Abstract

This research discusses Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender and pastoral services carried out by the church in helping people to know God's Love. In this study, the author examines pastoral care to deal with lesbian gay bisexual transgender in the Jemaat Kristen Indonesia Oikos Pelangi Kasih church. With descriptive qualitative research method using literature review and field data. Perform well the function guiding, supporting function, healing function, restoring function and maintenance function will really help the lesbian gay bisexual transgender people to experience recovery and know the truth of God’s word. AbstrakPenelitian ini membahas seputar Lesbian, Gay, Bisex, Transgender dan pelayanan pastoral yang dilakukan oleh gereja dalam menolong orang-orang untuk mengalami kasih Tuhan. Pada pene-litian ini, penulis meneliti tentang pelayanan pastoral untuk menangani kaum lesbian, gay, bisex, transgender di Gereja Jemaat Kristen Indonesia Oikos Pelangi Kasih. Dengan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif menggunakan kajian pustaka dan data lapangan. Melakukan dengan baik fungsi membimbing, fungsi  menopang, fungsi menyembuhkan, fungsi memulikan dan fungsi memelihara akan sangat membantu kaum lesbian gay bisex dan transgender untuk mengalami pemulihan dan mengenalkan kebenaran firman Tuhan

Abstract

This paper is intended to describe the psychological dynamics of adolescents living in orphanages. How are the psychological dynamics of adolescents in living their adolescence without direct guidance and affection from their parents. This study uses a qualitative approach with phenomenological methods. From the results of this study, it was concluded that there were significant differences in the psychological dynamics of adolescents living in orphanages because they had to be entrusted by parents with adolescents living in an orphanage because of their own desires. Psychologically, adolescents who are forced to live in orphanages tend to close themselves off from their environment. Meanwhile, adolescents who live in homes because of their own desires, they tend to be more open to their environment. In addition, the age factor when they enter the orphanage environment also affects their psychological dynamics. Those who enter the orphanage when they are children tend to be more adaptable. Conversely, those who enter when they are teenagers tend to have more difficulty adapting. Therefore, it is hoped that the management of the orphanage can understand the psychological dynamics of adolescents and their struggles, so that it can help them to live adolescence properly, even without the presence of their biological parents.

Abstract

Every pastor must have principles in carrying out his ministry as the main guide in acting and thinking in carrying out his ministry duties. The pattern of life and character of a pastor in carrying out pastoral ministry greatly affects the life of the congregation, therefore it is necessary to understand how the principles of pastoral care and also the pattern in their application in the ministry itself The use of 1 Peter 5-1:5 is not without reason, this is because there are pastors who are not fully aware of the duties and responsibilities associated with the position as pastor of the congregation, and this is what encourages the author to compile and explore what the Bible says about the principles of shepherding in 1 Peter 5:1-5 and how these principles can be applied in service today. Research method, the author uses a qualitative research method approach to descriptive analysis, with an exposition approach to the text of 1 Peter 5:1-5, namely: first, the shepherd has the responsibility to feed his sheep, serve not because forced and looking for personal gain, and placing oneself as a servant, namely serving the congregation and having a willingness to serve unconditionally and being willing to sacrifice in carrying out services for the benefit of the congregation.AbstrakSetiap gembala harus memiliki prinsip pelayanan sebagai pedoman bertindak dan berpikir da-lam melakukan tugas pelayanannya. Pola hidup dan karakter seorang gembala dalam menjalan-kan pelayanan Pastoral mempengaruhi kehidupan jemaat. Oleh sebab itu sangat diperlukan pe-mahaman tentang prinsip-prinsip pengembalaan. Penggunaan 1 Petrus 5-1:5 bukanlah tanpa ala-san, penulis untuk menyusun dan menggali apa kata Alkitab tentang bagaimana prinsip-prinsip penggembalaan dalam surat 1 Petrus 5:1-5, dan bagaimana prinsip tersebut dapat diterapkan da-lam pelayanan saat ini. Metode penelitian, penulis menggunakan pendekatan metode penelitian kualitatif analisis deskriptif, dengan pendekatan eksposisi pada teks 1 Petrus 5:1-5. Yakni, gem-bala menyadari tanggung jawabnya dalam memberi makan dombanya serta melayani bukan karna terpaksa dan mau menempatkan diri sebagai seorang hamba yaitu melayani jemaat serta memiliki kerelaan hati untuk mengabdi tanpa pamrih dan rela berkorban dalam melakukan pelayanan-pelayanan demi kepentingan jemaatnya.

