Abstract

Indonesia is an agrarian country which means that agriculture plays an important role in the overall national economy. The agricultural sector is one of the bases that are highly expected in supporting economic growth. The business opportunity from the vegetable business using the hydroponic method is very promising. Especially for fulfilling the food and nutritional needs of the community itself, since very little quality of food intake from vegetables and fruits for the people of Indonesia in particular. Tanjung Morawa area is located on the outskirts of Medan, known as a center for ornamental plants, fruits and vegetables. Communities in this area make crop cultivation a livelihood. This study aims to study strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats (SWOT analysis) of the quality of hotel services in the city of Medan in the MICE industry. The research method used is a qualitative method using an internal factor evaluation (IFE) matrix and an external factor evaluation (EFE) matrix with decision making using the Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM) matrix. The results of this study indicate that shows that the development of marketing strategies based on social media. Analysis of external and internal factors using the Internal Factor Evaluation (IFE) and External Factor Evaluation (EFE) matrices indicate that the internal influence is greater than the internal factors.

Abstract

This research was conducted on high school teachers in Physical Education in Bireuen District, with the aim being a). To find out the magnitude of the influence of the Principal's Leadership on teacher motivation in Physical Education in high schools throughout Bireuen Regency; b). To find out the magnitude of the influence of organizational culture on teacher motivation in Physical Education in high schools throughout Bireuen Regency; c). To find out the magnitude of the effect of financial compensation on the motivation of teachers in Physical Education in high schools throughout Bireuen Regency; and D). To find out the simultaneous influence of the Principal's leadership, organizational culture, and Financial Compensation on the motivation of teachers in Physical Education in the Bireuen District. This research is in the form of quantitative research with a survey of 60 high school Physical Education teachers in the Bireuen Regency, by collecting data through a questionnaire. And the method of data analysis with statistics with the path analysis approach. The results showed that 1). there is an influence of the Principal's Leadership factors on the motivation of high school Physical Education teachers in the Bireuen Regency, which is equal to 35.16%. 2). It also proves the influence of organizational culture factors, namely school culture on the motivation of high school Physical Education teachers in the Bireuen Regency, which is 18.46%. Bireuen, which is 13.81%. 4). The results of the analysis of the value of the coefficient of determination explain that the contribution of the factors of Principal Leadership, Organizational Culture and Financial Compensation to the Physical Education Motivation of 67.4%. Abstract

ABSTRACT The credibility of local endorsers is one of the factors to rely on the truth of the message that the advertisers convey, whose ad targets are local people. Cosmetics advertisements are a means of communication for products delivered through social media to attract the consumer buying interest. The purpose of this study was to determine whether the local endorsers’ credibility on cosmetic advertisement affected the consumers’ buying interest. This research was a survey. The sample comprised 92 respondents, Year-11 students of SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Raya Kepulauan, Bengkayang Regency, West Kalimantan, selected using purposive sampling technique.The data were collected with a google form delivered through online access, and they were analyzed quantitatively. The results showed that the significance value of the local endorser credibility variable (X) on the cosmetic advertising variable (Y1) in the coefficients table was 0.000 <0.05 and the count value was 8.768> 1.990, and the influence of the local endorser credibility variable on the cosmetics advertising variable was 46.0. %, categorized sufficient, while the result of the local endorser credibility variable test (X) on the purchase intention variable (Y2) was significant 0.000 <0.05 and count of 4.170> 1.990, and the influence of the variable was 16.2%, categorized low but definite. The conclusion of this study is that there is an influence of local endorsers’ credibility on cosmetic advertising and consumer buying interest.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the 2019 election logistics distribution process carried out by the KPU of Medan City along with the obstacles that resulted in the late election logistics distribution process; finding a way out of the delay in the distribution process of election logistics in Medan City so that it is in accordance with the principles of being on time, effectively and efficiently; and to analyze the impact of late distribution of election logistics on the integrity of elections. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The results showed that many factors caused delays in the distribution of the 2019 election logistics, such as the DPTHP stage, fleet shortages, policies taken for distribution from PPS in urban villages to polling stations on April 17, 2019 before the start of voting, and others. as a way out of these problems: one, permanent distribution from KPU to PPS and finally to TPS; two, Using distribution centers (warehouses) in five constituencies in Medan City to break the concentration from one place in order to ease the work, be more focused, and minimize the occurrence of logistical delays and the exchange of ballots between electoral districts. Logistical delays indicate human error, lack of capacity and capability of election administrators.

