Abstract

The purpose of this study was to know perception and aspiration and social interaction of communities around the ULM KHDTK area. The study was conducted in Mandiangin Timur, Karang Intan Subdistrict, Banjar Regency, South Kalimantan Province for 2 months. Determination of respondents by purposive sampling, consisting of 465 families, respondents to be taken as many as 40 families consisting of 10 people per neighborhood assosiation. The data obtained is tabulated then analyzed qualitatively. The results of the tabulation are then discussed descriptively. Perception said that 50% of the community knew about ULM KHDTK while the remaining 50% had never heard of ULM KHDTK. The aspirations of the respondents expected a clear work program from ULM KHDTK, because only once did the ULM KHDTK socialize at the beginning of the formation and at the time of the meeting it had not been explained about the technical work of ULM KHDTK. The social interaction of the community around the Unlam KHDTK is good, the use of KHDTK by the community by farming, incising (rubber gardening), selling food for visitors and making fish ponds.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui persepsi, aspirasi dan interaksi sosial masyarakat di sekitar kawasan KHDTK ULM.Penelitian dilaksanakan di Mandiangin Timur, Kecamatan Karang Intan Kabupaten Banjar Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan selama 4 bulan.Penentuan responden secara purposive sampling,terdiri dari 465 KK, responden yang akan diambil sebanyak 40 KK terdiri dari 10 orang per RT. Data yang diperoleh ditabulasi selanjutnya dianalisis secara kualitatif. Hasiltabulasi tersebut selanjutnya akan dibahas secara deskriptif.Persepsi mengatakan bahwa 50% masyarakat mengetahui tentang KHDTK ULM sedangkan 50% sisanya belum pernah mendengar tentang KHDTK ULM. Aspirasi responden mengharapkan program kerja yang jelas dari KHDTK ULM, karena hanya sekali pihak KHDTK ULM melakukan sosialisasi pada awal pembentukan dan pada saat pertemuan belum dijelaskan mengenai teknis kerja dari KHDTK ULM. Interaksi sosial masyarakat di sekitar KHDTK ULM berlangsung baik, pemanfaatan KHDTK oleh masyarakat dengan bercocok tanam, menoreh (berkebun karet), menjual makanan untuk pengunjung serta membuat tambak ikan.

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the value of the contribution of rubber, oil palm and secondary crops to the income of farm families in Simpang Jaya Village, Wanaraya District, Barito Kuala Regency, South Kalimantan. This research is also used to find out the supporting and inhibiting factors in rubber, palm oil and pulses farming in Simpang Jaya Village, Wanaraya District, Barito Kuala Regency, South Kalimantan. This study uses a purposive sampling method that is intentional sampling in accordance with the required sample requirements (certain people) according to the nature, characteristics, characteristics, and criteria. So that researchers can judge for themselves who deserve to be respondents. The results of the contribution of rubber, oil palm and secondary crops to the family income of the farmers obtained the value of the contribution of rubber farmers by 47.57%, while the contribution of oil palm farming by 27.70%, and the contribution of the secondary agricultural business by 24.73%.Keywords: contributions, family income farmers

Abstract

The areas of tropical forests in Indonesia always decrease every year, so that efforts are needed to cultivate plants efficiently for the supply of seedlings. Sungkai (Peronema canescens) has good quality wood that can be used for various purposes, either for construction, furniture, plywood or the leaves can be used for medicine. The purpose of this study was to analyze the growth of stem cuttings of sungkai based on the number of latent buds by calculating the root dry weight, bud dry weight, and total dry weight. This study used a factorial complete randomized design. There were two factors studied, namely the number of buds consisting of 2 levels: 2 buds and 1 bud, and the stem split factor. Each treatment was replicated 3 times and each experiment unit used 5 cuttings. The growth of sungkai cuttings in the treatment of two buds had a total dry weight of 170.04 grams, while the treatment of one bud had a total dry weight of 98.30 grams. The results of this study indicated that the more the number of latent buds, the more root and bud growth of cuttings.Keywords: Coppice; Latent buds; Cuttings; Sungkai

Abstract

This study aims to explore information on the causes of peatland fires that occur and assess the role of the community in efforts to prevent and control peatland fires on Sukamaju Road, North Landasan Ulin Village, Banjarbaru City. Based on the research results, the main causes of fires were 76% caused by unknown causes and spread to Jalan Sukamaju, 18% due to cigarette butts thrown carelessly, and 6% due to burning or land clearing carried out during the dry season. While for fire prevention efforts, residents plant fireproof plants with banana and papaya species, residents also make firebreaks in the form of trenches as deep as 1-2 meters between agricultural land to block fires while for fire prevention 80% of the population will report directly to the authorities if there was a fire because of the difficulty of extinguishing the fire on peatland while 20% extinguished the fire directly with makeshift equipment such as hoes or pouring water directly.Keywords: participation; community; fire, peat land

