Abstract

This research analysis the factors’ that determine the foreign directinvestment (FDI) in ASEAN’s countries especially Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippine and Thailand during 1990-2009. Multinational Enterprises’ (MNE) must decideto choose a locationfor relocating its’ factory by market seeking dan resources seeking strategy. Based on this statement, it can be obtained the regression equation with foreign direct investment is a function of market size, worker’s productivity and infrastructure of road. Statistical data of UNESCAP was used in this research. The regression was base on the panel data model, while the estimation was based on common effects model. This results showthat the market size, worker’s productivity and availability of infrastructure road could be an importance consideration for MNE’s in their choice for FDI.Keywords: foreign direct investment, market size, worker’s productivity, infrastructure of road

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to examine  whether credit risk, liquidity and profitability affect financial performance. This study took a sample of banking companies listed on the Indonesian stock exchange from 2016-2018 and the sampling technique used purposive sampling. The amount of data processed is 45 data. The results showed that credit risk has a negative and significant effect on financial performance, liquidity has a negative and significant effect on financial performance, and profitability has a positive and significant effect on financial performance. Keywords: Credit Risk, Liquidity, Profitability, Financial Performance. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji apakah risiko kredit, likuiditas dan profitabilitas mempengaruhi kinerja keuangan. Penelitian ini mengambil sampel perusahaan perbankan yang terdaftar di bursa efek Indonesia dari tahun 2016-2018 dan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Jumlah data yang diolah adalah 45 data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa risiko kredit memiliki pengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja keuangan, likuiditas memiliki pengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja keuangan, dan profitabilitas memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja keuangan. Kata kunci: Risiko kredit, Likuiditas, Profitabilitas, Kinerja keuangan.

Abstract

Tax regulation in lndonesia hos been changed for several times. The purpose is to stimulate basiness in Indonesia so that it will increase national income. One of the main purpose of Tax Reform 2000 is to increase companies' efficiency. As a result it wilt maximize companies' value through stabilizing and increasing stork capitalization. The aim of this research is to investiate whetlter tax reform announcement influence stock price, klown as abnormal return. Data is gathred from Jakarta Stock Exchange and samplewas manufactured indutries. Abstract

When Investors want to hry stock on the stock market, they will aamine the arnount of the stock dividend share. It relates n the iwestment opportunity set QOS).This research employed some techniques in measuring IOS, i.e. Markct Yalue of Assets to BookYalue of Assets (MYABYA), Markct Value of Equity toBook Value of Equity (Ifi/EBW), Finn Yalue to Book Yalue of Property,  Plant And EEipnent (WPE), Price Earning Ratio (PER), Capital Expendim.re to Market Yalue of Assets (CAPMIIA) and Capital Expenditure to B ook Yalue of Assets (CAPBVA).By employtng common factor analysis, this research took 67 companies as the sample. Arnong these, 30okwere taken as the companies that had high IOS and 30% as the companies which had low IOS. The research analysis of the whole sample and those which had low IOS, showed that the dividend per share, together with IOS, became a moderating variable, whichinfluenced the stock price. Abstract

