Type the English abstract here. Fill abstract or abstract using Times New Roman 11. Abstract The study investigated the causative factors that underpin students' low academic and career interest in ceramics in the Kumasi Metropolis. Three schools made up of one mixed-gender, one all-boys and one all-girls were selected for this study. The study adopted the mixed-methods approach of QUAN+Qual to carry out with its enquiries. Concurrent triangulation of data using questionnaires, interviews, and observation were employed. Participants in the study totaled 273, which consisted of 217 students, 45 teachers, 2 school heads and 9 parents. Four Likert scale-type questionnaires were designed to collect data from the students and teachers. Also, structured interview sessions were held for the school heads and the parents. Frequency and percentage were employed as descriptive statistical tools for analyzing the data collected from the questionnaire and interviews. SPSS v24 and excel spread sheet application facilitated the analysis. The result of the study showed that the Ceramics programme is less prioritized in the majority of the senior high schools, as it was discovered from the investigation that only one of the three schools had a studio facility to enhance teaching and learning. Meanwhile, the study found that the perceptions that there is a low employment opportunity in Ceramics as well as Ceramics being a subject for the low intelligent student were seen as contributing factors to students’ low interest in Ceramics. The study also found that other factors such as scarcity of ceramics text books, the difficulty in obtaining clay for practical activities etc

The analysis identified the types of disruptions that occur, the factors that cause them, and their impact on flight safety and efficiency. These findings are described in detail in the context of the operational situation at the Palembang Branch Office. The research is expected to provide a comprehensive overview of the state of DS communications in the region and suggest ways to overcome or prevent disruptions. The practical implications of this study include recommendations for improving systems, training personnel, and implementing air traffic management policies. In conclusion, this research contributes significantly to enhancing the safety and efficiency of flight operations at Palembang Branch Office. Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out how the Village Officials perform at the Lempe Village Office, South Dampal District, Toli-Toli Regency. The method in this research is descriptive qualitative. The types of data used in this research are primary data and secondary data. The data collection technique in this research is by observation, interviews accompanied by direct documentation. There were 5 informants in this research, namely, the Village Head, Village Secretary, and 3 village residents. According to Suyadi Prawirosentono, the theory used in this research consists of 4 indicators, namely, Effectiveness, Responsibility, Discipline and Initiative. Based on the research results obtained, it can be concluded that the performance of village officials at the Lempe Village Office, South Dampal District, Toli-Toli Regency is quite good. It's just that there are still some things that are still not optimal, such as there are still officers who lack discipline in terms of time discipline. Many officers are late for work and some are found not to be at work during working hours. Lempe Village officials still show a lack of initiative in providing input or ideas or suggestions that are useful for developing progress in the Lempe Village office, this is due to the shame factor of young officials who actually have input, suggestions and ideas but didn't dare to say it.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the implementation of non-communicable disease (PTM) prevention policies at the Sangurara Community Health Center, Palu City. Descriptive qualitative methods are used to explain the implementation of integrated PTM services with a focus on communication, resources, disposition and bureaucratic structure. The research location at the Sangurara Community Health Center was chosen because it will become a training center related to PTM after 2022. Data was obtained through in-depth interviews, field observations and documentation. The research results show that communication still faces obstacles in disseminating policies to the public. Human resources and physical facilities at the Sangurara Community Health Center are considered inadequate, while the disposition of the management and health workers is quite good. The bureaucratic structure shows the existence of SOPs and coordination, although attention needs to be paid to internal communication between units. In conclusion, the implementation of the PTM policy at the Sangurara Community Health Center is going well with obstacles, especially communication and resources. This research provides insight into increasing the effectiveness of PTM policy implementation.

Abstract

The contribution of tools in producing jewellery cannot be over emphasized. In the situation where tools used at the workshop lack the proper place to keep them, they get damaged easily and sometimes not in sight when in need. Production of jewellery items or other forms of work becomes difficult such as tool searching, wrong improvisation of tool usage, time wasting among others when tools are not kept in their proper place. This situation is no different from what the Industrial Art department of the Dr. Hilla Limann Technical University workshop is experiencing. In order to address this problem the study seeks to use Waala and Dagaare indigenous symbols as a source of design concept to produce a customized jewellery tool rack to serve as a jewellery tool keeping device and also enlighten the people on the culture of the Upper West region. This study aimed at identifying and discussing types of tool racks, designing a customized jewellery tool rack using indigenous symbols as the source of idea and producing a customized jewellery tool rack. Descriptive survey and studio-based research approaches were used to outline the processes and methods applied in the study. Purposive and simple random sampling techniques were used to sample jewellery and metal design students (30), technicians (5), lecturers (10), and metal design fabricators (20). A total of 65 participants responded to this study. There were five different indigenous symbols integrated in the final production. Doming, embossing, repousse, piercing, chasing, forging and welding were the fabrication processes employed in this study which were unique in terms of tool rack fabrication. The material used was a combination of aluminum sheet, ungalvanised square pipe and zinc sheet. The study recommends indigenous symbols from different cultures to be used for this type of jewellery tool rack and other much needed items in the workshop so as to give attention to the symbols and in return preserve our culture. Academic institutions should give attention to safe keeping of tools for efficient use by using tool racks purposely for specific tools. Exploration of other materials and techniques for new outcome was also recommended.

Abstract

The aspects of the problem studied by the author are regarding the economic impact of illegal gold mining according to the economic concept of sustainable development and maqashid sharia. The aim of this research was to determine the economic impact of illegal gold mining according to the economic concept of sustainable development and maqashid sharia. The analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative research methods. Qualitative methods are research procedures that produce descriptive data in the form of written or spoken words from people or observable behavior. Descriptive research is a research method that describes all the data or conditions of the research subject or object, then analyzed and compared based on the current reality and then tries to provide a solution to the problem and can provide up-to-date information so that it is useful for the development of science and more can be applied to a variety of problems. The results of the research show that this illegal gold mining produces results very quickly compared to previous work, namely farming and other things, and the results obtained are very promising and able to fulfill the family economy, people who take part in mining activities can earn Rp. 600,000-Rp. 800,000 per the week. Mining may be carried out as long as the community considers the interests of the public good, does not cause damage and is environmentally friendly. The community has the perception that the existence of illegal gold mines in Batang Natal District brings benefits and increases the welfare of the local community because the existence of the Unlicensed Gold Mining (PETI) location has become a new job opportunity for people who do not have permanent jobs. The positive impact felt by the surrounding community is of course the creation of new jobs for miners. The negative impact of gold mining which is felt almost every day by the community around the mining area is water pollution.
