Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of relationship quality and information sharing on supplier performance at PT XYZ. The study examines eight hypotheses, including the impact of trust, commitment, satisfaction with the organization, satisfaction with pricing, satisfaction with communication, information sharing on supplier loyalty, supplier communication, and supplier quality. The research method used is a survey with questionnaires distributed to 180 respondents from PT XYZ's supplier companies. Data analysis was conducted using the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method. The results show that commitment has a positive impact on information sharing. Satisfaction with the organization and satisfaction with pricing were also found to have a positive impact on information sharing. Information sharing significantly enhances supplier loyalty, supplier communication, and supplier quality. However, the influence of trust and satisfaction with communication on information sharing was not proven significant. These findings reinforce the importance of building high-quality relationships and effective information sharing in improving supplier performance. The managerial implications of this study include strategies to maintain and enhance high performance, resource optimization, simple monitoring, and focusing on improving high-interest, low-performance areas. This study also identifies several limitations and provides suggestions for future research.

Abstract

The aims this study is to analyze the effect of work-life balance, career development, and compensation on turnover intention in Generation Z in e-commerce marketplace companies in Jabodetabek. This study uses a quantitative method, where primary data is collected through online questionnaires from 161 generation Z employees in Jabodetabek e-commerce companies. The data were analyzed using smartPLS 4.1.0.2 to test the research hypotheses. Based on the analysis, it was found that work-life balance and career development have a negative and significant effect on turnover intention of Generation Z employees in Jabodetabek e-commerce companies. Meanwhile, compensation has a negative but insignificant effect on the turnover intention of Generation Z employees in the same company. However, this research model does not explain well and has weak predictive ability on turnover intention (R²=0.131, Q²=0.073), so it needs to be tested further with a larger population and additional independent variables. This study can help the management of e-commerce marketplace companies to continue to evaluate compensation, improve career development programs, and offer work flexibility to increase the loyalty of generation Z employees.

Abstract

Technological advancements and the growth of e-commerce have increased the complexity of supply chain management, making it more vulnerable to disruptions. The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted this vulnerability, leading organizations to reassess traditional risk management approaches and emphasize collaborative partnerships to enhance supply chain value. This study aims to evaluate the impact of Customer Relationship (CR), Quality of Information Sharing (QIS), Strategic Supplier Partnership (SSP), Postponement (P), Top Management Knowledge Value (TMKV), and Knowledge Sharing Practice (KSP) on Organizational Performance (OP), with Inbound and Outbound Open Innovation (IOI and OOI) as mediating variables. Data was collected from 164 professionals in Jakarta using the Purposive Sampling method through online questionnaires on Google Forms. Data analysis was conducted using the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method. The results of the study show that all independent variables positively affect organizational performance, although not all of these effects are significant. This indicates that effective integration between Supply Chain Management strategies and Open Innovation can improve organizational performance. TMKV has a significant positive impact on KSP, KSP also has a significant positive impact on IOI, IOI has a significant positive impact on OP, and KSP mediated by IOI is proven to have a significant positive effect in supporting OP, while OOI mediation is not proven. This study is not intended to generalize a theory due to the limitations in sample size, industry, and geographical area.

Abstract

The capital market has a major role for economic development which is able to encourage capital formation and sustain economic growth. Financial liberalisation between countries in the world will make capital markets in each country interconnected. If there is a large movement in the global stock index, it will also have an impact on the JCI in Indonesia. In addition to global indices, macroeconomics is also seen as capable of influencing capital markets. Inflation and interest rates are macroeconomic components that can be used. The purpose of this research is to be able to see the relationship between one variable and another, namely the Composite Stock Price Index (JCI), Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA), inflation rate, interest rate. The VAR/VECM analysis approach was used in this study. Data was taken from 2017 to 2023. The data used for modelling is 84 observations. Based on the results, Inflation and DJIA have a long-term influence on the increase of JCI, while interest rates have no long term influence on JCI in Indonesia. With the model projection for the next 10 years. The projection results state that the variability of JCI in Indonesia is most dominantly explained by the JCI variable itself with a proportion of 95.21619%, while inflation contributes 0.193202%, interest rates 0.249170%, and DJIA index 4.341438%. The results of this analysis can be used as a consideration of strategies in increasing the JCI in Indonesia to maintain the health and stability of the economy.

Abstract

This study aims to test the investment decision model among college students by integrating financial literacy and risk tolerance as mediating variables. The sample in this study were students who had invested. The data analysis technique used in this research is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Testing includes measurement models (outer model) and structural models (inner model). The results of this study indicate that mental accounting, herding behavior, and risk preference directly affect investment interest. Risk tolerance can mediate the effect of herding behavior on investment interest. In addition, financial literacy can mediate the influence between mental accounting and risk preference on investment interest. Furthermore, interest is the dominant factor in driving investment decisions. This research contributes theoretically by expanding the investment decision-making model, especially among students.

Abstract

The primary goal of this research is to explore the Department of Transportation's approach to managing public roadside parking in Binjai City, as well as the challenges it faces. This is due to the role of the Binjai City Transportation Service as a key provider of services to the residents of Binjai City. According to the Minister for Administrative Reform's Decree No. 25 of 2004, public services encompass all activities carried out by service providers to meet the needs of service recipients and comply with legal requirements. The regulations governing public roadside parking in Binjai City are outlined in Mayor of Binjai Regulation No. 27 of 2018, which amends the retribution rates for parking services on public roads as specified in Regional Regulations of Binjai City No. 4 of 2011 regarding Public Service Retribution. The research approach employed is descriptive with a focus on qualitative analysis. Data collection involved interviews, observations, and documentation review. The data was qualitatively analysed using a theoretical framework centred on persuasive communication between the Department of Transportation and individuals engaged in illegal parking, as proposed by Effendy. The results of this study indicate that the persuasive communication pattern used by the Department of Transportation is weak against illegal parking actors. It is hoped that socialization will be further enhanced in the form of a persuasive approach itself, namely by inviting illegal parking actors to want to be sheltered or fostered by the Department of Transportation.
