Abstract

Identification of Escherichia coli and Salmonella sp. In Several Plantation Products, the aim is to explain the results of the identification test of E. coli and Salmonella sp. on plantation products. The research was carried out with 4 treatments and 2 replications. Each replication consisted of 5 dilutions. The treatments used were cocoa powder, compost, water and lettuce in selective growing media (EMBA and SSA). The parameters observed were to see whether there were E. coli or Salmonella sp. that grew in the four samples, the number of colonies and color changes that occurred as well as gas or bubbles produced in the fermentation test of sugars (glucose, sucrose and lactose). Based on the test results, it was found that E. coli and Salmonella were not present in the cocoa powder samples in EMBA and SSA media. In the compost sample, the bacteria E. coli grew on EMBA media, but Salmonella bacteria did not grow on SSA media. Lettuce samples showed E. coli growing on EMBA media, while on SSA media there was E. coli and Salmonella bacteria. Meanwhile, in water samples, E. coli, Salmonella and other bacteria grew on EMBA media. And on SSA media, Salmonella and Shigella bacteria grow. In the fermentation test of sugars such as glucose, sucrose and lactose, the media changes color to yellow and there are gas/air bubbles. This shows that bacteria can ferment carbohydrates and can produce gas. Salmonella and other bacteria grow on EMBA media. And on SSA media, Salmonella and Shigella bacteria grow. In the fermentation test of sugars such as glucose, sucrose and lactose, the media changes color to yellow and there is gas/air bubbles. This shows that bacteria can ferment carbohydrates and can produce gas. Salmonella and other bacteria grow on EMBA media. And on SSA media, Salmonella and Shigella bacteria grow. While the population is growing quickly and education is improving, work prospects remain limited due to economic underdevelopment, perpetuating the problem of youth and educated unemployment. Most states in the Northeast have worse educated and youth unemployment than the rest of the country. Educated unemployment is common in both rural and urban areas, but it disproportionately affects women in many Northeastern states.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the quality of palm sugar produced by UD Sobar. The samples were taken from the two factories owned by UD Sobar located in Bulumario Village and Simaninggir Village. The parameter that is used to determine the quality of the palm sugar produced by UD Sobar is SNI (SII 0265-85). The parameters in SNI (SII 0268-65) are total sugar (reducing sugar and sucrose), reducing sugar, sucrose, water, ash, insoluble parts, pigment, starch, dangerous metal form and content. Additional testing that has been done is a pH test and color scale test. The result of the test on palm sugar sample produced in Bulumario Village, the ash content is not up to SNI standard (SII 0268-85) which is 2.73% (maximum SNI requirement of 2%). Whilst in the sample from Simaninggir Village, the parameters that are not suitable are total sugar 79,

Abstract

In recent years, the increasing awareness of environmental concerns and its effect on public consciousness has become one of the most noticeable trends on a global level. Environmental degradation is a major threat to the life of society in the current days. The global community's unfulfilled promise of a society in which every woman enjoys complete gender equality, as well as the eradication of all legal, social, and economic obstacles to women empowerment, persists. Education disadvantages result into a lack of access to skills and opportunities in many areas of growth and development. Gender inequality is a basic human right regardless of where you live. Women comprise the largest proportion of the impoverished are the most vulnerable and disadvantaged group. This community depends more on natural resources, but has less access to them. In fact, they often face a significant burden for procuring food, water, and fuel. These areas are mostly threatened by climate change. In Kashmir women is consider as agent beyond these disasters. Hence an attempt has been made to emphasis the aura of Kashmir Valley and women as agent of change.
