Abstract

The condition of Banyuwangi, which has begun to develop its tourist attraction, has made many Banyuwangi residents use it for business, not only as food souvenirs but also typical Banyuwangi t-shirts. One of the innovations that can be done in the T-Shirt business is to implement elements of local wisdom (words in the Osing language). To find out the potential of the T-Shirt business based on foreign language words, it is necessary to conduct research studies through analytical studies to determine the extent of consumer response. This research is a descriptive analysis research using 100 respondents who are divided into two categories, namely the category of adolescents (17-25 years) and adults (26-35 years). Overall, the accumulation of data from respondents regarding the interest in buying T-Shirt products based on foreign language words is 71% agree to buy, 18% do not, and 11% are undecided between buying the product or not. The results of this analytical research can be taken into consideration by T-Shirt business actors in Banyuwangi to determine the type of product and their target market. To obtain study results with high validity, it is necessary to conduct further research with a larger scale of respondents.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze how job burnout and engagement could affect public service motivation among civil servants in Bandung, West Java, Indonesia. The sample in this study was employees who worked in public organizations in Bandung Raya, West Java Province, Indonesia. By using a purposive sampling technique, about 73 civils who are willing to become respondents and participate in the research. The results reveal that all hypotheses proposed in the study can be confirmed. An important finding from this study is the mediating role of job engagement on the effect of job burnout on public service motivation. Although job burnout can directly reduce job engagement and public services motivation, if public organizations can manage job engagement better, they will be able to increase public services motivation even more. The development of relationships between concepts and patterns that apply in context and other research designs is highly recommended to uncover interesting things that may not have been found in this study. Recommendations for further research are to expand the scope of the research object, in addition to re-examining the validity of the model, it is also expected to reveal other things that are important information for policymakers and leaders in public sector organizations.

Abstract

Based on the results of the situation analysis that has been done, some students who take entrepreneurship courses feel that the concept of theory and application of entrepreneurship is not enough to compete in the current era. Increasing entrepreneurial competence through the Digital Entrepreneurship Program is an alternative solution to overcome these problems. The method used a descriptive qualitative approach. The variables in this study were Student Entrepreneurial Competence and the implementation of the Digital Entrepreneurship Program. The research results from the observation category related to the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor competencies of students in the field of entrepreneurship include; student abilities related to Online Store and Promotion Business by 30%, Community-Based Business by 20%, Content-Based Business and Matchmaking Business by 10%, Data Analysis by 45%, Cybersecurity by 35%, Cloud Computing by 15%, and Artificial Intelligence is 5%, Communication-customer services is 60%, Communication-customer services is 60% and Communication-customer complains is 40%. The results of the implementation of the Digital Entrepreneurship program related to increasing entrepreneurial competence in students are one of the recommendations of various parties in providing services for students who have businesses to improve their competencies so that their businesses can compete locally and globally.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to understand the influence of customer engagement and brand attachment in increasing purchase decision of customers. This study is using quantitative approach, with the population of customers of local make-up brands in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The total number of samples is 115 respondents, which is selected using purposive sampling method. The data is collected through distributing questionnaire using online platforms, which is then analyzed using descriptive analysis and path analysis. The results indicate that customer engagement has an influence on brand attachment, brand attachment has an influence on purchase decision, and that brand attachment mediates the influence of customer engagement on purchase behavior.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the effect hospitality, attractions, transpor, amenity on the decision to visit Borobudur Temple and To find out the influence of hospitality, attractions, transport, and amenity simultaneously on the decision to visit Borobudur Temple. This type of research is quantitative research with the population of tourists who have visited Borobudur Temple. Sampling techniques using non probability sampling, namely purposive sampling, with a sample count of 50 respondents. Multiple linear regression analysis is used in this study, with SPSS program version 17. Research results are the variable trip quality had a significant effect both partially and simultaneously on the decision to visit Borobudur Temple.