ABSTRACT Financial inclusion is proven to decrease poverty and social gap if it is done maximally. Gunungkidul regency as one of all regency with the poorest population in Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. The determinant factor in successful financial inclusion is financial literacy toward the population themselves. Furthermore, the other factor to accelerate poverty alleviation is the role of the productive population.This research aims to discover the role of social capital as the financial literacy and financial inclusion mediator of Gunungkidul’s Regency productive population. With social capital is expected to be a mediator in improving literacy and inclusion finance.The population in this research is 729.364 productive ages of Gunungkidul’s Regency population and the sample was taken by non-probability sampling technique which produced 424 samples. This study adopted Sobel test also Kenny and Baron method to examine the effect of mediaton of social capital in the relationship between financial literasion and financial inclusion. The result of this study found that social capital proved to partially mediate the association beteen financial literacy and financial inclusion of productivity age in Gunungkidul Regency. Keywords: Poverty, Financial Literacy, Financial Inclusion, Social Capital, Partially Mediation, Gunungkidul Regency. ABSTRAK Gunungkidul termasuk Kabupaten dengan jumlah warga miskin Yogyakarta. Inklusi keuangan dipercaya dapat menurukan kemiskinan apabila dilakukan secara maksmial serta dapat mengurangi kesenjangan sosial. Salah satu faktor penentu keberhasilan inklusi keuangan adalah adanya literasi keuangan pada masyarakat itu sendiri, faktor lain yang dapat mempercepat pengentasan kemiskinan adalah peran masyarakat produktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran modal sosial sebagai mediator literasi keuangan dan inklusi keuangan pada usia produktif di Kabupaten Gunungkidul yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan literasi keuangan dan inklusi keuangan itu sendiri. Populasi penelitian ini adalah masyarakat Kabupaten Gunungkidul berusia produktif sebesar 729.364 jiwa. Pengambilan sampel dengan teknik non-probability sampling menghasilkan sampel sejumlah 424 jiwa. Penelitian mengadopsi dan menggunakan tes Sobel serta metode Baron dan Kenny dalam pengujian pengaruh mediasi modal sosial pada hubungan literasi keuangan dan inklusi keuangan. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa modal sosial terbukti secara parsial memediasi hubungan antara literasi keuangan dan inklusi keuangan pada usia produktif di Kabupaten Gunungkidul. Kata kunci: Usia Produktif, Literasi Keuangan, Inklusi Keuangan, Modal Sosial, Kabupaten Gunungkidul.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of core quality, relational quality, perceived value, image towards TransJogja bus passenger’s satisfaction. A random sample of 100 was drawn from passengers in halt areas and another places. They have used TransJogja buses for at least three months. This study shows that core quality and relational quality have influence on the TransJogja bus passanger’s satisfaction, meanwhile perceived value and image have not influence on TransJogja bus passenger’s satisfactionKeywords: core quality, relational quality, perceived value, image, passenger’s satisfaction

Abstract

ABSTRAK Salah satu tujuan yang ingin dicapai melalui program dan proyek-proyek pembangunan pemerintah adalah tumbuhnya partisipasi aktif masyarakat dalam proses perencanaan dan penerapan proyek-proyek pembangunan. Gagasan ini didasarkan pada konsep bahwa melalui proses partisipasi, masyarakat akan memahami nilai, tujuan dan manfaat proyek-proyek pembangunan tersebut bagi dirinya sehingga pada saat proyek diterapkan akan mentransformasi kehidupan masyarakat menuju kesebuah kehidupan yang lebih maju dan mapan. Dengan demikian, proyek pembangunan tersebut memberikan dampak yang signifikan bagi kemajuan masyarakat tersebut. Namun realitas di lapangan jauh berbeda masyarakat cenderung pasif dan tidak terlibat dalam proyek pembangunan. Pada umumnya para perencana dan pelaksana pembangunan melihat bahwa penyebab dari kepasifan ini terletak di dalam masyarakat itu sendiri yaitu pada nilai, budaya, tingkat pendidikan. Terkait dengan masalah kepasifan masyarakat ini, Penulis mengajukan argumen bahwa tatanan manajemen birokrasi proyek pembangunan itu sendiri adalah salah satu penghambat per- tumbuhan partisipasi masyarakat. Sistem pengawasan yang ketat, keterikatan irama kerja pada periode anggaran serta kontradiksi-kontradiksi dalam proses pengambilan keputusan antara pucuk pimpinan dengan para pelaksana di lapangan. Seluruh faktor-faktor ini membuat birokrasi proyek pembangunan menjadi tidak sensitif pada pertumbuhan aspirasi masyarakat untuk berpartisipasi. Untuk mengatasi problema manajemen ini perlu dibangun sebuah mekanisme informasi di luar birokrasi dan dalam hal ini Model Tindak Manusia (Human Action Model) seperti yang telah diujicobakan oleh PSLH-ITB di Ciamis dapat dipertimbangkan sebagai alternatif untuk diterapkan dalam implementasi proyek-proyek pembangunan sehingga dapat menjembatani kelemahan manajemen birokrasi pembangunan tersebut. ABSTRACT One of the objectives to be achieved through development programs and projects is the growth of community participation in the planning and the implementation process of development projects, which is based upon the ideas that through participation the communities would accept the ideals and understand the benefit of the project. Thus in turn, the project will be supported and transform the communities towards a more develop one. However, the reality is far different, people tend to be passive and not involved in the development process; hence, the development planners and managers see the cause of the passivity lies in the community itself, whether it's cultural values, education level, etc. The author argues one of the causes of the lack of participation of the community lies in the bureaucratic structure of the project management itself. Strict monitoring system, the attachment of working rhythms to the budget period of time and the existence of two levels of decision making between the chief executive and the project managers. These factors make the bureaucracy of the development project insensitive to the growing aspirations of the community to participate. In the closing part, the author proposes the Human Action Model as has been tested by PSLH-ITB in Ciamis as an alternative to be applied in the implementation of development projects to bridge the weaknesses of the development project management.

