Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan bahan ajar mata kuliah belajar dan pembelajaran berbasis konstruktivis yang valid dan efektif. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan model pengembangan 3-D, yaitu  define, design, dan develop. Uji validitas di analisis menggunakan uji proporsi, sedangkan hasil tes uji coba di analisis menggunakan uji reliabilitas dan uji proporsi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) bahan ajar dinyatakan valid oleh validator dengan skor rata-rata 3,53 dan 3,26 dari skor maksimal 4. (2) Analisis hasil uji coba menunjukkan bahwa uji coba tersebut reliabel dan tingkat kelulusan mahasiswa 82,86% dan 94,44%, dengan demikian maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa produk efektif.  Kata kunci: bahan ajar, konstruktivisme, 3-D

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis mahasiswa semester IV kelas A Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika, Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto tahun akademik 2014/2015 pada mata kuliah Geometri Transformasi dengan media berbantu program geogebra. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam penelitian tindakan kelas yang meliputi tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran menggunakan media geogebra berhasil untuk meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis mahasiswa. Peningkatan ini terlihat dari hasil observasi dan angket mahasiswa. Rata-rata peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi lisan dari siklus I ke III yaitu sebesar 0,15, sedangkan rata-rata peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi tertulis dari siklus I ke III yaitu 0,11.Kata kunci: geogebra, penelitian tindakan kelas, komunikasi matematis

Abstract

ABSTRACT: The space geometry is one of the major subjects, which must be taken by the students of the mathematics education. The aim of the courses is to make students are able to master the form geometry in three dimensions. Competencies must be mastered include the ability to draw space, the ability to draw the slice field, and the ability to determine the extents of the slice field. Based on the competencies, the material of the space geometry was not an easy matter to be mastered by students. Students needed their imagination to visualize the shape, which came from the two-dimensional images shaped into a three dimensional or vice versa. These difficulties did not only occur on the students, but also the mathematics teachers, who had the learning process in the schools. This research belonged to qualitative descriptive study, in which the subject of this research was the class A second semester students of Mathematics Education Study Program of UMP (Muhammadiyah University of Purwokerto) in Central Java, Indonesia, in academic year 2015/2016, which belonged to the class of the shape geometry. The instruments which were used were the observation sheet and the documentation in the form of photographs or videos. The research procedures consisted of the steps in the lesson study in 3 cycles. Each cycle consisted of plan, do, and see steps. Abstract

Strategi penggunaan teknologi dalam pembelajaran dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran berupa game edukasi yang diintegrasikan dalam pembelajaran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh informasi tentang kebutuhan game edukasi, persepsi terhadap game edukasi dan format sajian game edukasi menurut guru dan peserta didik. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah survey untuk mengetahui data awal yang merupakan proses dari pengembangan produk game edukasi. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar angket dan lembar wawancara. Teknik analisis data yang akan digunakan adalah teknik analisis statistik deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Sekolah yang dijadikan sampel penelitian adalah 15 sekolah yang tersebar di Kabupaten Banyumas. Masing-masing sekolah dipilih 4 guru yaitu 2 guru IPA dan 2 guru Matematika. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru dan siswa di SMP Kab. Banyumas memiliki persepsi yang baik terhadap game edukasi MIPA. Kebutuhan game edukasi menurut guru adalah game berisi soal evaluasi dan simulasi sedangkan game bertipe petualangan dibutuhkan oleh siswa. Format game edukasi yang dikembangkan harus memperhatikan aspek tampilan, konten dan keterjangkauan game, sedangkan menurut siswa game yang disusun sebaiknya menantang dan menarik. Needs Analysis of MIPA Educational Game. Using digital educational game is one of strategy to integrate learning by technology. The purpose of this study is to find out information about the need for educational games and educational game format according to teachers and students.  The survey was applied in this research. The school that was used as research sample was 15 schools. The instruments used are questionnaires and interview sheets. The questionnaires were validated regarding content and construct by experts. The quantitative descriptive analysis was used to analyze the results of questionnaires while qualitative descriptive analysis was used to analyze the results of the interview. The results of the study show that teachers and students in junior high school in Banyumas have a good perception of educational games MIPA. The need for educational games according to the teachers are evaluation games and simulation while students require the type of adventure game. According to teachers, the educational game format should pay attention to the display, content and affordability aspects of the game, whereas according to the students the compiled games should be challenging and exciting.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan kemampuan pemahaman konsep mahasiswa dalam pembuatan rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Jenis penelitiannya adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Subyek penelitian adalah mahasiswa pendidikan matematika yang mengambil mata kuliah Dasar Proses Pembelajaran Matematika Semester III Kelas A Tahun Ajaran 2017/2018. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu tes dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa mahasiswa dengan kemampuan prestasi rendah masih mengalami kekuarangan dalam kemampuan mengklasifikasikan objek-objek berdasarkan persyaratan yang membentuk konsep penyusun RPP. Kekurangan tersebut yaitu pada unsur susunan secara keseluruhan, identitas RPP, kompetensi inti, kompetensi dasar, indikator, media pembelajaran, kegiatan pendahuluan, dan kegiatan inti.

