Abstract

Tujuan penelitian: penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui permainan tradisional yang terdapat di daerah kabupaten Sarolangun serta makna dan manfaat dari permainan-permainan yang terdapat di daerah kabupaten Sarolangun. Metodologi: Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian kualitatif memusatkan pada kegiatan ontologis. Temuan utama: Beberapa pemainan tradisional daerah kabupaten Sarolangun seperti engkek-engkek, adang-adang, patok lele, gasing, layang-layang, main sayak, main buah parah, terompah dari kayu, telepon kaleng, dom/dam, bedil minyak dan tembak bambu. Meskipun terdapat beberapa kesamaan dengan permainan lain tetapi permainan tradisional daerah kabupaten sarolangun memeiliki langkah yang sdikit berbeda baik penamaan maupun aturan dalam permainannya seperti 5 permainan yang peneliti analisis yaitu permainan bedil bambu (bedil minyak), bedil buluh (tembak bambu), permainan daro, patok lele dan permainan dom/dam. Keterbaruan penelitian: Keterbaruan dalam penelitian ini adalah dalam menganalisis permainana tradisional dimana permaianan tradisional dari daerah sarolangun dianalisis sehingga akan diketahui bagaimana permaianan tradisional dengan pendidikan.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui minat belajar siswa terhadap mata pelajaran fisika di SMAN 5 Kabupaten Tebo. Metodologi: Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif untuk mencari hasil deskriptif. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah kelas XII MIPA 1dan XII MIPA 2 di SMA N 5 Tebo. Temuan utama: Hasil dari penelitian ini berdasarkan analisis deskriptif untuk ketertarikan/minat siswa pada mata pelajaran fisika kelas XI MIPA SMAN 5 Tebo tergolong baik Keterbaruan penelitian: Penelitian ini memperkuat penelitian sebelumnya tentang minat siswa terhadap mata pelajaran fisika.

Abstract

Research objectives: This study aims to determine the effect of tolerance on physics learning outcomes for students of class XII science at SMA Negeri 2 Jambi City.Methodology: This research method is descriptive type, with a quantitative research approach. The samples studied were 20 students of class XII IPA 6, 20 respondents of class XII IPA 7, and 20 respondents of class XII IPA 8.Main findings: The results of this study based on hypothesis testing conducted using the correlation test, it was found that the student's tolerance attitude towards physics learning outcomes XII IPA at SMA Negeri 2 Jambi City has a very significant effect, meaning that there is a relationship between tolerance attitudes towards physics learning outcomesResearch novelty: This study reinforces previous research

Abstract

Research objectives: The purpose of this study was to describe the motivation to learn physics in class X MIPA at SMAN 1 Jambi City. Methodology: The data analysis technique used is quantitative analysis using descriptive statistics. The population of this study were students of class X MIPA at SMAN 1 Jambi City. Main findings: The results of this study indicate that the motivation to learn physics in class X MIA at SMAN 1 Jambi City on attitude characteristics is not very good with a score of 25.0 – 45.0 having a percentage of 0%. On the characteristics of bad attitudes with a score of 45.1 - 65.0 have a percentage of 0%, then on the characteristics of quite good with a score of 65.1 - 85.0 have a percentage of 13.9% and on the characteristics of good attitudes with a score of 85.1 - 105 have a percentage of 60.8%, also the last one on the characteristics of attitudes very good with a score of 105.1 – 125 has a percentage of 25.3%. The Novelty of research: This study shows the quality of students in learning physics based on the results of the description of students' motivation in learning physics.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) motivasi belajar siswa kelas X MIPA di SMA N 1 Kota Jambi pada mata pelajaran fisika; (2) hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran fisika kelas X MIPA di SMA N 1 Kota Jambi ; dan (3) hubungan motivasi belajar dengan hasil belajar fisika kelas X MIPA di SMA N 1 Kota Jambi. Metodologi: Metode penelitian ini adalah Mix Methods untuk mencari hasil deskriptif kemudian dilanjutkan dengan uji korelasi sederhana. Sampel dari penelitian ini adalah 57 siswa kelas X MIPA di SMA N 1 Kota Jambi. Temuan utama: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) motivasi belajar siswa memiliki nilai rata-rata sebesar 98.5063; (2) hasil belajar siswa memiliki nilai rata-rata sebesar 70.1754; dan (3) terdapat hubungan antara motivasi belajar dan hasil belajar siswa dengan nilai korelasi sebesar 0.977 yang masuk dalam kategori cukup kuat.. Keterbaruan penelitian: Penelitian ini memperkuat adanya hubungan antara motivasi terhadap hasil belajar, terkhusus pada pelajaran Fisika.

