Abstract

The Faculty of Business, Law and Social Sciences (FBHIS) Universitas Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo (Umsida) held an FBHIS Logo Design Competition for the FBHIS creative community. The provisions of the competition are to represent all study programs (Prodi) in FBHIS, namely Management Study Program, Master of Management, Law, Communication Studies, Public Administration, Accounting, and Digital Business. To help determine the winner of the best contestants, a decision support system (SPK) is needed that is able to provide alternative solutions to the parties concerned. The method used in the decision support system for selecting participants in the logo design competition uses the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method for the weighting of the criteria. The software used in making DSS is MySQL and PHP. The assessment criteria are taken from the Originality selection test scores, Design Idea Concepts, Aesthetic Values, Conformity of Themes and Messages Delivered. Alternative samples were taken as many as 20 participants with the top rank. The results of the SAW calculation give the order of the participants' scores from the highest to the lowest. The result of the SPK is not a final decision, because it goes back to the one who made the decision

Abstract

Hal yang perlu diperhatikan oleh seorang pimpinan dengan mimikirkan untuk keberlanjutan kemajuan perusahaan diperlukan adanya kerjasama dengan tim, bentuknya adalah mengetahui keadaan karyawan dalam hal ini adalah gaji. Gaji sangat bersifat penting untuk dipikirkan. Pada PT.Ronal Jasa Mandiri untuk kenaikan gaji karyawan menggunakan prosedur yang sudah ditetapakan tapi belum memadai untuk diterapkan keseluruhannya. Oleh karena itu dalam pengambilan keputusan belum memiliki standar dan dan aturan maupun kriteria pada penilaian karyawan. Pada penelitian ini peneliti memabantu memberikan solusi kepada perusahaan dengan beberapa perhitungan dengan Metode MOORA, Kriteria yang digunakan pada penelitian ini kedisipinan, kualitas pekerjaan, produktivitas, tanggung Jawab, penggunaan fasilitas dan sparepart,loyalitas,attitude, moral dan mental, pengembangan diri. Dari hasil Perhitungan sistem pendukung keputusan kenaikan gaji karyawan memberikan keputusan terbaik dari sejumlah alternatif, dimana alternatif terbaik alternatif y4 atas nama “Agus dengan nilai 0,162589121, y11 atas nama minah dengan nilai 0,156364706.

Abstract

Abstract− This study aims to design a decision support system for providing tinting machine assistance for fishing communities in Bajo village. As well as selecting the provision of getting machine assistance. The method used in this study is the additive ratio assessment (ARAS) method. The ARAS method is used in this study because it can rank by comparing one alternative with another to provide more precise and accurate results. The results obtained in this study are the results of determining the highest recipients of getting machine assistance obtained in the calculation of the ARAS method so that the value of the ranking can provide information about the beneficiaries of the tinting machine assistance.

Abstract

Harapan Medan University is one of the universities located in the city of Medan, students who study not only come from within the city but there are also those from outside the region. Students who come from outside the region must have a temporary residence or boarding house, but due to limited information, students have difficulty finding boarding houses. Based on the existing problems, a boarding house selection system is built that can select and recommend the best boarding house. With this system, it is easier for students who come from outside the region to choose boarding houses according to the desired criteria. The decision support system built using the TOPSIS method where the TOPSIS method will produce a preference value for each boarding alternative data based on the weight value of the boarding criteria such as: price, distance, facilities, security, and chasitity. TOPSIS uses the principle that the chosen alternative must have the closest distance from the positive ideal solution and the farthest from the negative ideal solution by using the Euclidean distance to determine the relative closeness of an alternative to the optimal solution. The implementation of the system is carried out using the PHP programming language and MySQL as the database. The decision support system that is built produces recommendations by providing a ranking of boarding houses according to their preference values. Of the 10 boarding houses tested, the best alternative data is Kost Belpon Residence with a preference value of 0.8017 and followed by Kost Ungu with a preference value of 0.6653.

Abstract

This study develops RFID technology for a home security system, which is to make a home security system that is minimal in error and is also more stringent than just security that is carried out in general. By utilizing RFID technology coupled with a magnetic switch sensor based on SMS gateway and telephone notification, it is hoped that this research will produce a prototype tool in the form of a home security system. This prototype will be made using an Arduino Nano-based microcontroller which will be connected to several sensors and modules. The test results show that this system can provide accurate information to homeowners and can open doors with an RFID key.

