Abstract

In the concept of digital marketing, keeping up with technological developments is considered important in improving the economy of MSMEs (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises). Relationship variables consisting of social media (X1), unemployment (X2), and changes in consumer behavior (X3) are factors that are considered to affect the economy of MSMEs in Medan Kota District. This quantitative study aims to determine the effect between variables. A total of 101 respondents from MSMEs in Medan Kota District were collected and recorded and then processed using the PLS (Partial Least Square) approach using the SmartPLS software. The results show that social media, unemployment, changes in consumer behavior affect and play an important role in MSMEs

Abstract

This research was conducted at the secretariat of the DPRD of North Sumatra Province, where the purpose of this study was to determine the extent to which job description, discipline and work ethics, both partially and simultaneously affect the work performance of employees within the secretariat of the DPRD of North Sumatra Province. This study used quantitative methods, where the population in this study was 46 employees, and the sample taken was as much as 100% of the total population because the number was not up to 100 people. The results of this research show that partially the job description variable (X1) and work ethic variable (X3) have a significant effect on employee work performance within the secretariat of the DPRD of North Sumatra Province (Y), with a t calculate value of 2.194 and a significance level value of 0.003 smaller than 0.05 partially the job description (X1) has a significant effect on the work performance of employees within the secretariat of the DPRD of North Sumatra Province (Y), and a t calculated value of 3.835 and a significant level of 0.000 smaller than 0.05 partially work ethics (X3) has a significant effect on the work performance of employees within the secretariat of the DPRD of North Sumatra Province (Y).  Meanwhile, simultaneously, both job description (X1), discipline (X2) and work ethics (X3) have a significant effect on the work performance of employees within the secretariat of the DPRD of North Sumatra Province, with a F calculated value of 7,351 and a significant level value of 0.000 less than 0.05

Abstract

Problem of this study what is influence of  empowerment on performance. What is influence of self efficacy on performance. What is influence of  organization culture on  performance. What is influence  empowerment, self efficacy and  organization culture on   performance. The purpose of this study to determine and analyze the effect of  empowerment on   performance. Determine and analyze the effect of   self efficacy on  performance. Determine and analyze the effect of  organization culture on  performance. Determine and analyze the effect of   empowerment,  self efficacy and  organization culture on   performance.  Sample in the study is 34 employees. Data analysis techniques used in this study is descriptive analyze and multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study indicate  empowerment variable has a positive and significant effect on performance.  self efficacy variable has a positive and significant effect on  performance. Abstract

At the time of the Prophet Muhammad, the mosque was used as a center for Muslim activities, such as the center of worship, government, politics and the economy. Economic institutions located in the mosque environment will be the safest investment places. It can be seen the physical construction of the mosque which is increasingly magnificent and beautiful, and the crowds of the community if inviting the popular Da'I. This can be more useful in a more productive way, namely by collaborating with MSMEs in the mosque environment to open up the widest possible employment opportunities. The COVID-19 pandemic has had an impact on the MSME sector, which has experienced a decline in marketing due to the difficult economy. In addition, it also causes social impacts such as in4creasing unemployment and children dropping out of school. So it is necessary that the Mosque Economic Institute can be a support in the economy. The research method uses descriptive qualitative methods through interviews (interviews), field surveys, and documentation. The place of research is a mosque in Medan Municipality. The results of the study are recommendations to the Medan City Government and build a Mosque-Based Economic Institution Model in accordance with Mission 1 Medan Berkah, Program 3: Aid for Houses of Worship and Activation of Economic Institutions/Cooperatives for Houses of Worship Target Number 3 Establishment of an economic economic institution for the people assisted by the Medan City Government.

Abstract

Restaurant Tax is a tax on services provided by restaurants. Restaurant Tax managed by the Regional Tax and Retribution Management Agency (BPPRD) of Medan City is a Regional Tax that can have a positive impact on increasing Regional Original Income (PAD) because there are more restaurants in the area. Medan city. The research method uses the Quantitative Analysis method, using this method to analyze the data for comparison to the results of calculations research. The results can be seen that the rate of increase in the growth of the restaurant business in Medan City which is registered with the Medan City Regional Tax and Retribution Manager from 2011 to 2020 is quite volatile, where the influence of Taxpayers, Per capita Income, Population has a positive effect on Medan City Restaurant Tax receipts

