Abstract

This research aims to determine the factors influencing Indonesian natural rubber exports to the United States. This research was conducted in March-May 2024. This quantitative research uses the 2 SLS (Two Stage Least Square) method with a simultaneous equation model. The data used is secondary data obtained from Trademap, the World Bank, and the Directorate General of Indonesian Plantations over 20 years (2001-2022). The results of the research show that in the equation for Indonesian natural rubber exports to the United States, the variables that have a significant influence are the variables namely Indonesian rubber prices, United States rubber prices, Indonesian rubber production, rubber production from competing countries, United States gross domestic product, export quota limitation policies, and United States inflation simultaneously has a significant influence on the variable of Indonesian rubber exports to the United States. In the Indonesian rubber price equation, the variables of world rubber prices, Indonesian rubber production, rubber prices of competing countries, demand for Indonesian rubber, total Indonesian exports, and export quota limitation policies simultaneously significantly affect the Indonesian rubber price variable. In the United States rubber price equation, world rubber prices, United States rubber substitute prices, and Indonesian rubber demand simultaneously significantly affect the United States rubber price variable.

Abstract

Bank Muamalat Indonesia is able to maintain the overall stability of its financial system; however, the bank's distress level ranges from 0.10 to 0.65, and a score below 1.81 indicates a high risk of bankruptcy. The purpose of this research is to determine the simultaneous relationship between the financial performance and financial distress level of Bank Muamalat Indonesia. This research uses secondary data from 2010 to 2023, utilizing quarterly data. The analysis employs a quantitative method with simultaneous equation techniques using the Two Stage Least Square (TSLS) method. Based on the simultaneous test results, there is a simultaneous relationship between the financial performance model and financial distress, which is identified as over-identified. In the Financial Performance (ROA) equation model, financial distress has a significant negative effect, whereas CAR and NPF are not significant. However, FDR has a significant positive effect. In the Financial Distress (Z-Score) model, NPF and FDR have a significant impact, while Financial Performance (ROA) and economic growth have a significant negative impact. The implication is the importance of financial risk management and the financial health of banks. Recommendations include enhanced supervision and financial risk management, as well as policies that support stable economic growth.

Financial well-being is an important part that individuals must achieve to improve the quality of life and performance in the organization. For organizations, financial well-being can increase a positive brand image and create trust and then at the macro level, financial well-being is very important for sustainable development goals. However, achieving financial well-being is still a challenge for both the government and organizational leaders. The aim of this research is to analyze the factors that influence financial well-being through financial behavior of civil servants in one organizational unit in Indonesia. This research examined 240 civil servants in one organizational unit in Indonesia who were selected using Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling techniques and tested using the PLS SEM statistical analysis method. This research uses a confidence level of 95%, ???? = 5%. The research results show that financial literacy factors and attitudes towards money have a positive and significant impact on financial well-being. Meanwhile, internal locus of control has an insignificant positive impact on financial well-being and financial socialization has an insignificant negative impact on financial well-being. The factors of financial literacy, internal locus of control, and financial socialization have a positive and significant effect on financial behavior. Meanwhile, attitudes towards money have an insignificant positive impact on financial behavior. Financial behavior successfully mediates the influence of financial literacy, internal locus of control, and financial socialization on financial well-being. However, financial behavior did not succeed in mediating the influence of attitudes towards money on financial well-being.

Abstract

Mobile applications have several other limitations that other types of software do not have, such as mobile context, connections, small screens, different resolutions, limited power and capabilities and different data entry methods, so that in evaluating usability factors they cannot be equated with software on In general, this research aims to analyze the causal relationship used to explain the evaluation of the usefulness of using Bank Sumut's mobile banking by using sentiment analysis to determine customer satisfaction with Bank Sumut's mobile banking. Based on the results of testing the sentiment of the North Sumatra mobile application via sentiwordnet from 200 review data, it was found that the North Sumatra mobile application still has several problems such as complaints about the application being slow to respond. Complaints were also submitted for device connection processes that experienced errors. So it can be concluded that users want their needs to be heard and improvements are made based on user feedback to evaluate the usability factors of mobile applications. Based on the test results, the sentiment level needs to be considered for evaluating usability factors because with the sentiment level it is possible to identify the shortcomings of a mobile application based on certain usability factors. So it can be concluded that Bank Sumut can take advantage of the sentiment of North Sumatra mobile application users to increase response times in handling complaints or identify improvements needed by users, such as ease of non-cash payment transactions. Based on the test results, it can be concluded that when conducting sentiment analysis to get the best evaluation results, it is best to use a support vector machine with an accuracy value of up to 80% to get better usability evaluation results.

Abstract

Funding is one of the biggest problems facing small-scale broiler chicken farmers. Another problem is not knowing how to cultivate it properly and the difficulties in selling it. Partnerships are one way to overcome the challenges commonly faced by boiler chicken farmers. PT. Charoen Pokphand and Pesantren Darussalaam, who run a boiler chicken farming operation in Langkat, North Sumatra Province, use the partnership model. The purpose of this study is to calculate the financial feasibility of the program using the benefit cost ratio (BCR), net present value (NPV), internal rate of return (IRR), and payback period (PP). Additionally, to determine how changes in labor expenses and feed prices may affect farmers' revenue. With a purposive sampling method, this explanatory research uses a case study strategy. The results of the financial analysis found that Darusalam Islamic Boarding School boiler chicken farming business was feasible, as indicated by the net present value (NPV) of IDR 316,719,165, benefit cost ratio (BCR) of 1.74, internal rate of return (IRR) of 25%, and payback period (PP) of 1.93 years. The results of the sensitivity analysis have the most sensitive changes to the business in the form of increased feed costs. Partnership system broiler farmers like Darussalam Islamic Boarding School cannot regulate selling and feed prices, so the only way to keep the business viable is to maintain the resulting production. Therefore, Farmers must be able to master cage management and good production management in order to produce maximum broiler chicken production
