Abstract

This study aims to determine the analysis of loan principal repayments and Ujrah / Mu'nah products of Rahn and Arrum Emas at Sharia Pawnshops in Lhokseumawe City. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative research. This research has been surveyed from 2020, where one of the loan agreements as a case study will end in 2022. The type of data used is qualitative data. The data sources used are primary data and data collection methods through direct interviews with employees, branch managers, randomly selected customers and general company data that can be accessed directly via the pawnshop link. The analytical method used is descriptive qualitative analysis. The research results show that every customer deciding on one of these contracts has certain considerations both in terms of the ability to pay all at once or in installments. Everything is tailored to the needs and income generated. The amount of ujrah or mu'nah determination, especially for Arrum Mas products, uses a flat calculation, where the loan principal and mu'nah are the same for each installment payment, which is 1 percent per month of the loan amount. The ujrah or mu'nah from Arrum Mas products is lower than Rahn products if the payment is calculated at maturity. Abstract

The right to regional autonomy is a source of strength for local governments in realizing community prosperity. Therefore, a work program is needed that can encourage the acceleration of regional progress so that the region can achieve the level of regional independence. The purpose of the study is to recommend local governments, especially the Lhokseumawe City Government, to be able to increase the potential of the region through the application of a sharia-based creative economy that is very in line with local culture.The target of this research is the independent variable, namely the application of sharia-based creative economy and good governance, while the dependent variable is the level of regional independence. This research is a survey of government officials. The analytical tool used is Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). The intended respondents are people who are involved in the upper-middle management level, or who are directly involved in the operational processes of the government based on established criteria (purposive sampling).The results show that the application of a sharia-based creative economy has a significant influence on the level of regional independence in the Lhokseumawe City Government, while the application of a sharia-based creative economy moderated by good governance also has a significant influence on the level of regional independence. In other words, good governance can strengthen the influence of the application of a sharia-based creative economy on the level of regional independence.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the systems and procedures for cash disbursements accounting information systems in conformity with the rules. This study also aims to determine the effectiveness of the internal control structure of cash disbursements. Cash is the most liquid financial asset used for company operations and pays company’s liability. Cash is the only asset that is ready to be converted into other types of assets. Cash is very easy to hide, carry and most risky to fraudulent activities. The cash disbursement accounting information system is a system that receives special attention in terms of monitoring assets in a company. The research was conducted at ABC Hotel Medan, Indonesia. The study was conducted by taking the data used for the study include the systems and procedures expenditure cycle. The data have been analyzed with descriptive methods with qualitative approach, this study intends to make a picture of a situation or event, and compares the systems and procedures for cash disbursements at ABC Hotel with the rules set. The results showed that the cash disbursement accounting information system at ABC Hotel was generally adequate associated with the characteristics of the internal control structure.

Abstract

Along with rising population and income levels, it has become a major factor in the rising demand for non-consumption-based necessities, which many have adopted as a way of life. The expansion of the Coffee Shop industry has made coffee an integral part of people's lifestyles. Starbucks' continued existence depends on customer loyalty. Starbucks Multatuli's efforts to maintain brand loyalty are still relatively low. Customers continue to prefer other coffee shops over Starbucks. However, the customer's affection for Starbucks will cause the customer to form an emotional bond with Starbucks. Consequently, the customer's emotional attraction to Starbucks and feelings of pleasure will increase customer satisfaction. Thus, a positive brand image will provide customers with a positive experience, which will foster a sense of love for Starbucks and increase brand loyalty. This study's objective is to examine how brand image and customer satisfaction influence brand loyalty via brand love. Four variables comprise the survey: brand image, customer satisfaction, brand loyalty, and brand love. Accidental sampling is used for sampling. The population of this study consisted of 120 Starbucks Multatuli customers who participated in the survey. Using the SmartPLS 3.0 application, PLS-SEM was utilized for data analysis. The results indicated that brand image and customer satisfaction had a significant effect on brand love, a significant effect on brand loyalty, and a significant effect on brand loyalty via brand love.

Abstract

Intense competition makes it increasingly difficult for banks to increase the number of customers in their efforts to maintain and increase their market share. So the banks have to work hard to stay competitive,namely through improving customer marketing communications and strengthening brand image. The aims of the research are, 1) To analyze the influence of marketing communications on purchasing decisions for Multipurpose Credit products at PT Bank Sumut Melati Medan Branch, 2) To analyze marketing communications affect the brand image of Multipurpose Credit products at PT Bank Sumut Melati Branch Medan. To analyze the influence of brand image on the decision to purchase Multipurpose Loan products at PT Bank Sumut Melati Medan Branch, 3) To analyze marketing communications affect the purchasing decision of Multipurpose Loan products through brand image at PT Bank Sumut Melati Medan Branch. This research is a descriptive type research with a quantitative approach. The population in this study is 64 people who use Multipurpose Credit products in 2020. Because the population size is very limited, this study did not use a sample, directly observing the population. Based on the hypothesis that has been formulated, all data is processed using the SEM-PLS analysis technique using SmartPLS 3.0 software. Based on the results of the test, it was found that marketing communication variables and brand image have a significant effect on purchasing decisions.

