Abstract

Viruses are the cause of diseases that affect the human body and can lead to pandemics and epidemics in various countries. No new content has been added beyond the original text. Viruses are the cause of diseases that affect the human body and can lead to pandemics and epidemics in various countries. The language used is clear, objective, and value-neutral, with a formal register and precise word choice. The text adheres to conventional structure and format, with consistent citation and footnote style. The text is free from grammatical errors, spelling mistakes, and punctuation errors. The purpose of this research is to determine the SIS model for the spread of viral diseases, such as Covid-19 and bird flu, and their resolution behavior. The model is formed by creating a flow diagram of the disease spread using the SIS (Susceptible, Infected, Susceptible) model. The sentences and paragraphs create a logical flow of information with causal connections between statements. The study revealed two equilibrium points: the disease-free equilibrium point and the endemic equilibrium point. To analyze the stability of the disease-free equilibrium point, linearization around the equilibrium point was used. The disease-free equilibrium point is asymptotically stable if the basic reproduction number is less than one, indicating that the disease will disappear after a certain period of time. Numerical simulations were conducted to analyze the behavior of the disease model. Keywords: Education Models, Mathematics Models, SIS (Susceptible, Infected, Susceptible)

Abstract

In the era of independent learning, there was a low interest in and understanding of Natural Sciences (IPA) subjects among students. The project-based learning model emerged as an alternative to overcoming these constraints. So researchers want to know the impact of project-based learning in primary schools. The method used is pre-experimental quantitative, with the design as follows: taking samples, pretest, providing guidance, post-test after guidance, looking for the average value of the pretest and post-test, and T test results. The research was conducted at Surakarta Basic School with a 30th grade student. Types of bound variables are the values and understanding of students in the V class of Natural Sciences (IPA) and project-based free learning variables. Collecting techniques with post-test and post-test as well as data analysis with pairs of T tests. Research finds that project-based learning models have an influence on elementary school students in the fifth grade in natural science subjects (IPA). Based on the analysis, results show that t hitung > t table (2.977 > 1.6991) means there are significant differences, so the project-based learning model has an influence on value and understanding. Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has succeeded in changing the entire structure of world society. Many sectors have been affected by the ferocious spread of the Covid-19 virus; economic, tourism and even education sectors. The aim of this research is to describe Islamic Religious Education learning patterns in Lampung province which took place during the Covid-19 pandemic era. This type of research is qualitative. The research was conducted in Lampung Province targeting all educational institutions starting from primary, secondary and upper education levels. The data sources in this research were obtained from interviews; Interviews were conducted with teaching staff, education staff, students and students' parents. The research results illustrate that the Islamic Religious Education learning process in the Covid-19 pandemic era in Lampung Province encountered many obstacles. The use of online learning platforms such as Google Classroom, Google Meet, Zoom Meeting is not evenly distributed. To support the use of online learning applications, an internet quota is also required which then becomes an unexpected expense for all students' parents; and is considered a drain on your wallet. Use device for each student whose ownership is not evenly distributed due to diverse economic backgrounds. Uneven internet networks and limited teaching are also factors that policy makers need to pay attention to. Learning methods or strategies, especially Islamic Religious Education in Lampung Province, have been changed to use online learning platforms. The curriculum used in the pandemic era in Lampung Province uses an emergency curriculum. Keywords: Islamic Religious Education, Pandemic Learning, Covid-19

Abstract

This study explores the significance of ethics education at SMPN 16 Krui, Pesisir Barat, with a particular focus on the implementation of values derived from Surah Al-Isra' verses 23–24, which emphasize respect for parents and other core Islamic ethical principles. The background of the study highlights behavioral challenges among students, such as a lack of respect toward teachers and low moral awareness. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis. The findings indicate that ethics education is implemented through both formal instruction and non-formal activities, including a "Character Week" program and daily routines such as queuing culture and congregational prayers. Interactive methods like group discussions and role-playing have proven effective in helping students internalize ethical values. The values embodied in Surah Al-Isra’ verses 23–24—such as compassion, humility, and patience—are highly relevant to contemporary educational contexts and are integrated into students' daily activities. Challenges in implementation include students’ low awareness, limited parental support, inadequate facilities, and a lack of teacher training. Nevertheless, regular evaluations and strong collaboration between schools and parents serve to enhance the program’s effectiveness. This study makes a tangible contribution to the development of character education based on Qur’anic values, particularly at SMPN 16 Krui, and presents a model that can be adapted by other schools.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to explore the role of PAI teachers in shaping students' moral character during the COVID-19 pandemic at SMP IT Al-Asror, Sumbersari Village, Sekampung District, East Lampung Regency, as well as to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors involved in this process. This research employs a qualitative approach. The informants include the school principal, teaching staff, parents, and students. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The validity of the data is ensured through triangulation of methods and sources. Data analysis follows the Miles and Huberman model, which involves data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study reveal that PAI teachers played a significant role in developing students' moral character during the pandemic through collaboration with parents regarding students' learning discipline at home, mandatory prayers, completion of assignments, and students' attitudes toward their families and surroundings. The supporting factors include: (1) the role of parents or guardians, (2) advancements in technology, and (3) the use of social media. The inhibiting factors include poor internet connection, students' personal attitudes, the role of parents or guardians, lack of behavioral supervision at home, and students' laziness in completing assignments.
