Jurnal Teknik Sipil ITATS adalah jurnal ilmiah yang diterbitkan oleh Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian Masyarakat (LPPM-ITATS) yang bertujuan untuk menyebarluaskan hasil-hasil penelitian yang berkaitan dengan bidang teknik sipil, dimana pembaca jurnal diharapkan dari peneliti / ilmuwan teknik sipil, mahasiswa di bidang terkait , insinyur, dan praktisi di bidang ini. Jurnal Teknik Sipil ITATS berdiri sejak tahun 2020, dengan edisi pertama Volume 1, Nomor 1, Mei 2020. Pada periode pertama terbit, Jurnal Teknik Sipil terbit setiap enam bulan (2 kali dalam setahun) yaitu pada bulan Mei, dan November. Jurnal Teknik Sipil Institut Teknologi Adhi Tama Surabaya menerbitkan artikel ilmiah di bidang teknik sipil, sebagai berikut. Rekayasa Struktural Teknik Sumber Daya Air Teknik Transportasi Teknik Geoteknik Teknik & Manajemen Konstruksi, Perencanaan Kota Teknik Struktur Bangunan Semua makalah yang dikirimkan akan menjalani proses peninjauan buta, dari dua peninjau anonim. Secara umum, Jurnal Teknil Sipil memprioritaskan makalah yang dapat menunjukkan orisinalitas, kebaruan, dan temuan penting yang dapat bermanfaat bagi minat pembaca. Abstract

Curing plays a vital role in concrete production, as proper treatment is essential before conducting a compressive strength test to ensure optimal results. Concrete cured in seawater often exhibits different strength characteristics due to the salt content. This study examines the effects of curing with both seawater and freshwater on concrete containing fly ash. The research aims to compare the compressive strength of concrete with fly ash substitution under two different curing conditions. Using an experimental approach, the study incorporated 40% fly ash and 1% polycarboxylate admixture into the concrete mix to target a high compressive strength of K-500. Results indicate that concrete with fly ash cured in seawater achieved an average compressive strength of 807.40 kg/cm² at 28 days, while concrete cured in freshwater reached only 667.94 kg/cm².

Abstract

The application of Building Information Modeling (BIM) 4D technology in the total rehabilitation project of SMP Negeri 117 East Jakarta has been proven to contribute significantly to the effectiveness of project management, especially in the aspect of scheduling. By integrating time data into a three-dimensional model, BIM 4D enables a more informative and interactive visualisation of construction progress. This approach not only makes it easier for stakeholders to understand the sequence of implementation, but also helps detect potential scheduling conflicts from the planning stage. Through the Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate stages used in the Research and Development (RD) approach, the process of developing the 4D BIM model was carried out systematically. Microsoft Project-based scheduling and modelling through the educational version of Autodesk Navisworks successfully produced a visual simulation of the project that illustrates the relationship between construction activities and their implementation time. The results show that BIM 4D can improve cross-disciplinary coordination, reduce the risk of delays due to miscommunication, and optimise resource allocation. In addition, the potential for re-work can be minimised as all stages of construction have been thoroughly simulated prior to implementation in the field. Thus, the implementation of BIM 4D is a strategic solution in supporting efficiency, accuracy, and transparency in the implementation of educational building construction projects.

Abstract

Conventional concrete often experiences cracks that can cause a decrease in structural strength and environmental resistance. Self-healing concrete technology is present as an innovative solution by utilizing the biological ability of bacteria to produce calcium carbonate deposits that can close cracks. This study aims to compare the effect of using bacillus megaterium bacteria and bacillus subtilis bacteria in concrete as self-healing concrete agents in repairing micro cracks automatically. The comparison was made on concrete with a design quality of 25 Mpa, 35 Mpa, and 45 Mpa, each of which was given bacillus megaterium bacteria or bacillus subtilis bacteria. The parameters analyzed include resistance or increased compressive strength. In theory, concrete with bacteria has the ability to close cracks automatically and maintain its structural strength compared to conventional concrete. This shows the great potential for the application of self-healing concrete technology in increasing the service life of concrete structures and reducing long-term maintenance costs.

Abstract

Land clearing work is a crucial initial stage in a construction project, as it significantly affects both the schedule and project costs. This study aims to analyze the productivity, implementation time, and operational costs of heavy equipment—specifically excavators and bulldozers—on the Alkhaled Institute development project in Cikembar, Sukabumi. The methods used include field observation (time study), collection of primary and secondary data, and productivity calculations based on cycle time. The results show that the XCMG XE75DA excavator has a productivity rate of 46.91 m³/hour, while the Komatsu D31EX bulldozer reaches 134.74 m³/hour. The estimated duration of work is around 51 days for the excavator and 59 days for the bulldozer, with a total operational cost of Rp 480,196,000.00. This study provides recommendations for

Abstract

Toll road infrastructure development plays a vital role in increasing regional connectivity and logistics movement efficiency. One important element in bridge construction is heavy equipment such as a Crawler Crane, which is used to lift heavy structural components such as Pre-stressed Concrete I-Girders (PCI Girders). This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of Crawler Crane usage in the Jogja-Solo Toll Road construction project Package 1.2 (Klaten – Purwomartani), especially on the Klongkongan River Bridge segment STA 32+300 - 35+640. The research method used is descriptive quantitative with data collection through field observation of lifting cycles, interviews, and documentation study.The results show that the average installation cycle time for PCI Girders using the Crawler Crane is 70 minutes/girder, matching the planned duration. The Schedule Performance Index (SPI) value was 1.00, indicating that the work was completed on schedule. Operational cost savings reached 15.2% of the initially allocated Rp 525,000,000, reducing actual expenses to Rp 445,700,000. This reflects high cost efficiency, indicating that the planning and use of heavy equipment were optimal. The study also provides recommendations to further improve productivity, such as more efficient material rotation schedules and minimizing idle time.
