Abstract

Da'wah is an activity that aims to awaken humans to obey Islamic law and obtain happiness in this world and the afterlife. According to Amuni Syakir, da'wah has two main meanings: development and coaching. Da'wah is an activity that aims to persuade or advise other people to do good things in accordance with Islamic teachings and abstain from bad deeds. This da'wah is intended for individuals and the social life of society. In this modern era, da'wah is not only limited to delivering it in one event such as a recitation but can also be done through various other media, including social media. Preachers have various ways to spread knowledge. With advances in civilization and technology, da'wah methods have also become more diverse. In line with this, music emerged as a medium for preaching. Music is a combination of sound art and instruments used to express various things. By including elements of da'wah art, it is not only aimed at believers but can also reach all groups. Music is often associated with entertainment which is a human need. In seeking pleasure, humans can use various methods as long as they do not deviate from Islamic teachings. Humans naturally tend to like pleasant things and avoid scary things. Therefore, preachers should start their preaching by giving interesting and encouraging hopes before conveying threats. A preacher should first give targhib (good news) before tarhib (threats). The calming method as applied by the Prophet in preaching is to make it easier and not difficult and lighten and not burdensome. Many texts in the Qur'an and Sunnah texts show that Allah prefers ease to difficulty.

Abstract

Hijab is an obligation for every Muslim woman, an act that is still closely related to morals and Sufism. The use of hijab, which is widely worn by all Muslim women, has led to an increase in the trend of hijab style. Many Muslim women innovate with the hijab style. However, there is an increasingly diverse trend of hijab, many are used not as a symbol of religious morality and only used as an identity. Hijab, which should be used to cover the aurat, is actually used to show the curves of the body by using religious symbols that are not in accordance with morals. The purpose of this study is to provide knowledge of hijab styles that are in accordance with Islamic law, with a moral Sufism approach. The method in this study uses literature research sourced from previous scientific publications. The research uses a qualitative approach by evaluating and analyzing journals and articles as literature and references. Furthermore, after the data was collected and concluded, the authors used a descriptive analysis method. The results of this research are in the form of an idea, where morality can be interpreted as an idea of behavior or habits whose actions are in accordance with norms and laws. Both connect from the absorption of local and religious culture so that it is balanced as a unity of religious law. Referring to the relationship between Sufism akhlaqi and hijab comes from Sufism which means purifying oneself either physically or mentally. While akhlaqi is a temperament or character and disposition of a person. In essence, moral Sufism has scientific principles that are correlated with religion and Islamic teachings.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the meaning of the praises of the Purwa Ayu Mardhi Utama (PAMU) group using Roland Barthes' semiotic theory, which includes three levels of meaning: denotation, connotation and myth. PAMU is an Islamic-based mysticism group from Surakarta. They sing praises which mean prayers with cultural, spiritual and moral values. Denotatively, the praise lyrics describe the concept of human life regarding time, life and death, with an emphasis on the importance of responsibility and utilization of time. Connotatively, these lyrics evoke emotions about wisdom, steadfastness, and a spiritual relationship with God. On a mythical level, the lyrics reflect the cycle of life and the teaching that good deeds will continue to be remembered and passed down. This research used qualitative research using the Content Analysis method or content analysis. This technique allows writers to understand how certain symbols reflect values, culture, or messages in a particular context. The main instrument in this research is the researcher himself, who directly observes, listens and listens to praise from the PAMU group. The research results show that PAMU praise is not only a form of artistic expression, but also a medium for teaching religious and cultural values. This research recommends preserving PAMU's praise as cultural heritage as well as further studies to explore its relevance to modern life

Abstract

The problem facing teenagers today is the Islamic identity crisis, which is largely caused by the influence of external culture through social media. Based on the results of observations, it was found that parents and educators' concerns about adolescent behavior are increasing, especially with the number of cases such as juvenile delinquency and criminal acts. Therefore, efforts are needed to help teenagers understand religious lessons well and in depth. This research uses qualitative methods which aim to describe the concepts and conditions of teenagers, the influence of the media on their development, and how preaching content on social media can help shape Islamic identity. The aim of this research is to examine the role of social media in building the Islamic identity of teenagers in Blitar City. The object of the research involved teenage students attending school in Blitar City. The results of the research show that preaching content on social media has an important role in forming Islamic identity through Islamic religious education among teenagers. The survey results regarding satisfaction with teenagers' use of social media showed that 72.4% were satisfied, 17.2% were very satisfied and 10.3% were dissatisfied. Interesting and relevant content makes it easier for teenagers to understand the material more quickly compared to other content. Apart from that, teenagers become more tolerant towards other religions and phenomena that are not in line with their understanding. By using social media wisely and creating propaganda content that supports harmony, culture and harmony between groups can be maintained.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in transforming students' academic behavior at the State Islamic University of Sunan Ampel Surabaya through the lens of B.F. Skinner's reinforcement theory. The background of this research focuses on the potential of AI to support learning, while also presenting challenges, particularly concerning academic ethics. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach with in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation to uncover students' motivations and behavior in using AI. The findings indicate that AI has a dual role as both positive and negative reinforcement in students' academic behavior. Ethical use of AI can enhance independence, engagement in learning, and academic quality. Conversely, AI also has the potential to facilitate unethical academic behaviors through negative reinforcement, such as plagiarism and task completion without deep understanding. This study suggests the importance of implementing positive reinforcement and strict disciplinary measures to encourage responsible AI usage in academic settings.