Abstract

Research objectives: This study aims to obtain the results of the analysis of the implementation of the Problem Solving learning model and its correlation to students' critical thinking skills and to see the relationship between the implementation of the model and the critical thinking skills of class XI students of SMKN 3 Jambi City on thermochemical material. Methodology: This research is a correlational type of quantitative research. The sample was determined by a simple random sampling technique by means of a lottery. The research instrument was in the form of an observation sheet consisting of an observation sheet on the implementation of the Problem Solving model and students' critical thinking skills and posttest on student learning outcomes. The data were analyzed to see the correlation between the implementation of the Problem Solving model on students' critical thinking skills by using the Product Moment correlation test and the significance test using the t test. Main findings: The results of the study prove that there is a correlation between the implementation of the Problem Solving model on students' critical thinking skills. The novelty of this research is to represent the relationship of two variables, namely the use of problem solving models with students' critical thinking skills. Novelty This Research: This study shows that the problem solving learning model has a significant relationship with critical thinking skills. Therefore, it is recommended to use this model in learning.

Abstract

Research objectives: This study aims to determine the difference in self-efficacy of students who are treated with Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approaches and direct learning models. Methodology: This type of research is a quantitative descriptive study with a pretest-posttest control group design. The sample in this study was class VIII A with the treatment of Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach and class VIII B with a direct learning model to see its effect on self-efficacy. The instruments in this study were self-efficacy questionnaires and observation sheets. Data analysis was carried out using two-party t-test. Main findings: The results showed that there were differences in self-efficacy between students who were treated with the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach and students who were treated with the direct learning model. So it can be concluded that the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach has a significant influence on students' self-efficacy on function material. The Novelty of research: With this research, it can be used as an alternative in learning mathematics and is able to influence students' self-efficacy in mathematics.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: Students develop according to the nature of nature and the times. This causes the development of the times to have an influence on the development of students. One of the impacts of the current developments is the loss of awareness to love and even know local wisdom in the environment around students. Therefore, the implementation of local wisdom in classroom learning is essential to do. In this study, an evaluation of the response of the educators to the training on the application of the adat bersendi syara' syara' bersendi Kitabullah was carried out in learning. Methodology: This research used a descriptive quantitative method. 20 educators at SMPN 30 Muaro Jambi were the subjects of this study. Main Findings: The results of the research showed that educators had a positive response to the training on applying the adat bersendi syara' syara' bersendi Kitabullah in learning. These results are indicated by the average above 3 in the table. Therefore, it was found that the educators at SMPN 30 Muaro Jambi positively responded to the training on applying the adat bersendi syara' syara' bersendi Kitabullah in learning. Novelty/Originality of this study: The research illustrates that it is essential to conduct cultural-based learning training in schools, especially for teachers. Because it is through education and learning in the classroom that students gain an understanding of the culture around them

Abstract

Purpose of the study: The research aims to analyze the results of the study of cognitive student type compliance personality on solving problem mathematics in Theory geometry and knowing what difficulty student inner compliance type solving problem math. Methodology: Method study this is method study qualitative descriptive. Things analyzed in a study results from learning cognitive students and difficulties students on solving material problem trigonometry subject study student compliance personality in class X senior high school PGRI 2, Jambi City. Instruments used in studying this test compliance personality, sheet duty solving problem math, and transcript interview. Main Findings: The result of study is results study cognitive students good compliance personality, but still many there are difficulties in do questions given, seen from the indicator difficulty learning taken, and indicators results in study cognitive students are taken from bloom taxonomy, average yield study cognitive possession student good compliance personality, this show student compliance personality has aspect good cognitive Novelty/Originality of this study: This use analysis results study cognitive students with type compliance personality on solving problem math.

Abstract

Purpose of research: research on the application of the study model of the group investigation on chemical materials and its impact on the students' critical thinking ability are aimed at seeing how the model is performing on the critical thinking ability of the xii class student at sman 5 city jambi.Methodology: the study is a korelational descriptive study with mixed method mixed method mixed nowadays embedded. Samples were determined by an elementary sampling technique with an expert consideration. Research instruments form an observation sheet for the performance of the model group investigation and student critical thinking ability. The data analysis is performed to see how the gi model's performance of critical thinking capabilities is done with Pearson's bivariate and t-testing. Major findings: gi model performance is categorized well, reviewed by teachers and students at an average of 78.55% and 74.5%. The results of the similarity of the two average data of model accessibility by teachers and students gained thitung = 0.5015 and ttabel = 4.3. Research results prove that the performance of the study model of the group investigation is going well and there is an influence between the performance of the study model group investigation with the students' critical thinking ability on an xii chemical element at the five cities jambi.Research update: this study strengthens a significant impact between gi models on students' critical thinking ability, especially at chemistry lessons.