Abstract

Salah satu tahapan yang sangat penting dalam perencanaan hutan lestari adalahperlunya desain pola ruang mengenai tipe sistem silvikultur yang ideal pada setiap unit manajemen terkecil. Desain ruang untuk masing-masing tipe sistem silvikultur sudah tertuliskan didalam dokumen perencanaan baik itu jangka panjang maupun jangka pendek. Namun masih belum banyak penelitian yang membuat desain pola ruang sistem silvikultur yang berbasis spasial (SIG).Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan arahan penerapan ruang sistem silvikultur pada setip unit manajemen (multisistem silvikultur). Metode penelitian berupa studi literature, pengunduhan, observasi lapangan dan wawancara. Analisis data yang digunakan berupa Normalize digital vegetation index (NDVI), Terrain analysis, Overlay, dan pivot table. Hasil penelitian ini terbagi menjadi sistem silvikultur pada berbagai tipe penutupan dan kelas lereng kawasan. Berdasarkan cangkupan terluas diantaranya, Penerapan sistem Tebang habis permudaan buatan (THPB) dengan penutupan lahan berupa lahan terbuka dan kelas lereng datar (0-8%) dengan luas 26 ha, THPB dengan Tipe penutupan semak dan belukar tua dan kelas lereng datar (0-8%) dengan luas 70 ha. Bina pilih dengan tipe penutupan vegetasi jarang dan kelas lereng datar (0-8%) dengan luas 187 ha, Bina pilih dengan tipe penutupan vegetasi jarang dan kelas lereng landai (8-15%) dengan luas 90 ha, TPTJ dengan tipe penutupan lahan vegetasi kerapatan sedang dan kelas lereng datar (0-8%) dengan luas 1000 ha.TPTJ/Bina pilih dengan tipe penutupan lahan vegetasi kerapatan rapat dan kelas lereng landai (8-15%) dengan luas 57 ha.

Abstract

The implementation of mining activities often causes environmental damage so it must be followed by reclamation and revegetation activities. The purpose of this study is to analyze the success of post-coal revegetation based on the percentage aspects of plant growth, species diversity, percentage of health, tree diameter and height and increment in PD. Baramarta Banjar Regency, South Kalimantan Province.The data collected is primary taken from plots of 10 mx 50 m, the main stand were measured by se veral plots that size10 mx 10 m, of sampling were measured in plot size 5 mx 5 m, natural plants seedling and understorey were measured in plot size 2 mx 2 m, the secondary data were collected from institution of stake holder.The highest growth percentage of the five research plots based on planting years was in 2014 (100%), plot  2016 (90.32%) and plot 2017 (100%). Conecluded that the revegetation succes are very good because its succes were above 90%, the diversity of understorey in reclamatation land is still low, especially for the sampling level while seedling levels are not found on the land, plants in the five research plots are classified as healthy because 4 out of 5 plots measured the healthy percentage of plants over 90%, increment of diameter and height of sengon laut trees and sengon buto is higher than the type of acacia, tread of diameter and height revegetation relative better than first year after planting and decreasing with getting older age of plantsKeywords: Postmining; revegetation; reclamation; diversity of types; percentage growing; percentage of health