Abstract

The compory whbh is competitively qcellent is supposed a be able to win the competition.  Competitive qcellence may be achieved if the company does not only rely on its own tmiqueness, but also sorne uniqueness simultqteously owned fu that comporry. One of the company's tmiqueness, which can be used to rerchcompetitive ucellence, is brand image. Brand imoge is the compilation of association perceived by a anstomer towards a certain brand (Simarnora, 2004). Brand image consists of 3 dilnensions, i.e. 1) corporation image, 2) user image, and 3) product image. The resemch obiect was Starbucks Coffeeat Ambarubno Plaza Yogtakmta. This research aimed at testing the in/luence of corporation image, user image, ond pro&tct irnage on the cTtstomer loyalty of Starbucks Coffee.The sample was 100 respondents who have visited and bouglrt the products offered by Storbucl* Coffee in Yogtakarta. The Double Linear Regression analysis was employed to dnswer the reseorch obiectives. The research result uplained that there were positive atd significant influences between corporation image and pro&tct image on the c'ustorner loyalty of Snrbucb Coffee. Abstract

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this paper is to examine quality satisfaction between transactional and relationalcustomers in process e-commerce on Traveloka.com. Transactional customers are defined as the newcustomers or the customers who may remain with the firm for a short time and may demonstrate defection behavior. Relational customers represent the customers who stay longer with the firm and have a very low probability of defecting. Quality satisfaction in this study is defined as customer satisfaction with system quality, information quality, service quality, perceived control, and perceived enjoyment. Business transactions over the internet or better known by the term e-commerce is not a new phenomenon in the business world. This research is a quantitative research using descriptivestatistical analysis techniques, MANOVA (Multivariate Analysis of Variance), and TWO WAY ANOVA (Analysis of Variance) conducted to test the study hypothesis. The samples include 60 persons who used Traveloka.com and have experienced on it in Indonesia. Result show that relational customers more satisfy with system quality, information quality, dan service quality than transactional customers. Moreover, perceived control and perceived enjoyment strengthen qualitysatisfaction of transactional and relational customers.Keywords : Eletronic Commerce (e-commerce), Quality Satisfaction, Transactional Customers, Relational CustomersABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan kepuasan kualitasantara pelanggan transaksional dan relasional dalam proses e-commerce pada Traveloka.com. Pelanggan transaksional yaitu pelanggan baru atau pelanggan yang mungkin ingat dengan perusahaan untuk waktu yang singkat dan dapat menunjukkan perilaku untuk beralih dari perusahaan.Pelanggan relasional mewakili pelanggan yang setia dengan perusahaan dan memiliki probabilitas sangat rendah untuk beralih.Kepuasan kualitas dalam penelitian ini didefinisikan sebagai kepuasan pelanggan terhadap kualitas sistem, kualitas informasi, kualitas layanan, kontrol yang dirasakan, dan kesenangan yangdirasakan. Transaksi bisnis melalui internet atau yang lebih dikenal dengan istilah e-commerce bukan menjadi suatu fenomena baru di dunia bisnis. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif menggunakan teknik analisis statistik deskriptif, MANOVA (Multivariate Analysis of Variance), dan TWO WAY ANOVA (Analysis of Variance) digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis penelitian. Responden dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 60 orang yaitu pelanggan yang mempunyai pengalamanmenggunakan Traveloka.com di seluruh Indonesia.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pelanggan relasional lebih puas dengan kualitas sistem, kualitas informasi, dan kualitas layanan daripada pelanggan transaksional; kontrol yang dirasakan serta kesenangan yang dirasakan memperkuat kepuasan kualitas pelanggan relasional dan pelanggan transaksional.

The purpose of this study is to measure the acceptance of mobile apps technology using UnifiedTheory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) in Yogyakarta and its surrounding areas. Thestudy found that constructs such as performance expectancy, effort expectancy, and social influencepositively influence behavioral intention. While facilitating conditions and behavioral intention havepositive impact on use behavior.
