This study aims to determine (physico-chemical) parameters of water and also community structure of plankton surface in natural tourism Labuan Cermin Biduk-Biduk, Berau, Kalimantan Timur. This study used Purposive Sampling method. Data obtained shows in plankton abundance, diversity index, evenness index and dominance index. The result of study showed that range of temperature between 24,04 oC -26,88 oC, range of salinity between 0.25-0.87o/oowhich classified in freshwater-brackish water, range of power flow between 1.121-2.930 m/s which classified in moderate level, the average pH between 6,76-7,48 which classified in neutral level, range of TDS betweenÂ 514-788 mg/L which classified in normal level, respectively. Plankton sample showed 27 classes including of 22 classes of phytoplankton with 57 genera and 5 classes of zooplankton with 10 genera. The highest total plankton abundances ofÂ 35917 ind/L is in Station A and the lowest total plankton abundances of 8330 ind/L is in Station F. Keywords: Plankton, Labuan Cermin, Â Diversity.

This study aims to: (1) develop android based Â magnet learning media in Physics Education Study Program; (2) to know the feasibility of learning media of Magnet Power based on androiddi of Physics Education Program. This research is a research and development (R & D) which refers to the model proposed by Thiagarajan by using 4-D model (Four-D Models) which consists of four stages, namely: define, design stage, development (develop), and dissemination stage (disseminate). The feasibility of android-based learning media is validated by material experts and media experts. Based on the result of data analysis, it is concluded that (1) the learning media of Android-based Magnet Electricity in Physics Education Study Program successfully developed with 4-D (Four-D Models) model that is define, design, develop, and disseminate. (2) learning media of Magnet Power based on android in Physics Education Study Program developed feasible to use with very good Â category.Keywords: Learning Media, Magnet Electricity, Android.

This research aims to increase the active participation of students through lesson study courses in the geometry of space subject. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive study with the subject is the class A students of the fourth semesterÂ in academic year 2015/2016 who are in the geometry of spaces subject with the number of students are 35. The instruments used are observation sheets of the students' active participation and documentation in the form of photographs and videos. The research procedures based on the stages of the lesson study were 3 cycles in which each cycle consisting of the activity plan, do, and see. This study shows that the results of learning process with the lesson study designed by the model lecturer and the observer can increase the students' active participation, particularly on the subjects of geometry of space. Guided discovery learning is a learning that invites students to actively discover the concept / knowledge through a series of activities. Guided discovery learning can be integrated in teaching modules to make learning more effective and self-reliant. This study aimed to integrate guided discovery learning in spermatophyta module for biology education students. This research is an explorative research with stages include curriculum analysis, subject matter analysis, learning model analysis, and integration of learning model in the Module. Data source in the form of book document, expert opinion, and spermatophyta module. Data analysis used qualitative descriptive analysis. Based on the analysis result, it is found that guided discovery guided discovery integrated in module include stimulation, problem statement, data collection, verification, generalization . The guided discovery guided synthesis is integrated into 3 subspaces on spermatophyta material 1) classification, determination, and nomenclature of plants, 2) spermatophyta (seed plants); 3) high plant herbarium. Integration of guided discovery learning on unified modules integrated in the module component of learning activities.Keywords: Guided discovery, Spermatophyta Module

This research background was by low motivation to learn mathematics in the classroom. This classroom action research is aimed to improve the motivation to learn mathematics of VIII grade SMP Negeri 3 Kubu. Classroom action research done in two cycles with 30 students. Techniques of collecting data is observation by researchers and collaborators. The data was analyzed qualitatively with the data source from the observer. The success of the model Cooperative script in declared successful, less successful or unsuccessful. Motivation indicators defined by the researchers themselves with â‰¥ 60% of students motivated. Indicators of motivation in this research there are four, namely: 1). Responsible, 100% 2). Challenges, 70%, 3). Inovatif, 63%, 4). Competitive, 80%. Thereby motivating student learning using Cooperative learning model type of script can improve mathematics learning in the classroom.Keywords: Student motivation, learning models Cooperative script.

The aim of this study is to know about the quality of the waters from the structure of community and level of diversity plankton on three zones vertically with variety salinity on labuan cermin, at Biduk-biduk, Kalimantan Timur. The sample is taken by used method purposive sampling. The data acquired and showed in profusion plankton form, index abundance, index diversity, index evenness, and index dominance. The plankton has found during the research is 79 genera classified in 46 family and 13 class. The index abundant is on station A is the highest than the other station. On the average of index diversity of station A higher than station B and C in value about 2,3026. Index evenness revolve from 0,1870 to 0,8281. Index dominance revolve about 0,1171 to 0,7885. This aims this study is to obtain objective information about the learning outcome after implementation of type STAD cooperative learning model on basic statistics course in third semester of PAPK Program in Biology Education. In addition, this study develop students?s ability to understand in working together to solve and resolve the problem. The samples of study were third semester students in PAPK program who follow the Basic Statistics course in Biology Education Departement of PMIPA FKIP Untan 2016-2017. Implementation in the data presentation focused on the subject matter, size and placement of the central symptoms.The data collection conducted in providing achievement test after being given treatment. Form of test is essay with 2 questions which consist of 13 questions. The results showed if the type STAD cooperative learning model is one model that could improve student?s outcome on the subject presentation of the data, the size of the placement and symptoms in statistics basic course.Keyword: STAD cooperative learning model

This research aims to investigate the effects of expiremental learning using software PhET for student learning outcomes reviewed by learning independence student. The research is quasy experimental design, with factorial design 2x3. The research samples are the student of XA as the experimental class and the student of XB as the control class. The instruments were test for colecting data of learning outcome and the questionnaire for colecting data of learning indepence student. The result it can be concluded that: 1) There are difference of result of learning outcomes of implementation by experimental learning using software PhET and by conventional learning, the result of learning outcomes of implementation by experimental learning using software PhET better than of result of learning by conventional learning; 2) There are difference of result of learning outcomes in groups of students who have high, medium and low learning independence; 3) There is no interaction beetween learning methods and learning independence on student learning outcomes.Keywords: experimental learning, software PhET, learning outcomes, learning independence.

This study aims to identified pollen morphology of Mangrove vegetation in Salo Palai Village, Muara Badak Sub District, Kutai Kartanegara District was done in May until July. This study using acetolisis method. Data obtained were analyzed with qualitative descriptive method to observed the shape, ornaments and also aperture. This method is measuring size, the length of the polar axis to the equatorial diameter. The result obtained shape and pollen unit is monad subspheroidal. There are size medium pollen and size large pollen. The ornaments including of 7 psilate, 2 reticulate and 2 ekinate. The aperture including of 4 inaperture, 2 tricolporate, 1 tricolpate, 1 triporate, 1 tetraporate, 1 monoporate and 1 stephanocolporate.Keywords: Vegetation, Mangrove, Pollen, Association, Identification.