Abstract

This research aims to increase the active participation of students through lesson study courses in the geometry of space subject. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive study with the subject is the class A students of the fourth semester  in academic year 2015/2016 who are in the geometry of spaces subject with the number of students are 35. The instruments used are observation sheets of the students' active participation and documentation in the form of photographs and videos. The research procedures based on the stages of the lesson study were 3 cycles in which each cycle consisting of the activity plan, do, and see. This study shows that the results of learning process with the lesson study designed by the model lecturer and the observer can increase the students' active participation, particularly on the subjects of geometry of space. Abstract

The study aimed to improve the skills of students mathematical connections and self-efficacy for grade VII D of SMP N 3 Sidareja in the 2018/2019 academic year through CORE (Connecting, Organizing, Reflecting, and Extending) learning on the topic of triangles and rectangles. The study was conducted in three cycles and each cycle consisted of planning, action, observation, evaluation, and reflection stages. The instrument used was a description test to measure the skills of students' mathematical connections given at the end of each cycle, while the instrument used to measure self-efficacy was self-efficacy questionnaire. Based on the findings, each cycle obtained an improvement. The first cycle obtained mathematical connection skills by an average of 64.74, 77.24 in the second cycle, and 81.41 in the third cycle. The average results of students self-efficacy in grade VII D in the first the cycle was 69.67, 76.05 in the second cycle, and 79.85 in the third cycle. Based on the data above, it can be drawn that there was an improvement of students' mathematical connection skills and self-efficacy from cycle I to cycle II and from cycle II to cycle III through CORE learning (Connecting, Organizing, Reflecting, and Extending).

Abstract

Geometri merupakan ilmu matematika yang berisi materi-materi abstrak, bagi siswa yang memiliki kemampuan abstraksi rendah maka ia akan mengalami kesulitan dalam belajar. Kesulitan tersebut berdampak pada kondisi siswa di dalam kelas, seperti pasif dalam belajar, kurang produktif, ketertarikan belajar menurun, dan motivasi belajar siswa rendah. Untuk itu, perlu adanya suatu media yang dapat menggambarkan materi geometri dalam bentuk lebih real dan mampu meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa. Program-program komputer yang dapat digunakan sebagai media tersebut diantaranya adalah program Geogebra dan Casyopee. Kelebihan dari Geogebra dan Casyopee adalah dapat memvisualisasikan materi-materi geometri. Dengan kemampuan visualisasi yang lengkap maka program-program ini diindikasikan dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan penalaran matematissiswa melalui pembelajaran generative.Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Muhammadiyah Kaliwiro tahun pelajaran 2016/2017.Jenis penelitian ini adalah adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam 3 siklus.Tahapan pada setiap siklusnya meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, refleksi.Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengukur kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa menggunakan tes uraian yang diberikan pada setiap akhir siklus. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh data sebagai berikut : pada siklus I penalaran matematis siswa memperoleh rata-rata 52,25. Pada siklus II kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa memperoleh rata-rata 62,5. Pada siklus III kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa memperoleh rata-rata 72,5. Penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa melalui penerapan pembelajaran generative kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa meningkat.
