Abstract

Bureaucratic leadership in public institutions often gets a negative stigma due to a shift in understanding of bureaucracy in the public service system. This research aims to analyze the effect of bureaucratic leadership on public service motivation and job performance. A causal study through a questionnaire to employees at the sub-district level in Bandung randomly selected 245 employees. Data analysis using SEM procedure. The finding showed that bureaucratic leadership indicated by the encouragement of professionalism, distribution of power, coalitions, and leadership abilities in administrative matters could encourage motivation to provide services and ultimately improve service performance. Orientation to the public interest, self-sacrifice as a public servant, and interest in policy-making for the public interest as an indication of motivation to provide services mediate the influence of bureaucratic leadership on the performance of employees. Bureaucratic leadership influences employee performance either directly or through PSM. The theoretical implication is that the interaction between leaders and subordinates is a process of exchange and social learning for employees. The practical implication is the need to develop interactions between leaders and subordinates as a process of exchanging values and learning to improve employee motivation and performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to understand the influence of customer engagement and brand attachment in increasing purchase decision of customers. This study is using quantitative approach, with the population of customers of local make-up brands in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The total number of samples is 115 respondents, which is selected using purposive sampling method. The data is collected through distributing questionnaire using online platforms, which is then analyzed using descriptive analysis and path analysis. The results indicate that customer engagement has an influence on brand attachment, brand attachment has an influence on purchase decision, and that brand attachment mediates the influence of customer engagement on purchase behavior.

Abstract

The development of the digital world today has had a significant impact on the industrial sector, one of which is the development of e-commerce. E-commerce is one of the platforms used by consumers in searching for information related to the needs of both products or services. Rating of a product plays an important role that can help consumers to support purchasing decisions and reduce search costs. Many factors can influence online purchasing decisions such as ewom, celebrity influencers, and online discounts, but very few studies have examined product ratings in determining purchasing decisions. This study aims to obtain results regarding the effect of product rating and web quality on purchasing decisions among private university students in Bandung. This type of research is an explanatory research that intends to explain the position of the variables studied and the relationship between one variable and another. The sample used in this study was 100 6th semester students with a focus on 3 classes of business and management faculty. The results showed that there was an influence between product rating and web quality variables on purchasing decisions. Although the results show that the effect is not large enough, these two factors, especially product ratings, are one of the variables that are often used by consumers in supporting online purchasing decisions.

Abstract

In every organization, the performance shown by employees is a determining factor for the success of the organization. This study aims to identify the determinants of employee performance, by looking at the role of job characteristics, employee competence, and work environment. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey as a data collection tool. The population of this study were employees of the Welfare Bureau of West Java Province, with a total of 76 respondents. The data obtained were analyzed by multiple regression analysis through SPSS software. The results of this study indicate that the performance of employees of the Welfare Bureau of West Java Province is influenced by job characteristics, employee competence, and their work environment. This research can be input for decision makers in the Welfare Bureau of West Java Province to consider factors that can improve employee performance

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to understand and analyze how employee skills and knowledge relate to the work of employees at the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) Office in West Java Province. The methodology used in this research is descriptive methodology by utilizing quantitative thresholds. The population in this study was 153 people consisting of all employees at the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) Office of West Java Province with a sample taken from the slovin formula of 61 people. The average score for Performance Allowance is 79.00%, Competence is 79.05%, and Employee Performance is 80.59% of the ideal score so that it is categorized as Good/strong. The research findings show that the variable work benefits and competencies have an influence on employee performance. The magnitude of the influence of the Performance Allowances and Competency variables on Employee Performance is indicated by the magnitude of the coefficient of determination R2 = 0.720 or 72.00%, while external influences or errors are 28%. With a percentage coefficient of determination greater than 70%, the model is included in the Strong category.

Abstract

The research objective is to evaluate the implementation of E-Samsat as a tool to build trust and increase taxpayer compliance in paying motor vehicle taxes. The research method is a causal study with a questionnaire as a data collection tool. The affordable sample in this study is motor vehicle taxpayers who use E-Samsat in Bandung Regency, as many as 227. Inferential analysis to test the relationship of variables using covariant SEM with SPSS tools 25 The results show that using E-Samsat positively relates to trust and compliance taxpayers in paying motor vehicle tax. E-Samsat can increase the trust and compliance of taxpayers in paying motor vehicle taxes. E-Samsat can be an effective solution to increase taxpayer trust and compliance in paying motor vehicle taxes. The practical implication of this research is that the government and tax agencies can increase the use of E-Samsat to build trust and increase taxpayer compliance in paying motor vehicle taxes. This research can also be the basis for further research on the use of technology in improving tax compliance and public financial management.

