Focus and Scope Jurnal Riset Manajemen dan Bisnis (p-ISSN: 1907-7343; e-ISSN: 2714-7312) adalah jurnal yang dipublikasikan oleh Fakultas Bisnis Universitas Kristen Duta Wacana yang terbit dua kali setahun (Juli dan Desember). Jurnal ini didedikasikan sebagai sarana untuk berbagi dan diseminasi studi-studi terbaru dari para peneliti manajemen dan bisnis. Artikel-artikel empiris yang menyajikan riset yang akurat dan teliti secara metodologis dan temuan yang mencerahkan sangat dinantikan. Abstract

ABSTRACT This study examined the effect of entrepreneurial orientation on profitability in small business mediated by market orientation. Entrepreneurial orientation reflects the degree to which firms’ growth objectives are driven by the identification and exploitation of untapped market opportunities. Market orientation reflects the degree to which firms’ strategic market planning is driven by customer and competitor intelligence. Data was processed with Structural Equation Modeling using AMOS program. The results showed that Entre-preneurial orientation has an direct effect on market orientation and indirect effect on profitability mediated by market orientation. The results suggest, at least in small firms, entrepreneurial orientation complements market orientation by instilling an opportunistic culture that impacts the firm’s profitability. Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of entrepreneurial orientation on performance in new product development. Drawing upon a sample of 129 micro and small sized firms, multiple regression was used for testing three hypotheses. The results reveal that risk taking and proactiveness influence performance in new product development, while innovativeness show no such effect. Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of core quality, relational quality, perceived value, image towards TransJogja bus passenger’s satisfaction. A random sample of 100 was drawn from passengers in halt areas and another places. They have used TransJogja buses for at least three months. This study shows that core quality and relational quality have influence on the TransJogja bus passanger’s satisfaction, meanwhile perceived value and image have not influence on TransJogja bus passenger’s satisfaction Keywords: core quality, relational quality, perceived value, image, passenger’s satisfaction

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study examines the effect of advertisement, brand, dan product quality on society attitude in Yogyakarta. The sample is drawn with a stratified random precedure, resulted on the respondents 100 from yogyakarta society. Using Ajzen and Fishbein analysis, the results show that advertisement, brand, and product quality influence on society’s attitude in Yogyakarta. Abstract

ABSTRACT This research analyze the effect of capital and labor of Foreign Investment, Local Investment, and Non-facility Investment on Gross Domestic Regional Product in Sleman Regency after regional autonomy. Based on research method using 3 models of regression equation with significance level of 5%, the result are capital and labor of Foreign Investment had no significant effect on Gross Domestic Regional Product in Sleman Regency; capital of Local Investment had no significant effect on Gross Domestic Regional Product in Sleman Regency and labor of Local Investment had significant effect on Gross Domestic Regional Product in Sleman Regency, capital and labor of Non-facility Investment had no significant effect on Gross Domestic Regional Product in Sleman Regency. Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to analyze the role of loan interest and its implication towards Rural Bank’s financial performance. Database collected from primer data is based on observation, meanwhile secondary data from Rural Bank’s financial statements during 2006-2008 period. This study based on net interest margin analysis. The role of loan interest and it’s implication proxied by net interest income indicator. This study shows that an increase in interest income (Net Interest Income) at Rural Bank due to an increase of it’s lending activities for five years. Thus, loan interest income has important role on the increasing perfomance of PT Prismadana rural bank's finance. Keywords: Interest Rate, Financial Performing, BPR

Abstract

ABSTRACT Barbershop is a business that is experiencing rapid growth in Indonesia, including in Nita District, Sikka Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province. One of the barbershop that capitalizes on this momentum is Rita Barbershop, which not only focuses on haircutting services, but also implements CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility). This study aims to explore more deeply the implementation of CSR at Rita Barbershop which plays a role in providing economic, social, and environmental benefits to the surrounding community, especially for the Ritapiret Higher Seminary Community. This research uses a qualitative case study approach to explore the implementation of CSR at Rita Barbershop and its impact on the Ritapiret Community. A review of relevant literature highlighted the importance of CSR in creating a balance between profit, people and planet. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, field observations, and documentation. The results showed that the implementation of CSR at Rita Barbershop has improved the affordability of hair shaving services, empowered the community, and strengthened social relations. This research is expected to provide insights for other sustainable micro-enterprises. Keywords: Corporate Social Responsibility, Social Entrepreneurship, Rita Barbershop. ABSTRAK Barbershop merupakan bisnis yang sedang mengalami pertumbuhan pesat di Indonesia, termasuk di Kecamatan Nita, Kabupaten Sikka, Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Timur. Salah satu barbershop yang memanfaatkan momentum ini adalah Rita Barbershop, yang tidak hanya fokus pada layanan potong rambut, tetapi juga menerapkan CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi lebih dalam terkait implementasi CSR di Rita Barbershop yang berperan dalam memberikan manfaat ekonomi, sosial, dan lingkungan bagi komunitas sekitar, khususnya untuk Komunitas Seminari Tinggi Ritapiret. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi kasus untuk mengeksplorasi penerapan CSR di Rita Barbershop dan dampaknya terhadapa Komunitas Ritapiret. Kajian literatur yang relevan menggarisbawahi pentingnya CSR dalam menciptakan keseimbangan antara profit, people, dan planet. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi lapangan, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan CSR di Rita Barbershop telah meningkatkan keterjangkauan layanan cukur rambut, memberdayakan komunitas, dan memperkuat hubungan sosial. Penelitian ini diharapkan bisa memberikan wawasan bagi usaha mikro lainnya yang berkelanjutan. Kata Kunci: Tanggung Jawab Sosial Perusahaan, Kewirausahaan Sosial, Rita Barbershop.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study investigates the impact of environmental responsibility and environmental innovation on the cost efficiency of publicly listed companies in Indonesia from 2017 to 2022. Using a quantitative approach and panel data analysis, the research examines the relationship between environmental performance metrics and corporate financial performance. The findings suggest that while environmental innovation significantly enhances cost efficiency, the impact of environmental responsibility is more nuanced. The study also controls for various factors such as company size, leverage, and return on assets. The implications of these results are discussed in the context of the Indonesian business landscape and the global movement toward sustainable practices. Keywords: efficiency, environmental innovation, environmental responsibility ABSTRAK Studi ini menyelidiki dampak tanggung jawab lingkungan dan inovasi lingkungan terhadap efisiensi biaya perusahaan publik di Indonesia pada tahun 2017 hingga 2022. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan analisis data panel, penelitian ini menguji hubungan antara metrik kinerja lingkungan dan kinerja keuangan perusahaan. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa meskipun inovasi lingkungan secara signifikan meningkatkan efisiensi biaya, dampak tanggung jawab terhadap lingkungan lebih beragam. Studi ini juga mengontrol berbagai faktor seperti ukuran perusahaan, leverage, dan laba atas aset. Implikasi dari hasil-hasil ini dibahas dalam konteks lanskap bisnis Indonesia dan gerakan global menuju praktik berkelanjutan. Kata kunci: efisiensi, inovasi lingkungan, tanggung jawab lingkungan