Abstract

Facial beauty at this time can usually use cosmetics. Cosmetics have been known to people for centuries, and it was only in the 19th century that they received special attention as beauty. Cosmetics have become part of the business. Products used to enhance one's appearance are usually called cosmetics. Pressed powder is a type of cosmetic needed to complete facial makeup and is used to correct facial imperfections such as covering acne, dull skin, and facial blemishes. With so many counterfeit products out there, consumers are afraid to be careless in choosing pressed powder. So, in this article aimed at helping consumers decide which pressed powder is best for them, the authors used the SMART method to conduct research on pressed powder. In this article, data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires to consumers via social media. In this article, 371 respondents were obtained using 5 criteria and 16 alternatives, and 132 respondents were randomly selected to be used as material to be processed using the SMART method. In this article, we have identified the best-pressed powder with the highest index value, namely the madam gie alternative with a value of 1. This research aims to assist consumers in choosing the best-pressed powder.

Abstract

The selection of new lecturers for a tertiary institution is very important, because it forms the basis for the tertiary institution to have the best quality lecturers, so that they are able to transfer knowledge to students properly, so that the quality of the students produced is also better. In selecting lecturers according to the criteria, disagreements often occur between policy makers so that the results obtained are not in accordance with the goals that have been set. To overcome this, one way that can be applied is to apply a method, namely a decision support system using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). Education, TKDA, Microteaching, and interviews. The output of this study is a system that can provide alternative recommendations for lecturer acceptance with a consistency index, so that the hierarchy formed is acceptable. Implementation and testing of the system using the super decision application version 2.10. From the four alternative data tested, the best recommendation was Iin Syofia Yandra with a score of 0.37704818, followed by Dori H Putra with a score of 0.23819528

Abstract

Tryout in the scope of education in Indonesia is a trial that is usually carried out before facing the actual exam, or among students refers to a trial before facing a computer-based national exam (UNBK). The problem that has been identified is the implementation of the exam is still applying a traditional system that uses exam paper and fills in the answers themselves using pencils and pens. Therefore, this research focuses on designing a tryout exam application applying the linear congruent method held in schools, especially vocational high schools (SMK). This method is an algorithm used to generate random numbers. The function is to randomize questions, which can be defined as a mechanism for randomizing questions to create new questions that are different from the last. Hopefully, this application can help schools in terms of making, multiplying and distributing questions being tested. In addition, the results can be printed directly using a computer

Abstract

The design of an information system for registration and scheduling of postgraduate thesis exams at IAIN Palangka Raya is a system that will be built to make it easier for users to operate the system in managing thesis exams. This information system provides facilities to users who can interact in accordance with standard operating procedures according to user needs. As for the users involved in it, such as: students, academics, study programs and directors. This information system will contain activities starting from submitting a thesis title, determining a supervisor, making a supervisor's decision, thesis guidance, registration and scheduling of thesis proposal seminars as well as thesis examination seminars along with attached documents for each activity. The research method used is a structured method (waterfall model). This information system is designed and built usingCSS, Html, PHP, Auto Generate, Boostrrap and Mysql. The result of this research is the achievement of creating a web system that is expected to facilitate the management of registration and scheduling of quality thesis examinations at the Postgraduate IAIN Palangka Raya. Researchers also suggest that this research can be developed according to user needs

Abstract

A safe is a place used to store valuable items. Generally, safes use buttons to open the door. However, using buttons that only require entering a password is considered less secure. Therefore, a device has been created to enhance the security of the entered password. The device utilizes Arduino as the central data processing unit for user input and an Android smartphone as the device for entering the password. The security is implemented using the cryptographic technique known as One Time Pad, where the user is prompted to input the password to be used. During the password storage process, the password is encrypted before being stored. To use it, the user simply enters the stored password into the system. If the device is forcefully tampered with, a thief attempting to retrieve the password will be unable to understand the stored password within the device, as it has undergone encryption. With this dual security measure in place, it is expected that the safe will be even more secure.
