This study aims to determine the efforts of Islamic Financial Institutions in empowering SMEs, strategies and important roles carried out by LKS in order to empower SMEs through the provision of capital to be managed in business. The method used in this research is descriptive analysis method, a method that only describes various forms of paradigms about empowerment strategies for SMEs, the most important data sources in this study are related to the search for library data, relevant books, and scientific papers. others relevant to the object of study. The results of this study indicate that there has been much power and effort carried out by the Islamic Finance Agency in order to empower SMEs, this can be proven by the existence of several programs, products, and financing aimed directly at SMEs. The strategy used is; provide complete information as well as promotion to SMEs, provide financing for their business development, provide financing in accordance with the type of business that SMEs are involved in with the concept of sharia principles. The implication of this research is to continue to provide services professionally and provide the best so that they are truly able to provide community welfare, more selective in providing financing so as to minimize the losses that will occur, increase technological resources so that SMEs can easily access information.

Abstract

Berbagai segmen dari pariwisata terus bermunculan salah satu adalah pariwisata halal. Namun sejak kemunculannya di Indonesia pada tahun 2010, pandangan pro dan kontra terjadi pada berbagai kalangan seperti akademisi, pemerintah dan masyarakat berbagai daerah yang penduduknya mayoritas non Muslim. Berdasarkan hal tersebut maka penelitian ini bertujuan melihat prospek dan penerapan strategi pariwisata halal pada masyarakat mayoritas non Muslim di Kabupaten Mamasa Sulawesi Barat. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Sumber data berasal dari data primer dan sekunder dengan Dinas Pariwisata sebagai informan kunci. Analisis data dilakuakan melalui tiga tahapan yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Pada analisis data ini menggunakan alat analisis SWOT dan QSPM. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kondisi pariwisata di Kabupaten Mamasa memiliki berbagai keterbatasan sehingga menjadi suatu keharusan pemerintah Kabupaten Mamasa untuk mengembangkan pariwisata secara profesional dan menyentuh segmen-segmen baru pariwisata yang sedang berkembang. Kondisi pariwisata halal di Kabupaten Mamasa secara spesifik belum dikembangkan namun prospek penerapan pariwisata halal di Kabupaten Mamasa sangat besar. Strategi penerapan pariwisata halal di Kabupaten Mamasa dapat di lakukan dengan 12 alternatif strategi dengan 3 strategi prioritas.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuang untuk mengetahui: 1) implementasi kepemimpinan dan budaya islami; 2) urgensi pengembangan kompetensi sumber daya insani ditengah persaingan perubahan tekhnologi; 3) kompetensi apa saja yang dibutuhkan sumber daya insani; 4. peluang dan tantangan pengembangan kompetensi sumber daya insani di ditengah persaingan perubahan teknologi; dan 5) pengembangan kompetensi sumber daya insani pada Bank Muamalat Indonesia Regional Sulampua. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif. penelitian kualitatif. Adapun pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan theologi normatif dan pendekatan fenomenologi, dengan sumber data primer dan sekunder. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan observasi, wawancara dan dokumen-tasi. Teknik analisis adalah reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) implementasi kepemimpinan dan budaya islami sudah sesuai dengan kode etik, dan nilai-nilai muamalat IDEAL; 2) urgensi pengembangan kompetensi SDI adalah: teknologi digital, perilaku konsumen dan kebutuhan profesi; 3) Kebutuhan kompetensi SDI adalah: aspek personal (skill, knowledge, traith, values and motive), aspek organisasional (kompetensi komunikasi, perencanaan, strategi aksi, manajemen diri, kompetensi multicultural, dan team work); program core training, functional training, aspek behavioural and managerial, dan aspek spiritualitas; 4) tantangan pengembangan kompetensi SDI adalah: inovasi baru dibidang digital, komitmen dari semua pemangku kepentingan, ketersediaan anggaran, perubahan lanskap, tingginya sikap skeptis masyarakat atas keamanan, culture shock nasabah di daerah-daerah tertentu, turn over cukup tinggi. Sedangkan peluang adalah: regulator OJK yang mengharuskan perusahaan membuat roadmap pengembangan kompetensi SDI; dan 5) Upaya pengembangan kompetensi SDI adalah: program reskilling, upskilling, muamalat officer development program.