Abstract

ABSTRACT,This study aims to analyze the effect of duration of seed soaking on percentage of seed germination of cinnamon.This study appliedthree treatments and five replications. Each treatment consisted of 10 seedst, so the number of seedsneeded was 150 seeds. The treatments were duration of seed soaking of 12 hours, duration of seed soaking of 24 hours, and without seed soaking (control). The analisis model used was a completely randomized design. The results of this study showed that duration of seed soaking significantly affected the percentage of seed gemination of cinnamon. The highest percentage of germination was obtained from the seeds soaked for 24 hours (90%) followed by the seeds soaked for 12 hours (76%), and the lowest one was gained from the seeds without treatment/control (62%).Keywords: Seed, cinnamon; percentage of germination.ABSTRACT, Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis persentase perkecambahan benih kayu manis. Penelitian ini menggunakantiga perlakuan dan lima ulangan. Setiap perlakuan terdiri dari 10 benih kayu manis, sehingga jumlah benih yang digunakan adalah sebanyak 150 benih. Perlakuan yang diberikan adalah prendaman benih dengan air biasa selama 24 jam, 12 jam, dan tanpa perendaman. Model analisis yang digunakan adalah rancangan acak lengkap. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa persentase perkecambahan tertinggi diperoleh dari perlakuan perendaman benih selama 24 jam (90%) diikuti olehperlakuan perendaman benih selama 12 jam(76%), dan persentase perkecambahan benih terendah diperoleh dari benih yang tidak diberi perlakuan/kontrol (62%). perlakuan tanpa perendaman sebesar 62%.Kata kunci: Benih, kayu manis, persentase perkecambahan.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effectiveness and efficiency value of plywood production machines. This research was conducted by observing and recording the production flow or workflow of the machines in a series on the plywood production process used in PT Surya Satrya Timur. Data retrieval is only taken on the morning shift which is from 07.00 to 17.00 WITA and on each machine is observed three times. Based on the data obtained for log cutting machine, effectiveness (90%) and efficiency (41.70%). Rotary machine, effectiveness (90%) and efficiency (81.56%). Machine Continues Dryer, effectiveness (90%) and efficiency (85.19%). Core jointer machine, effectiveness (90%) and efficiency (76.1%). Glue spreader machine, effectiveness (90%) and efficiency (59.43%). Cold press machine, effectiveness (90%) and efficiency (30.03%). Hot press machine, effectiveness (90%) and efficiency (79.27%). Sizer machine, effectiveness (83.34%) and efficiency (37.41%). Sander machine, effectiveness (90%) and efficiency (54.15%). Thus, the effectiveness value of the use of machines in one series at PT Surya Satrya Timur has achieved a high effectiveness value of 90% on eight machines in the phase of the plywood production process including Log cutting, Rotary, Continues Dryer, Core Jointer, Glue Spreader, Cold Press, Hot press and Sander and one machine the value is not yet high i.e. at the stage Sizer only reached 83.34%. While the efficiency value of the machine at PT Surya Satrya Timur ranges from 30.03% - 85.19%. The most efficient stage in the production process is the Continues Dryer stage of 85.19% and the lowest efficiency is at the Cold Press, Sizer and Log Cutting stages of 30.03%, 37.41 and 41.70% respectivelyPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis nilai efektifitas dan efisiensi mesin-mesin produksi kayu lapis. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan mengamati dan mencatat alur produksi atau alur kerja mesin-mesin dalam satu rangkaian pada proses produksi kayu lapis yang digunakan di PT Surya Satrya Timur. Pengambilan data hanya diambil pada shift pagi yaitu dari jam 07.00 sampai 17.00 WITA dan pada setiap mesin dilakukan pengamatan sebanyak tiga kali. Berdasarkan data yang didapat untuk mesin Log cutting, efektivitas (90%) dan efisiensi (41,70%). Mesin Rotary, efektivitas (90%) dan efisiensi (81,56%). Mesin Continues Dryer, efektivitas (90%) dan efisiensi (85,19%). Mesin Core jointer, efektivitas (90%) dan efisiensi (76,1%). Mesin Glue spreader, efektivitas (90%) dan efisiensi (59,43%). Mesin Cold press, efektivitas (90%) dan efisiensi (30,03%). Mesin Hot press, efektivitas (90%) dan efisiensi (79,27%). Mesin Sizer, efektivitas (83,34%) dan efisiensi (37,41%). Mesin Sander, efektivitas (90%) dan efisiensi (54,15%). Jadi, Nilai efektifitas penggunaan mesin pada satu rangkaian di PT Surya Satrya Timur sudah mencapai nilai efektifitas yang tinggi sebesar 90% pada delapan mesin tahap proses produksi kayu lapis diantaranya tahap Log cutting, Rotary, Continues Dryer, Core Jointer, Glue Spreader, Cold Press, Hot press dan Sander dan satu mesin nilainya belum tinggi yaitu pada tahap Sizer hanya mencapai 83,34%. Sedangkan nilai efisiensi mesin pada PT Surya Satrya Timur berkisar antara 30,03% - 85,19%. Tahap yang paling efisien dalam proses produksi yaitu tahap Continues Dryer sebesar 85,19% dan efisiensi paling rendah yaitu pada tahap Cold Press, Sizer dan Log Cutting masing – masing 30,03%, 37,41 dan 41,70%

Abstract

Aim of the was analyze quality of kelulut (Trigona sp) generated from the village of Mangkauk sub-district of Banjar Regency is a wide including moisture content, ash levels, reducing sugars, sucrose, sugar levels of acidity, solids is insoluble in water, lead, copper and arsenic. This research procedure using the honey quality test based on SNI 01-3545-2004. Research on the quality of honey owned by honey farmers from Mangkauk Village fulfills SNI 01-3545-2004, i.e. the levels of sucrose, solid is soluble in water, lead, copper, and arsenic, the results of the analysis of honey that does not meet SNI (01-3545-2004), the moisture content, reducing sugar levels and acidity content.Keywords: The qualities of honey kelulut; the water level; Acidity levels reducing sugar

Abstract

This research purposes to determine seed growth of limau kuit explant by tissue culture with arranger growth IBA and BAP. This research is expected to give advantage for alternative supply limau kuit seeding by tisuue culture and give scientific information for develop best quality limau kuit seedling. Data collection and this research from weekly observations limau kuit explant. The results of the studySshowed that theecombination treatment of concentration withhthe addition of ZPT in the form of IBA and BAP gave a visible response to the concentration of treatment A with the addition of IBA and BAP hormones of 0.5 Ppm and treatment of B with the addition of the hormones IBA and BAP respectively 1 Ppm is more stimulating to the formation of shoots in  limau kuit seeds while in treatment C with the addition of the hormones IBA and BAP respectively as much as 2 Ppm and Treatment D with the addition of IBA and BAP hormones as much as 4 Ppm each stimulates root growth. Based on all the experiments from the observed data, there were 15 explants that experienced new organ growth and 2 explants that formed a small callus after being observed for 8 weeks.Keywords: explan; growth regulating agent; Limau kuit
