Abstract

This study aims to see the effectiveness of STEM-based PjBL in increasing the science literacy skills of grade IV elementary school students of SDN 075018 Afilaza which totals 52 people. The method used is a quantitative method in the form of an experiment with a Control Growth Pretest-Posttest Design, where there is an experimental group given the PjBL learning model and a control group given a conventional learning model. The data collection technique uses a science literacy test. The data obtained were analyzed using a t-test. The results of this study show that there is an influence of the PjBL learning model on the improvement of science literacy skills, which can be seen from Sig (0.04) < 0.05 and t-count (2.114) > t-table (2.00758) which states that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Based on the N-Gain results, it shows an increase because the N-Gain result of the control group is 0.34 and the N-Gain result of the experimental group is 0.76

Abstract

This study aims to prove the accuracy of the hypothesis regarding the influence of students' motivation and interest in learning-on-learning achievement in elementary school 071059 Hilibadalu. The research method used is a quantitative approach. Data was collected through questionnaires. Data analysis uses a correlation test (pearson correlation coefficient) which examines the relationship between two or more variabels and a t-test, with the research subjects consisting of 57 students in grade V of SD Negeri 071059 Hilibadalu. Based on the results of data analysis, it is known that there is an influence of motivation, interest in social studies learning achievement of elementary school 071059 Hilibadalu, this is evidenced by the results of sig. 0.004 < 0.05 and the results of X2 sig. 0.000 < 0.05, the results of the T test on X1 2.981 > 2.00247 and the results on the T test X2 6.025 > 2.00247, from these results it can be concluded that H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted. The results of this study can provide new insights for educators and policy organizers regarding the importance of increasing students' interest and motivation in social studies learning in the future

Abstract

Mathematical reasoning aims to stimulate students to think, solve problems, and communicate information effectively. To achieve good mathematical reasoning, students need mathematical self-efficacy and disposition. So in this research, the approach used is quantitative to determine the relationship between students' self-efficacy, mathematical disposition, and mathematical reasoning abilities. The instruments used were a mathematics disposition questionnaire, self-efficacy questionnaire, mathematical reasoning ability, and learning outcomes tests. The independent variables are self-efficacy and mathematical disposition, while the dependent variable is mathematical reasoning ability. The research sample was selected using a simple random sampling technique so that all elements of the population had the same opportunity to be selected. The research respondents were students from class VI A and VI B at Tetehosi State Elementary School with a total of 62 people. And the research results show that self-efficacy and mathematical disposition have a significant influence on the mathematical reasoning abilities of students in elementary schools, and there is a significant influence between self-efficacy and mathematical disposition simultaneously on the mathematical reasoning abilities of students in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of a project-based learning model with a learning style caused by science process skills. This study used a pseudo-experimental design, two groups participated in this study. The first group is a control group that applies the Direct Instruction learning model with an audio learning style, and an experimental group that applies a Project Based Learning (PBL) learning approach with a kinesthetic learning style. In this study, test sheets were used to assess the extent to which students' science process skills were associated with the content taught in a project-based learning approach environment. The sampling technique used is a non-probability sampling technique (saturated sample) and testing is used as a data analysis technique. Test sheets are used to assess the extent to which a student's science process skills are associated with the content taught in a project-based learning approach environment. The results of the study showed that there was an influence of the direc instruction model with audio learning style, on science process skills and the influence of the PBL model with kinesthetics on the learning style of students

Abstract

This research is based on the influence of the synectic learning model on the ability to write poetry of grade V students of SD Sisobahili, Gunungsitoli City. With the number of samples at the school amounting to 58 respondents (students). The purpose of this study is to find the influence of the synectic learning model on the writing ability of elementary school students. The data collection technique used in this study is using a quantitative approach. In this study, the data collection method used is a questionnaire (questionnaire). Based on the results of the research conducted, it can be concluded that the influence of the synectic learning model on the poetry writing ability of elementary school students. In the ongoing learning process, of course, the synectic learning model is very suitable for use in teaching and learning activities. Because this learning model is an approach that prioritizes improving aspects of student creativity and self-development.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of learning facilities and family environment on the social science (IPS) learning outcomes of class IV students. This research was conducted using quantitative research methods, where data was collected through questionnaires distributed to 78 students at SDN 071015 Alo'oa. The data that has been obtained is then analyzed using validity tests, classical assumption tests, hypothesis tests and multiple linear regression techniques to determine relationships and contribution of each independent variable to the dependent variable. The research results show that learning facilities have a significant and positive influence on students' social studies learning outcomes.  Apart from that, the family environment was also found to have a significant influence on social studies learning outcomes. Family support, whether in the form of motivation, academic guidance, or providing learning resources, has been proven to improve student learning achievement

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the integrated project based learning (PjBL) model of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) in improving students' reading skills. This research method is a quantitative research method. In this study, a survey of survey materials was conducted and analyzed with instrument tests, pretests, and hypothesis tests. This study involved two groups, namely the experimental group and the control group using the STEM integrated PJBL model. The results showed that the application of this learning model showed significant results in improving students' scientific literacy. The test used quantitative research methods, namely. instrumental analysis test, hypothesis test and N-Gain test, so that the information obtained can be trusted in answering research questions. The results of the analysis showed that students who took part in project-based learning with a STEM approach had better understanding, and scientific literacy compared to traditional learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the relationship between mathematical disposition and self-efficacy and mathematical reasoning ability. Quantitative research is used. The non-test research instrument consisted of independent variables, namely self-ability (X1), mathematical disposition (X2), and bound variables, namely mathematical reasoning (Y). This study involved grade IV students of SD MIN 3 Gunungsitoli City for the 2023/2024 school year with a sample of 63 people. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire with a Likert scale and a mathematical reasoning ability test. Data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression tests. The results showed that self-efficacy influenced mathematical reasoning ability with a path coefficient value of 0.144, mathematical disposition influenced mathematical reasoning ability with a path coefficient value of 0.489, and self-efficacy and mathematical disposition simultaneously affected mathematical reasoning ability of 7.655

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the relationship betwen learning facilities and the family environment on student science learning motivation. The background to this research is based on the importance of these two factors in supporting the learning process. Adequate learning facilities, such as book, teaching aids and accsess to thecnology, are expected to increase student interest and motivation in learning science. Apart from that, a supportive family environment, such as good communication between parents and children and encouragement to learn, also contributes to student learning motivation. The data collection method used in this research in quantitative data, which allows researchers to find out how strong the relationship is between the variabels of learning facilities and family environment and learning motivation. Data was collected throught questionnaires distributed to student at school. The result of the analysis shows that there is a significant positive relationship between learning facilities and the family environment on science learning motivation, which means that the better the facilities and family support, the higher the students learning motivation. It is hoped that this reseach will provide insigh for educators and parents regarding the importance of creating a supportive learning environment to increase student learning motivation in the field of science