Abstract

Pesantren is basically an institution that plays a very important role in the era of globalization, namely shaping one's personality. Character education in the current era of globalization really needs character education, because the purpose of character education is to expand spiritual intelligence. The biggest challenge in facing globalization and modernization is where the empowerment of human resources (HR) and the economy in life has changed in every way, especially social and socio-cultural which is very fast and fundamental in every aspect of life. Islamic boarding schools must be able to create people who are IMTAQ (faithful and pious), who are knowledgeable and charitable and form modern humans who are sensitive to contemporary social realities such as "al muhafadotu 'ala qodimish sholih wal akhdu bi Jadidil Ashlah" (maintaining good old things and taking matters into account). For this reason, several strategic steps need to be taken, namely: knowledge, entrepreneurial spirit and work ethic/independence. Islamic boarding schools have developed and won the trust of the community through the implementation of a dormitory system that allows students to receive religious guidance using a reading system or madrasa. In addition to showing the level of diversity, orientation of the pesantren leadership and the independence of the kiai, the high number of Islamic boarding schools indicates that pesantren is a private educational institution that is very independent and is actually a community-based educational practice. The typical leadership of Nyai has a very broad influence on the development of pesantren in society. Based on the analysis of the situation, it is necessary to have an effort to provide alternative solutions that can increase the entrepreneurial involvement of female students through the leadership of Nyai in Islamic Boarding Schools in Semarang City.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the behavior of seasonal consumers in making purchasing decisions for imported food products. The research method used is quantitative with a descriptive approach using logistic regression analysis techniques. The population of this study is the Muslim community of Bogor City with a sample of 120 respondents. The types of data used are primary data and secondary data. The data collection technique used a questionnaire distribution technique. Based on the results of descriptive analysis, the characteristics of consumers who purchase imported packaged food products are the Muslim community of Bogor City, who have an age range of 21-30 years. Consumers really prioritize halal labels in making decisions. It also involves religious considerations before buying imported food products. Consumers are also actively using social media and have an interest in cultures that come from abroad. Based on the results of logistic regression analysis that examines the behavior of Muslim consumers in Bogor City using the variables of halal label, religiosity, lifestyle and product knowledge on purchasing decisions, it shows that halal labels and religiosity have a partial effect on purchasing decisions. Meanwhile, the halal label, religiosity, lifestyle and product knowledge simultaneously affect purchasing decisions.

Abstract

In the socio-economic context, zakat is one indicator that can answer the needs of people who have a weak economy. According to the BAZNAS report in 2021, the realization of zakat fund collection in Indonesia reached Rp. 14 trillion, or 4.28% of Rp. 327 trillion potential zakat in Indonesia. The discrepancy between the realization and the potential of existing zakat is one of the reasons for the lack of public awareness of tithing through zakat institutions due to a lack of public trust. One of the causes of this emergence is due to injustice in the distribution of zakat. This study will explore the urgency of justice in the distribution of zakat using descriptive qualitative research with the literature study method. This study results that justice in the distribution of zakat by zakat institutions is part of a form of social responsibility, so that this is an absolute thing to strive for and become a target for zakat institutions. Justice in the distribution of zakat will ultimately lead to the attention of the muzakki and become a motivation in paying zakat through institutions. This motivation will ultimately increase the optimization of zakat collection.

