a dominant position as one of the most significant anti-competitive practices that undermine market competition. The research aims to analyze the legal framework governing such practices under Law No. 03-03, as amended and supplemented by Law No. 12-08 on competition, and to clarify the mechanisms adopted by the legislator to prevent and sanction this conduct. Relying on a descriptive and analytical methodology, the study reviews the concept of economic dominance, the conditions for establishing abuse, and the forms through which it manifests in the market. It also analyzes the complementary roles of the Competition Council, as an independent administrative authority, and the judiciary in combating these practices through administrative and criminal sanctions. The study concludes that the effectiveness of combating the abuse of a dominant position depends on the integration of administrative and judicial interventions, which together contribute to protecting market integrity, ensuring fair competition, and safeguarding the interests of economic agents.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of the principles of Good Environmental Governance in waste management to realize Indonesia Zero Waste 2040. Currently, the presence of waste in Indonesia signals a state of emergency; improper waste management causes waste to continue accumulating and creates problems in various aspects. So far, waste management has used a collect-transport-dispose paradigm, so this method has not yet been able to resolve the waste problem. This study employs a descriptive qualitative method, aiming to describe, analyze, and assess the application of Good Environmental Governance (GEG) in waste management in Indonesia and its relevance to the Zero Waste 2040 agenda. The researcher also uses a national policy approach and environmental governance theory because issues of waste management and the Zero Waste 2040 target are part of the national sustainable development agenda. Research results show that to achieve Indonesia Zero Waste 2040, there are several principles that must be implemented, such as the rule of law, public participation, access to information, transparency, accountability, and the existence of effective institutions for enforcement and resolution of environmental disputes. From this research, it can be concluded that the implementation of GEG principles is still not optimal, for example, the enforcement of the rule of law has not provided strict sanctions against individuals who dispose of waste carelessly, whether at the household level, small-medium industries, or large industries.

Abstract

Digital transformation is a necessity for universities to improve their competitiveness and legitimacy. This study aims to examine the effect of implementing the New Generations Academic Information System (SIAKANG) on user satisfaction at Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University. Using an explanatory quantitative approach and SEM-PLS analysis of 379 respondents, the results of the study prove that SIAKANG has a positive and very significant effect on user satisfaction. This is indicated by a path coefficient of 0.975 and an R-square value of 0.95, which means that SIAKANG is able to explain 95% of the variation in satisfaction. This system has succeeded in improving the efficiency of academic services for students, lecturers, and educational staff. This study reinforces DeLone & McLean's Information System Success Model and provides justification for information technology investment in higher education. Strategic recommendations include strengthening governance, developing system capacity, and optimising user-oriented features.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of Village Fund budget efficiency on the acceleration of village development after the issuance of PMK Number 81 of 2025, with a case study in Bandung Village, Banjar District, Pandeglang Regency. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection techniques were carried out through in-depth interviews with village officials and relevant stakeholders, as well as documentation studies of laws and regulations and village planning documents. Data analysis was carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing stages. The results show that the Village Fund budget efficiency policy after PMK Number 81 of 2025 has encouraged a shift in the direction of village development from a dominance of physical spending towards more targeted and impact-oriented development. However, the acceleration of village development in Bandung Village has not yet been optimal. Budget efficiency is still understood administratively as spending reduction, so it has not fully improved the quality and speed of village development. The limited human resource capacity of village officials, weak impact-based performance indicators, and the risk of forming administrative economic institutions are the main inhibiting factors in realizing sustainable village development acceleration. This study concludes that the impact of Village Fund budget efficiency on the acceleration of village development after PMK Number 81 of 2025 is highly determined by the readiness of institutional capacity and village human resources.

Abstract

Several challenges and rising costs are facing the healthcare industry today. Some of these health costs are a direct consequence of lifestyle choices such as unhealth diets, obesity and smoking. These challenges can be managed if policy makers have the tools to influence and alter people’s behaviour. The conventional tools used for influencing behaviour include legislation, regulation and information provision. Recently, interest has been shown in policies that ‘nudge’ people in particular directions.