Abstract

Abstract The Medan-Berastagi Alternative Route is currently felt to be very much needed by road users, because the existing road connecting Medan and Berastagi is no longer able to serve the existing traffic volume. This can be seen from the frequent occurrence of traffic congestions on this road, both on weekdays and on weekends. This study discusses the economic feasibility of constructing the Medan-Berastagi alternative road that goes through the Tuntungan-Sibolangit Intersection. The results of this study can be used by stakeholders in making decisions related to the construction of this alternative road. The calculation results show that the total construc-tion cost is IDR 1,171,518,647,736. Meanwhile, the annual routine maintenance fee is IDR 3,114,325,566 and the periodic maintenance fee every five years is IDR 87,808,542,710. The existence of the Medan-Berastagi alternative road will save Vehicle Operating Costs of IDR 23,589,645,855 and Time Value savings of IDR 57,337,666,839 in 2023. From the results of the economic feasibility analysis, the Economic Internal Rate of Return is 12.21%, which where this value is greater than the current prevailing lending rate. Using the prevailing interest rate of 10%, a Profitability Index of 1.17 is obtained and a Net Present Value of IDR 222,365,000,000. This study shows that the construction of the Medan-Berastagi alternative road is economically feasible to build. Keywords: traffic congestion; alternative route; road construction; economic feasibility Abstrak Jalur Alternatif Medan-Berastagi saat ini dirasa sangat diperlukan oleh pengguna jalan, karena jalan eksisting yang menghubungkan Medan dan Berastagi sudah tidak mampu melayani volume lalu lintas yang ada. Hal ini terlihat dari seringnya terjadi kemacetan lalu lintas di ruas jalan ini, baik di hari kerja maupun di akhir pekan. Pada studi ini dibahas kelayakan ekonomi pembangunan jalan alternatif Medan-Berastagi yang melalui Simpang Tuntungan-Sibolangit. Hasil studi ini dapat digunakan oleh para pemangku kepentingan dalam mengambil keputusan terkait dengan pembangunan jalan alternatif ini. Hasil perhitingan menunjukkan bahwa total biaya konstruksi adalah Rp1.171.518.647.736. Sedangkan biaya pemeliharaan rutin tahunan sebesar Rp3.114.325.566 serta biaya pemeliharaan periodik per lima tahun sebesar Rp87.808.542.710. Adanya jalan alternatif Medan-Berastagi akan menghemat Biaya Operasi Kendaraan sebesar Rp23.589.645.855 dan penghe-matan Nilai Waktu sebesar Rp57.337.666.839 pada Tahun 2023. Dari hasil analisis kelayakan ekonomi didapat nilai Economic Internal Rate of Return sebesar 12,21%, yang mana nilai ini lebih besar daripada tingkat suku pinjaman yang berlaku saat. Dengan menggunakan tingkat suku bunga yang berlaku sebesar 10%, diperoleh Profitability Index sebesar 1,17 dan Net Present Value sebesar Rp222.365.000.000. Studi ini menunjukkan bahwa pembangunan jalan alternatif Medan-Berastagi layak secara ekonomi untuk dibangun.. Abstract

The level of effectiveness of regional governments in managing regional finances, especially the Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD), can be seen from their financial performance. If the local government's financial performance is high, it shows that financial management performance can be said to be successful . This research was conducted in order to determine the relationship between the realization of local original income, special allocation funds, general allocation funds, and capital expenditure on the financial performance of regional governments in 33 provinces in Indonesia. This research data comes from the APBD realization report for each province which has been audited by the central BPK for 2017-2021. The research findings show that when viewed individually, both the realization of regional income from special allocation funds and capital expenditure have a positive and significant effect on the fiscal performance of regional governments in 33 provinces in Indonesia. However, it needs to be emphasized that general allocation funds do not have a significant impact on regional government financial performance. The combined impact of PAD, DAU, DAK, and capital expenditure simultaneously influences the financial performance of local governments in 33 provinces in Indonesia

Abstract

Desa Paok Pampang merupakan hasil pemekaran dari Desa Dasan Lekong pada tahun 2010. Desa ini terletak di Kecamatan Sukamulia, Kabupaten Lombok Timur, Nusa Tenggara Barat. Desa Paok Pampang memiliki potensi dan komoditas unggulan berupa pertanian, perkebunan, dan peternakan yang menjadi sumber mata pencaharian masyarakat setempat. Meskipun 90% masyarakat Desa Paok Pampang fokus pada mata pencaharian di bidang pertanian, namun desa ini masih membutuhkan penghijauan lingkungan untuk menjaga kestabilan lingkungan. Selain itu, penghijauan lingkungan juga merupakan kelanjutan dari program kerja KKN PMD Unram periode Juni – Agustus 2023. Penghijauan lingkungan memegang peran penting dalam menjaga keseimbangan ekosistem dan memberikan dampak positif pada kualitas hidup manusia. Salah satu langkah konkret untuk mewujudkan penghijauan adalah melalui penanaman bibit pohon. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat Desa Paok Pampang terhadap pentingnya penghijauan lingkungan melalui penanaman bibit pohon sebagai upaya edukasi. Metode penelitian ini melibatkan observasi langsung dengan melaksanakan pengamatan di tempat kegiatan. Pengumpulan data sebelum kegiatan dikumpulkan melalui metode wawancara dengan kepala desa, sekretaris desa, dan beberapa kepala dusun Desa Paok Pampang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penanaman bibit pohon efektif dalam meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat terhadap pentingnya menjaga kestabilan maupun kelestarian lingkungan. Temuan ini dapat menjadi kontribusi pemahaman lebih lanjut tentang peran masyarakat dalam pelestarian lingkungan.