Abstract

In an effort to face global competition and improve performance, a telecommunications company is trying to streamline itself by implementing an early retirement policy. The policy is primarily intended for senior employees who are less able to keep up with technological developments. However, early retirement policies are more attractive to employees who are younger and have high abilities and potential. They feel that with their abilities and potential they can get new jobs and career development in other companies. This study aims to explain and examine the relationship model of work motivation, individual environment, work ability, employee performance with their career development. The research design is in the form of causal explanation from a survey of three branch offices of telecommunication companies located in Blitar, Malang, and Pasuruan. The research sample was 255 people, the respondents were taken by proportional systematic random sampling. data collection through questionnaires. Data analysis used multiple regression analysis and path analysis. The results of the study indicate that the individual environment is the initial state that stimulates the emergence of work motivation which is a driving force for work ability so as to spur employee performance which in turn can develop their careers.

Abstract

This study aims to see whether there is an overreaction effect on the company's stock price in the Consumer Goods Industry Sector - Cosmetics & Home Supplies which are listed in the period January 2019 - February 2022 on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Sampling in this study was carried out using purposive sampling method. This method has the criteria that the shares are always listed in the research period. The researcher uses data analysis in the form of simple linear regression and to answer normality using the Central Limit Theorem which is to find out whether the data submitted is normal. This study proves empirically that overreaction has an influence on stock prices, so that in its implications for stock investment investors do not have adequate understanding and are easy to accept information that is not necessarily true.

Abstract

The capital structure is a description of the form of the company's financial proportion. In realizing the optimal capital structure, financial managers must consider the factors that affect the capital structure. With the many factors that can affect the capital structure, the purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the size of the company against the capital structure with profitability as an intervening variable. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, with a total sample size of 100 companies that met the criteria. The data analysis technique used is path analysis. The results of this study indicate that there is no direct relationship between company size and profitability. Meanwhile, company size and capital structure have a direct relationship. Likewise, profitability with capital structure has a direct relationship.

Abstract

The human aspect holds an important role in sustainability and development of the company because basically every company activity is never separated from the human element. Production, marketing and technology activities cannot run without being carried out by humans. Both large and small companies, in the human resource approach means each organization or company must be able to create a sense of secure and satisfaction so that the human resources in work environment become competitive. The objective of this study is to determine the effect of work environment and empowerment on craftsmen productivity at Furniture Industry Center in Karangbendo village, Lumajang. The independent variables are work environment and empowerment. The dependent variable is productivity. The respondent of the study are craftsmen at Furniture Industry Center in Karangbendo village, Lumajang with a sample of 30. By using multiple linear regression analysis technique, the results obtained that the work environment has a significant effect on productivity, the empowerment has no significant effect on productivity while simultaneously the work environment and empowerment have significant effect on productivity. The 51.3% of productivity can be explained by work environment and empowerment variables and the remaining 48.7% was affected by other variables that not examined in this study.

Abstract

developing tourist villages and to identify the potential of local products as opportunities for creative economy. The type of research conducted is qualitative by using a case study approach. The research location was in the Semeru Bamboo Belt Workshop in Sumbermujur Village, Candipuro District, Lumajang Regency. The research informants consisted of: Semeru Belt Workshop Management, Business Actors, Consumers and the Community. The results of research conducted indicate that the contribution of creative entrepreneurs in supporting the development of tourism villages with products that they have is quite large, given the creative industry products produced are obtained by utilizing the considerable natural resource potential, namely handicraft products made from bamboo, which are in the region, although the types of products produced are still limited, due to the limited knowledge and skills possessed by these business actors. The potential of local products developed in Sumbermujur village is quite diverse. This is very useful in supporting tourism activities carried out, among others: excellence of agricultural products, which are processed into various kinds of culinary specialties with superior recipe bamboo shoots, bamboo batik crafts, and currently the ones that superior is bamboo crafts.