Abstract

Pluralism is a reality that cannot be ignored by the Indonesian people. Pluralism requires everyone to be able to open up and think positively to create a pluralist sense of togetherness and have an attitude of helping each other, especially in the current Covid-19 pandemic situation that has hit the world, including Indonesia. The church is called to be able to carry out social tasks during a crowded society during this Covid-19 pandemic. The purpose of this paper is to implement the Church's social work in pluralism during the Covid-19 pandemic. This writing uses qualitative methods in data and text analysis, namely paying attention to the symptoms that arise as a result of the covid-19 pandemic; poverty and deprivation so that the Church is involved in social problems to take part in helping and assisting others regardless of ethnic and religious differences by explaining the theological basis in building a pluralist togetherness from the foremost law, the example of Jesus' life and God's love for all human beings. AbstrakKemajemukan merupakan kenyataan yang tidak dapat diabaikan bangsa Indonesia. Kemajemukan menuntut setiap orang untuk dapat membuka diri dan berpikiran positif agar terciptanya rasa kebersamaan yang pluralis serta memiliki sikap saling tolong menolong, terlebih dalam situasi pandemi Covid-19 saat ini yang melanda dunia termasuk Indonesia. Gereja terpanggil untuk dapat melakukan tugas sosial ditengah masyarakat yang mejemuk pada masa pendemik Covid-19 ini. Tujuan penulisan ini adalah untuk mengimplementasikan tugas sosial Gereja dalam kemajemukkan pada masa pandemic Covid-19. Penulisan ini menggunakan metode  kualitatif dalam analisis data dan teks  yakni memperhatikan gejala yang timbul akibat dari pandemi Covid-19; kemiskinan dan kekurangan agar Gereja terlibat permasalahan sosial untuk ambil bagian dalam menolong dan membantu orang lain tanpa melihat perbedaan suku dan agama dengan memaparkan dasar teologis dalam membangun kebersamaan yang pluralis dari hukum yang terutama, teladan hidup  Yesus dan kasih Allah terhadap semua manusia.

Abstract

The understanding of speaking in tongues as self-edifying is, actually, not only to be practised in the context of communal worship in the church but also can be undertaken in the context of social and secular life. In life relating socially and responding to life, situations require the ability to act in emotional maturity. This study aims to show the functions and benefits of speaking in tongues that can be practised for edifying spiritual maturity. By using the descriptive method of interpretive analysis on 1 Corinthians 14:4, it is found that the use of the Greek word oikodomeo in the text can be interpreted to edify oneself positively, through thinking and acting in maturity. In conclusion, speaking in tongues can be practised to edify emotion intelligently, so that believers can respond the life situations in an elegant and proportionate way. AbstrakPemahaman bahasa roh untuk membangun diri sendiri sejatinya tidak monoton dipraktikkan da-lam konteks ibadah komunal di gereja semata, melainkan dapat dilakukan juga dalam konteks kehidupan sosial dan sekuler. Dalam berelasi secara sosial dan menyikapi situasi kehidupan dibutuhkan kemampuan bertindak yang dewasa secara emosional. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk menunjukkan fungsi dan manfaat bahasa roh yang dapat dipraktikan dalam rangka membangun kedewasaan rohani seseorang. Dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif analisis interpretatif atas teks 1 Korintus 14:4, didapatkan bahwa penggunaan kata oikodomeo dalam teks tersebut dapat diartikan membangun diri secara positif, melalui kedewasaan berpikir dan bertindak. Kesimpu-lannya, praktik bahasa roh dapat digunakan seseorang untuk membangun emosionalnya secara cerdas, agar dapat menyikapi situasi kehidupan secara elegan dan proporsional.