Abstract

The goal of this study is to see how the VIP customer research object at Citylink Indonesia Airlines affects customer loyalty. So according research on the impact of customer experience on regular customers, patrons who receive a positive ” are more likely to return for another purchase, more likely to recommend the business to friends, and less inclined to shift to competitors. According to the findings of this study, customer experience management factors play an important role in business competitiveness. Emotional experiences, according to the literature, play an important role in customer loyalty to a company's brand. This finding is in accordance with the study's findings that airline image and service quality have a significant influence on customer behavioral intentions. Because a brand's experience includes a consumer's subjective experience and behavior, customer experience is related to customer loyalty. The airline's image, trust, and additional services all contribute to the overall expertise. Customers who have a happy impression and thus be willing to repurchase the service.

Abstract

Employee well-being is an important factor for individuals and to ensure company sustainability. The research objective is to develop a Job Demand-Resources (JD-R) model that can predict employee well-being and productivity at PT Fengtay Indonesia Enterprise. Explanatory survey of 250 randomly selected non-manager employees of PT Fengtay Indonesia Enterprise. Inferential analysis using SEM with SPSS25 tools. The results of the study show that job demands, such as high task demands and tight time pressure, have a negative and significant relationship with employee welfare, while job resources, such as social support from colleagues and superiors, have a positive and significant effect on employee well-being. ultimately increase productivity. The proposed JD-R model can be a useful tool for human resource management in developing effective strategies to improve employee welfare and individual productivity. The JD-R model helps managers to improve employee well-being and productivity. Management can ensure support to employees thereby increasing their well-being and productivity. Abstract

The main problem in this study is the capitation policy in the JKN era through BPJS in the Cimahi Tengah Health Center, Cimahi City in particular, and Indonesia in general, the quality of health services and employee performance have not met expectations. This is caused by the implementation of policies that have not been optimal and knowledge about this capitation policy has not been understood. This study aims to determine the effect of capitation policy implementation and performance on improving the quality of health services in the Cimahi Tengah Community Health Center, Cimahi City. The method in this study is to use a descriptive analysis method, namely by describing each variable and testing both variables with a quantitative (statistical) approach which is then analyzed and compared with existing theories and problems to draw conclusions. Based on the findings in this study, the provision of capitation policies, both material and non-material, needs to be fulfilled so that employees can achieve performance that is in line with organizational expectations. For this reason, it is necessary for the leadership to pay attention to the implementation and application of the capitation system built to achieve organizational goals and objectives.

Abstract

Riset ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi dampak dari pengembangan karier, yang mencakup perencanaan karier dan manajemen karier, baik secara bersamaan maupun secara terpisah, serta untuk mengidentifikasi faktor yang paling berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan di Dinas Pekerjaan Umum dan Penataan Ruang (PUPR) Kota Cimahi. Riset ini bersifat eksplanatori atau bertujuan untuk menguji hipotesis yang mengkaji hubungan antara pengembangan karier, terdiri dari perencanaan karier dan manajemen karier, dengan kinerja karyawan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui distribusi kuesioner kepada 44 karyawan tetap, dan analisis data menggunakan regresi linier berganda. Uji F, uji t, dan uji dominan digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis. Hasil analisis regresi berganda menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan karier, yang terdiri dari perencanaan karier dan manajemen karier, secara bersamaan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Selain itu, secara terpisah, baik perencanaan karier maupun manajemen karier juga berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Dari kedua faktor ini, perencanaan karier terbukti menjadi faktor yang paling dominan dalam memengaruhi kinerja karyawan. Dengan mempertimbangkan nilai Adjusted R Square, dapat disimpulkan bahwa sekitar 16,5% variasi dalam kinerja karyawan dapat dijelaskan oleh pengembangan karier, yang mencakup perencanaan karier dan manajemen karier, sedangkan faktor lain yang tidak diteliti dalam Riset ini menjelaskan sisanya sebesar 83,5%.