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Rice Production, Rice Consumption, Domestic Rice Prices, Foreign Rice Prices, Exchange Rates and Rice Stocks either partially or simultaneously on Rice Imports in Indonesia. The data are sourced from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), Bank Indonesia, and the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI). The results of the partial significance test show that the rice production variable has an insignificant negative effect on the variable amount of rice imports. The price of rice has an insignificant negative effect on the variable amount of rice imports, the price effect on rice imports is not significant because rice is a staple item that people want or not to continue to consume, the variable rice consumption has a positive and insignificant effect on the variable amount of rice imports. Simultaneous significance test is known that rice production, rice price and rice consumption variables simultaneously have no significant effect on the variable amount of rice imports because the probability value is value. It is necessary to understand that North Sumatra has many rice granaries, although North Sumatra has to import rice, this is only temporary, for example before religious celebrations or when some rice granaries experience crop failure. The results of the determination test showed that variations in rice production variables, rice prices and rice consumption had an effect of 30.4% and the remaining 69.6% were influenced by other variables that were not examined, such as climate change which made North Sumatra fail to harvest and lack of rice stocks, increased demand. North Sumatran rice on religious holidays such as Eid and New Year, the rupiah exchange rate against foreign currencies, population, North Sumatra's per capita income, and others.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini mengambarkan tentang model transformasi budaya lokal dalam pelayanan publik. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data adalah pengamatan, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumen. Pengamatan dilakukan terutama yang berkaitan dengan obyek penelitian, seperti Rumah Sakit dan Puskesmas. Wawancara mendalam  kepada petugas rumah sakit atau puskesmas sebagai informan, teknik dokumentasi mengumpulkan dokumen berupa berita-berita, peraturan-peraturan yang berkaitan dengan pelayanan kesehatan di Kabupaten Jayapura. Teknik analisis adalah reduksi data, penyajian data, danm penarikan kesimpulan/verifikasi. Hasil penelitian bahwa tantangan yang dihadapi oleh tenaga medis maupun non medis di Kabupaten Jayapura adalah kurangnya pengetahuan pasien (masyarakat) tentang prosedur kesehatan. Hal ini dipengaruhi tingkat pendidikan masyarakat masih tergolong rendah.Nilai-nilai budaya lokal yang diimplementasikan oleh pegawai puskesmas karena dilatarbelakangi oleh interaksi sosial antara masyarakat dan pegawai puskesmas untuk dapat diterima oleh seluruh lapisan masyarakat yang ada di Kabupaten Jayapura. Transformasi ini sepenuhnya mengadopsi nilai-nilai budaya lokal papua, yang kemudian budaya lokal tersebut bertransformasi menjadi budaya birokrasi. Budaya lokal menjadi kekuatan untuk melayani masyarakat, karena masyarakat papua masih sangat dipengaruhi oleh budaya lokal papua dimana masyarakat terutama ibu-ibu belum melek terhadap literasi kesehatan

Abstract

The level of consumer involvement in a product purchase can be influenced by the response of a stimulus or stimulus which is generally based on several factors such as product quality. The purpose of writing this study is to describe consumer perceptions of the quality of Vivo products. This research uses quantitative descriptive analysis methods with a sample of 85 people who are students of the management study program of Universitas Potensi Utama. Data collection techniques in this study with questionnaires presented using Likert Scale. The results of this study show that durability is the quality of Vivo products that are considered the weakest. In terms of features, Vivo cameras are also still considered unable to meet the expectations of respondents. In terms of serviceability, Vivo's repair is considered faster and easier than other products. In terms of aesthetics, Vivo's display of both design and color is considered capable of attracting consumers to buy.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of inflation and interest rates on stock prices partially or simultaneously. The research was conducted on Banking Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange.  The population in the study is a Banking Company Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Determination of the number of samples in this study using the samnpel selection table so as to obtain a total sample of 36 companies. Partially the Inflation and Interest Rate variables have an influence on the Stock Price variable. Both partially and simultaneously. Simultaneously the effect of Inflation and Interest Rates on Stock Prices is 39.1% and the rest is influenced by other variables not proposed in this study

Abstract

The research conducted by the author aims to find out and analyze the determination of the cost of production based on the Activity Based Costing (ABC) method at Akbar Jaya Bakery and to find out whether the management at Akbar Jaya Bakery can carry out a more accurate analysis of the volume of sales required for decision making using the method Activity Based Costing (ABC). The results showed that the calculation of the Cost of Production Using the Activity Based Costing Method was more accurate and profitable compared to the traditional method, because the Activity Based Costing Method yielded smaller results compared to the Traditional Method so that the company could reconsider the method used in determining its Cost of Production.