Abstract

In the era of transformation 5.0 as it is today, environmental sustainability is one of the common problems for all communities around the world. Pekalongan City is one of the centers of batik fabric industry in Indonesia. Several rivers in Pekalongan City are declared to have been polluted due to pollution of textile dye waste. The existing cloth factory in Pekalongan City dumps its waste directly into the river. MSMEs (Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises) are one of the economic actors that have such a large role in the national economy. The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of environmental knowledge, perceptions and behaviors of Batik MSMEs in Pekalongan in implementing the Green Economy. This study used quantitative methods and to process data using SPSS 20 from respondent data of around 97 from batik MSME actors in Pekalongan. From the results of this study, it shows that knowledge affects the perception of MSMEs in implementing the green economy. The perception oftheattitude of MSMEs in implementing the green economy. Knowledge affects the behavior of MSMEs in implementing the green economy through the perceptionof MSME practices. Keywords: Environmental Knowledge, Perception, Behavior, Green Economy

Abstract

The outbreak of the global halal industry trend has become a crucial issue that is important to be discussed by sharia economic activists, because halal is not only meeting the needs and compliance of muslim with sharia but is also one of the priority standards recognized by the world. The purpose of this study is to comprehensively describe Indonesia’s position in the halal industry sector, so that the research results can be used as a reference in setting policies for the government and stakeholders in developing the halal industry in Indonesia. The research is a descriptive qualitative research using normative theological and phenomenological approaches, with secondary data sources obtained through books, journals, articles, report data, and various relevant scientific sources. The result of the study show that the role of the halal industry in Indonesia is very large, not only in the food and beverage sector, but the halal industry has expanded to include the Islamic finance sector, muslim fashion, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, travel, hotels, tourism, media and flim recreation. Indonesia has great potential to develop the halal industry besides Indonesia as the country with the largest muslim population in the world, Indonesia also has large consumption value in the halal sector, the existence of legal regulations, the establishment of KNEKS, the synergy of stakeholders, the existence of BPJPH and various other potentials that support the development of the halal industry in Indonesia that is globally competitive.

Abstract

Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) emerges as a unique index in the Indonesian capital market with emphasize on the islamic values of the issuers. Consequentially, this ideological movement gives rise to the need of Islamic corporate social responsibility. This article investigates the determinants of this construct by quantitative measurement of the panel data from 2016-2018 forming a mediation, and moderation analysis in the Smartpls software. The results indicate the significant result between the Islamic board and the ICSR, but not toward the profitability—as how it affects ICSR. The mediation result does not get support from the finding. The moderating analysis implies that the larger the firm size, the more reduced the role of the Islamic board upon affecting the ICSR.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the whether the financial and non-financial factors affect corporate sukuk rating (dependent variable) in Indonesia in 2015-2019. In this research, we employ profitability, liquidity, leverage, secure and firm size as the independent variables. This research uses the secondary data from financial statements available at Indonesia Stock Exchange and the company’s web. The object of this research is all companies receiving rating sukuk from PT PEFINDO. This research uses a quantitative approach with ordinal logistic regression while the sample is obtained through a purposive sampling method. The results show that profitability, liquidity, secure and firm size have a significant effect on sukuk rating, meanwhile leverage does not have a significant effect on sukuk rating.

Abstract

The function of money turns into multifunctional. The variety of money types are mainly as a medium of exchange for human needs. The broad understanding of money is something that can be generally accepted as a means of payment within a particular territory or as a means of paying debts and a tool for purchasing goods and services. The definition of money in the economic sense is a medium of exchange that can be accepted in general by the whole community and carry out the process of exchanging goods and services. In Islamic economics, etymologically money comes from the word al-naqdu-nuqud. The meaning is that there are several meanings, namely al-naqdu which means good from dirham, grasping dirham, and al-naqdu also means cash. The word nuqud is not found in the Qur'an and hadith because the Arabs generally do not use nuqud to indicate price. The function of money can determine human activities, money can meet the needs of life and facilitate social activities. Money can be seen in terms of laws, logic, and traditions that can be accepted as the value of gold and silver. The currency derived from the material of the two metals cannot be said to be a currency.