Abstract

Background: The implementation of regional autonomy will directly affect the regional financial financing, management and supervision system. The regional financing system in the context of regional autonomy is one of the most important aspects. To realize this, regional governments have rights and obligations over regional finances in organizing their regional government. Therefore, the regional government creates a Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget/Anggaran Pendapatan dan Belanja Daerah (APBD) as an annual regional financial plan that is determined through Regional Regulations. APBD contains regional government revenues and expenditures in a certain period. This research aims to prove whether there is an influence of Regional Original Income, General Allocation Funds, and Special Allocation Funds on capital expenditure of district/city governments in Bengkulu Province. Method: This research uses samples from the financial reports of district/city governments throughout Bengkulu Province which have been audited by the Republic of Indonesia Financial Audit Agency/Badan Pemeriksa Keuangan Republik Indonesia (BPK) from 2019-2022. Finding: Theoretically, it is hoped that this research will be useful as material for building new concepts and can be useful as a reference for further research. A limitation in this research is the availability of data or reports needed to carry out this research. So, researchers look for data or reports on other websites which takes quite a long time. Conclusion: The results of this study indicate that the Regional Original Income and Special Allocation Fund variables have no effect on capital expenditure, and the General Allocation Fund variable has an effect on capital expenditure. Novelty/Originality of this study: This study presents a comprehensive analysis of the influence of Local Revenue, General Allocation Fund, and Special Allocation Fund on capital expenditure in districts/cities in Bengkulu Province from 2019-2022. The results of this study provide new insights into the dynamics of regional finance in the context of regional autonomy in Bengkulu Province, which can be used as a reference for optimizing regional budgets in the future.

Abstract

Tanaman mentimun varietas lokal Padang merupakan tanaman sayuran unggulan bagi petani perkotaan karena umur panen yang pendek. Hasil survei menemukan adanya gejala bercak kuning dan klorosis dengan tulang daun hijau. Gejala ini mirip dengan infeksi Papaya ring spot virus (PRSV) yang menginfeksi mentimun di Jawa dan Zucchini yellow mosaic virus (ZYMV) yang menginfeksi mentimun pada umumnya. Deteksi virus dilakukan dengan teknik reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) menggunakan primer spesifik PRSV dan primer universal Potyvirus, perunutan dan analisis DNA. RT-PCR menggunakan primer spesifik PRSV DNA target tidak menghasilkan pita DNA, namun pita DNA dengan ukuran ±320 pb berhasil teramplifikasi dengan primer universal Potyvirus. Analisis sikuen nukleotida menunjukkan bahwa similaritas virus tertinggi sebesar 93.8% dan 93.5%, berturut-turut dengan ZYMV isolat Singapura dan India. Infeksi ZYMV merupakan kejadian pertama pada tanaman mentimun di Padang, Sumatera Barat.

Abstract

Bonds are an investment instrument that is in demand by both investors and issuers because they have a fixed income that comes from interest and principal debt. The solvency ratio is an important indicator in evaluating a company's ability to meet long-term financial obligations. This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the solvency ratio as a tool for measuring a company's ability to fulfill long-term obligations to the company PT. Adhi Commuter Properti and its subsidiaries listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The research method used is descriptive qualitative by calculating the solvency ratio (Debt to Asset Ratio and Debt to Equity Ratio) from the financial report data of the company PT. Adhi Commuter Properti and subsidiaries that issued bonds in 2021 and 2022. This research evaluates the effectiveness of the solvency ratio as a tool for measuring the company's ability to fulfill its long-term obligations, using PT. Adhi Commuter Properti and Subsidiaries as a case study. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data analysis from the annual financial reports of companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange and the bond rating database from PT. PEFINDO for the 2021-2022 period. The results of the solvency ratio analysis show a decrease in the Debt to Asset Ratio (DAR) from 64.87% (2021) to 61.11% (2022), as well as a decrease in the Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) from 193.92% (2021) to 173 .84% (2022). This indicates better management of financial risks and possible reduction in interest expenses for the company. These changes provide investors with a positive indication regarding the company's financial stability and the potential for reducing financial risks associated with liabilities. In terms of bond ratings, PT. Adhi Commuter Properti maintains its idBBB rating in 2021 and 2022, demonstrating adequate ability to pay its financial obligations.
