Abstract

The security service industry is increasingly adopting Artificial Intelligence (AI) to enhance surveillance accuracy, operational efficiency, and decision-making processes. Despite its benefits, AI adoption in this sector raises significant concerns related to ethical responsibility, governance, and stakeholder trust. This study examines the role of strategic governance, leadership integrity, and stakeholder engagement in shaping responsible AI adoption within the security service industry.A quantitative research approach was employed using survey data collected from employees across different managerial levels and functional units within a security service organization. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression after meeting validity, reliability, and classical assumption requirements. The results indicate that strategic governance, leadership integrity, and stakeholder engagement each have a positive and statistically significant effect on responsible AI adoption. Leadership integrity emerges as the most influential factor, highlighting the importance of ethical leadership behavior in guiding responsible technology use.

Abstract

This study examines the representative functions of the Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) in poverty alleviation through a collaborative governance approach in Tasikmalaya Regency. The research is motivated by the persistence of formalistic representation practices that have not thoroughly reflected the substantive interests of impoverished communities. Within the framework of decentralized and collaborative governance, the DPRD is expected not only to perform its legislative, budgeting, and oversight functions procedurally, but also to actively facilitate cross-actor collaboration in public policy processes. This study employs a qualitative approach using a case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis involving DPRD members, local government officials, and civil society actors. The findings indicate that the representative function of the DPRD in poverty alleviation has not been optimally implemented due to institutional constraints, internal political dynamics, and weak collaborative mechanisms with non-government actors. Collaborative governance remains largely normative and has yet to be fully institutionalized in poverty alleviation policies. These findings underscore the importance of strengthening the DPRD's representative function through a more inclusive and substantive collaborative governance model to enhance local poverty alleviation efforts.

Abstract

Early Childhood Education (ECE) constitutes a critical foundation for lifelong learning, human development, and social well-being. The early years of life, typically spanning from birth to eight years, are marked by rapid neurological growth and heightened responsiveness to environmental influences. This book chapter presents a comprehensive examination of Early Childhood Education by situating it within historical, theoretical, pedagogical, and policy-oriented perspectives. Drawing upon established developmental theories and contemporary research, the chapter highlights the role of quality early learning experiences in fostering cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. It further explores child-centered pedagogical practices, curriculum design, assessment approaches, and the integral roles of teachers and families in early learning environments. The chapter also critically addresses persistent challenges such as inequitable access, inadequate teacher preparation, limited resources, and gaps between policy and practice. Emphasis is placed on the long-term educational and socio-economic benefits of investing in Early Childhood Education. The chapter concludes by underscoring the necessity of sustained policy commitment, professional development, and inclusive practices to strengthen Early Childhood Education systems and promote equitable developmental outcomes for all children.

Abstract

This study explores the diversity of musical genres is a multidimensional phenomenon in the realm of musical arts that reflects the systematic heterogeneity of musical styles, forms, and practices that develop in various cultural, historical, and social contexts. In a theoretical-musical perspective, this diversity is reflected through the differentiation of basic elements of music: such as melody, harmony, rhythm, timbre, texture, form, and dynamics that form the idiomatic characteristics of each genre. This study aims to examine the diversity of HKBP church music genres used in performing songs in Sunday services, to examine the choice of musical genres used in church services in HKBP and to examine church policies towards HKBP church music. The method used is descriptive qualitative with a phenomenological approach, supported by observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The theories used include the Theory of Music Diversity, the Theory of Cultural Contact and the Theory of Music Management. The results of the study show that the diversity of musical genres has undergone significant changes in the musical structure of each HKBP church, the use of modern instruments, but still maintains traditional elements such as hymn music (organ). The new music style (genre) that was formed was the result of Cultural Contact of HKBP church musicians with the demands of the times, the tastes of musicians or congregations and contemporary performance spaces. The music policy in each HKBP church is different because the musicians in each church are not trained and practices in the field are different, the leadership of the Pastor in the church does not all understand HKBP church music. For musicians accompanying Sunday services in HKBP churches, knowing the many music genres is due to the freedom to appreciate playing music because there is no written HKBP music policy but the policy exists through Oral Tradition. This study contributes to the development of HKBP church music policies that are adaptive to cultural and generational contexts, while preserving the roots of Lutheran liturgical tradition.

Abstract

The boycott movement has become an increasingly powerful social phenomenon in Indonesia, especially when linked to moral, political, and religious issues. This study aims to explore how boycott movements interact with religious agriculture in shaping consumer purchasing decisions, particularly for agricultural and food products. This study uses a mixed-methods approach with a convergent design, combining surveys to provide an overview of relationships among variables and in-depth interviews to understand consumer motivations and considerations better. The results show that participation in boycotts is influenced by ethical awareness, socio-religious solidarity, and exposure to information through social media. Meanwhile, agricultural religiosity reinforces preferences for halal, sustainable products that support local producers. These findings confirm that purchasing decisions are not only economic in nature but also reflect consumers' religious identities and moral attitudes.

Abstract

Kashmir Valley has long been celebrated as a timeless tourist destination, attracting travelers, pilgrims, scholars, and rulers across centuries. This qualitative study explores the historical evolution of tourism in the Kashmir Valley by examining travel accounts, historical texts, cultural traditions, and heritage sites. From ancient times, Kashmir served as a center of spiritual pilgrimage, learning, and natural retreat, drawing visitors due to its scenic landscapes, sacred shrines, and rich cultural life. During the medieval period, Sufi traditions, Mughal patronage, and artistic developments further enhanced the valley’s appeal. In the colonial and post-colonial eras, Kashmir emerged as a prominent leisure destination, shaping modern tourism infrastructure while retaining its historical charm. The study highlights how geography, culture, spirituality, and hospitality collectively contributed to Kashmir’s enduring tourist identity. By emphasizing continuity and transformation, the paper underscores the historical depth of tourism in Kashmir Valley and its significance in understanding the region’s cultural and economic heritage.
