Abstract

The increasing level of moral decadence among the people of South-East Nigeria necessitated the study to determine innovative practices being applied by business educators to improve societal values in the area. Two research questions guided the study and four null hypotheses were tested. Descriptive survey research design was adopted for the study. The entire population of 215 business educators in all public tertiary institutions in the area was studied without sampling as the researchers were able to manage the size. A validated Likert scale questionnaire containing 24 items in two clusters was used for data collection. The instrument was tested for reliability and an overall reliability coefficient value of 0.76 was obtained. Data collected were analyzed using the arithmetic mean to answer the research questions and standard deviation to determine how homogenous the respondents were in their views. ANOVA was used to test the null hypotheses at 0.05 level of significance. Findings revealed that the subjects apply the two innovative practices in the study at a great extent. The respondents differed significantly in their extent of application of social responsibility principles as a result of educational attainment and experience but did not in ICT competencies. Based on the findings, it was concluded that the business educators were applying innovative principles that could lead to improved societal values and that if lectures in other fields follow suit, graduates of tertiary educational institutions would demonstrate appropriate values to reduce the level of moral decadence. Consequently, it was recommended that management of tertiary educational institutions in the area and governments should encourage the business educators and lecturers in other fields of learning to widely apply innovative practices for improved societal values by adequately providing instructional resources and sponsoring them to seminars, conferences and short courses to acquire the relevant skills and competencies.

Abstract

The goal of this study is to find out how satisfied faculty members at Bulacan Agricultural State College are with their jobs. Work environment, rank and employment status, faculty adequacy and loading, pay, fringe benefits and incentives, faculty development, and peer communication are all regarded motivating variables that have an impact on job satisfaction. The survey instrument was completed by 139 faculty members out of a total population of 186, which comprised both permanent and contract-based status academics. It seeks to get insights into the mean job satisfaction ratings of faculty respondents based on a survey. The study showed that the faculty members are generally satisfied with their current circumstances, though the college should consider factors such as training and development that will enable faculty to perform their current jobs effectively and prepare for future assignments, particularly now that the school environment is shifting to a new school environment as the new normal due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The researchers may have concluded that the college should focus more on motivating and maintaining these human resources in order to make them happier and to maximize their efforts by assuring the college's overall greatness.

Abstract

When we talk about reading comprehension, we talk about understanding what we read from a text, it allows us to be analytical, reflective and interact, it is very interesting, really, but in reality we understand what we read, in these moments that we are living the habit is strengthening of reading in students with or without special SEN. One of the problems of today that we find many anomalies, students do not understand what they read and we can say that they do not like reading since teachers and representatives find ourselves between a rock and a hard place. It is important to look for strategies to teach students to love reading and understand that a child who reads will in the future be an adult who thinks to do good with society as defined by complexity and complex thinking that both are related to improve to the investigation of science and to sensitize humanity and allows us to go further to discover that through reading there is a new world

Abstract

Since 21st century began over two decades ago, there seems to be a paradigm shift in educational values across the globe. This has left us with the options of either to swim or sink. In order not to sink, educational systems of most countries of   the world began to rethink educational practices in order to remain relevant in this knowledge economy and communication technology driven age. Up to the advent of the twenty-first century, education systems around the world concentrated on training their students to simply acquire content and knowledge. Students were therefore seen as needing to learn reading and numerical skills in order to acquire content and information. But more recently, information and knowledge have become widely available and simple to obtain because of advances in technology and communication. Business education has been thought to be an instructional model that instills in its client the necessary applicable skills, talents, and competencies for independence. Even though these abilities are still vital and relevant, but are no more enough to keep degree holders employed in the volatile and competitive economy. As a result, there is a massive disparity between the information and expertise that students gain in university and those that they would need succeed in quintessential 21st century cultures and organizations. It is necessary to modify toward offering learners a set of abilities that depended not just on intellect but on all interrelatedness of mental, behavioral, and affective traits if we are to react appropriately to these contemporary innovation, target audience, and cultural transformations. In considering this, the paper examined the concepts of 21st century education, 21st century learning objectives, the concept of business education, and the communication technological skills in 21st century required of graduates. Also, conclusions and key recommendations were offered.

Abstract

One of the factors that influence the success of an organization's business is the management of information technology (IT) infrastructure that is run well, the Information Technology Literacy as a provider of IS/IT products and services must have the ability to do so. This research consists of two types of research, namely correlation research which will examine the relationship between internal customer satisfaction and seven independent variables. Results of correlation analysis showed that there was a significant effect positive between internal customer satisfaction with seven variable quality of the products and services of IS/IT (reject H 0 hypothesis 1) and there is significant influence positively the quality of the products and services of IS / IT to the perception of improved performance internal customers (reject H 0 in hypothesis 2). The average value of the satisfaction dependent variable is 3.326 and the dependent variable is the perception of increased internal customer performance: 3,430 which means that internal customers currently feel quite satisfied and feel a sufficient increase in their performance after receiving and using the IS/IT products and services provided. by the Information System Service Bureau at STT-PLN . The results of the Mann-Whitney analysis reject H 0 in hypothesis 3, in other words there are significant differences in the assessment of performance aspects between internal customers and IT personnel on the performance of the IT Literacy. Aspects that include: response to problems, development of IS and viruses.