Abstract

In facing competition in the global era, finance companies are required to work more efficiently and effectively. An efficient company must be able to run a business with targets that can be achieved according to company goals. Therefore, companies must have human resources or what are called employees, people who are commonly called employees to carry out household activities of the company's production so that the company generates maximum profits. Therefore employees are the most important element to achieve company goals. Employees must also be able to carry out the tasks determined by the company. Employee ability is reflected in performance, good performance is optimal performance. The purpose of this study was to find out how the influence of self-esteem in an organizational context, self-awareness on employee performance with organizational commitment as a mediating variable at Astra Credit Companies (ACC) Medan Branch. This type of research is associative research with a quantitative approach with a sample of 85 respondents. The data analysis technique uses structural equation modeling (SEM) with the Smart PLS version 3.0 analysis tool. The results showed that self-esteem in the organization had a positive and significant effect on employee performance, self-awareness had a positive and significant effect on employee performance, self-esteem in the organization had a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment, self-awareness had a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment, and organizational commitment organization has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Then the results of the tests conducted show that work organizational commitment is able to mediate the relationship between self-esteem in the organization and employee performance, and organizational commitment is able to mediate the relationship between self-awareness and employee performance.

Abstract

Abstract Every child in this world born is best while his or her birth. But whether they become good or bad persons in future depends on the way their parents raise them. Islam is the religion which provides guidance to all aspects of human being to form their life successfully in reality in this world and hereafter. In this way, Islam educates parents very obviously that how should they rear their children in a proper manner. It is absolutely truth that if the children have reared as the best personalities and become good citizens, the society and the country where do they live, as well as the globe could get benefits through their valuable contributions. In this context, the topic on the role of parents in Islamic child rearing evaluates that the parents have concerned in Islamic child rearing practices in the research area. Consequently, the aim of the study is to evaluate the role of parents in following the Islamic child rearing practices accurately in Thoppur area of Trincomalee district. In line with the topic the research is designed as quantitative method and 200 families out of total parents comprising of four Grama Niladhari divisions in Thoppur area were selected to achieve the objective of the study. Moreover, the data obtained from the structured questionnaire were analyzed; discussed and described using Microsoft Excel software and the literary publications related with theoretical concepts were also utilized as secondary data collected. According to the analysis carried out, the findings reveal that all parents in the research area have entirely not followed the Islamic guidelines in their child rearing. It is very imperative to mention that although they have fully embraced the important Sunnah guidelines of Islam, they have not practiced the all aspects of Islamic system of child rearing and there are significant differences between their child-rearing practices and Islamic child-rearing practices. Therefore, the study recommends making necessary awareness among the parents regarding Islamic child rearing.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to evaluate the effectiveness of training conducted at the hall. A quantitative approach is used for the study, focusing on the population of 103 training alumni from Balai Pelatihan dan Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Desa, Daerah Tertinggal dan Transmigrasi Makassar. Data is collected through a survey in the form of a questionnaire and analyzed using the SPSS application. The results of the study show that the training organized by Balai Pelatihan dan Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Desa, Daerah Tertinggal dan Transmigrasi Makassar is highly effective. Among the three effectiveness indicators used, one indicator shows effective results, specifically related to the assessment of training facilities and amenities. The other two indicators show highly effective results, particularly concerning the evaluation of training materials and the assessment of training trainers.

Abstract

This empirical research attempts to evaluate the hypothesized relationship between information literacy in the digital environment, self-efficacy, servant leadership, and managerial performance, as well as the moderating role of management accountants. This research was conducted by taking a sample of 116 senior managers / staff who have in accounting, finance, marketing and HRD / HCM in Jabodetabek, Indonesia, by distributing questionnaires using Google Form and randomly some managers are visited to fill out statements in the questionnaire sheet. Data analysis techniques using SEM PLS version 3. Results from the tests indicate that there is a positive correlation between managerial performance and information literacy in the digital environment, between self-efficacy and managerial performance, between servant leadership and managerial performance and a negative correlation, between self-efficacy and the moderating effect of management accountants, and between servant leadership and managerial performance and a lack of moderating effect of management accountants. Abstract

North Aceh district has 12,750 ha of idle land that has the potential to be planted with rice. This unused land becomes rice paddies because it has a large enough area and contains elements needed by rice plants. PT Pupuk Iskandar Muda implemented a program to turn sandy land into fertile rice fields called AMELASIR (Amelioration of Sandy Land) with an area of 278 m2. This program is carried out by offering intensive tillage and using ameliorants. The materials added were PIM organic fertilizer, clay, manure, rice straw compost, PIM Polivit and PIM Urea. The results of this program show an increase in rice yield from year to year. In the first growing season the harvest reached 3 tons/ha, in the second growing season it reached 3.45 tons/ha, and in the third growing season the harvest reached 4.5 tons/ha. This area has a faunal biodiversity index H' 3.22 and floral biodiversity H' 2.28. The conversion of idle land into paddy fields also increased the biodiversity of several interesting fauna species, namely 12 bird species, one reptile species, two mammal species, and 20 insect species. The AMELASIR program also made the soil more fertile for some trees so that four tree species, two pole species, eight sapling species and 16 seedling species grew in the area.
