This study aims to determine the efforts of Islamic Financial Institutions in empowering SMEs, strategies and important roles carried out by LKS in order to empower SMEs through the provision of capital to be managed in business. The method used in this research is descriptive analysis method, a method that only describes various forms of paradigms about empowerment strategies for SMEs, the most important data sources in this study are related to the search for library data, relevant books, and scientific papers. others relevant to the object of study. The results of this study indicate that there has been much power and effort carried out by the Islamic Finance Agency in order to empower SMEs, this can be proven by the existence of several programs, products, and financing aimed directly at SMEs. The strategy used is; provide complete information as well as promotion to SMEs, provide financing for their business development, provide financing in accordance with the type of business that SMEs are involved in with the concept of sharia principles. The implication of this research is to continue to provide services professionally and provide the best so that they are truly able to provide community welfare, more selective in providing financing so as to minimize the losses that will occur, increase technological resources so that SMEs can easily access information.

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to find out the concept of Islamic business ethics and its implementation in Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) are individual businesses or business entities that are currently experiencing rapid development. Its development certainly must be accompanied by ethical awareness as exemplified by Rasulullah saw. which is actualized through his characteristics. Thus, the business carried out is not just to get profit only but also blessing. Therefore, Islamic business ethics in Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) is very important to implement.

Abstract

SMEs business have a very important role in Indonesia's economic development and growth. The contribution of SMEs to Indonesia's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) is 60.64% and absorbs a workforce of 97%, many of which have business management oriented to Islamic values but there are still those who violate their implementation. This study aims to find out about Islamic values which consist of halalness, honesty, quality of service, friendliness. in micro, small and medium enterprises (SMEs) especially in beverage products. The application of good Islamic values will create harmony in terms of Islamic business management. With this harmony in business, it will improve performance and productivity that is good for business people. This study analyzes the role of Islamic values on the management of SMEs performance in Beverage Products. This type of research uses descriptive qualitative research methods, by conducting observations directly to the publisher and interviews with employees, managers and the surrounding community, Technical Data analysis is done by reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that Islamic values have a positive effect on the performance of SMEs Yotta in the city of Makassar.

Abstract

This study is descriptive and theoretical to anticipate the occurrence of losses arising from the contingency conditions in the services of sharia banks that implement the system for the results. The accounting treatment according to Ariani (2012) in the implementation of the principle of profit sharing is not fully in accordance with the principles of Islamic sharia. The compliance on the Statement of Financial Accounting Standard (SFAS) No.59 concerning Islamic banking financial accounting of the science, but there are not yet according to science Fiqh Syafi'iyah, because SAK is made for businesses that are full profit oriented while sharia principles are oriented to profit and mutual interest. Another thing that arises is the risk of uncertainty in the form of contingencies. Contingent transactions have not affected the position in the company's balance sheet and profit and loss. Contingencies under PSAK No.31 must be presented in such a way that when associated with assets and liabilities items can adequately represent the bank's financial position. Contingency is a transaction that has not changed the position of the bank's assets and liabilities at the report date, but the must be executed by the bank if the terms agreed with the customer are met.  The result in, the contingent impacts may be claims or liabilities in both Rupiah and Foreign Currency. For that reason, banks need to make capital reserves derived from income, profit, general analysis of funding, and reserves of special purpose to anticipate contingent conditions that occurred, and be borne by the bank concerned

Abstract

Small and Medium Enterprises in the city of Makassar continue to experience rapid development. One of the challenges in Small and Medium Enterprises in Makassar is the low financial performance of SMEs. This is caused by low productivity because the quality of human resources is still low because of the lack of knowledge and entrepreneurial competence. Good management of intellectual capital can improve the company's financial performance. This study aims to examine the effect of intellectual capital on financial performance with a competitive advantage as an intervening variable in small and medium enterprises in the city of Makassar. This research conducted a quantitative method with an associative approach. Data of this research was primary data collected through questionnaire surveys. The research used multiple linear regression and path analysis with IBM Statistics SPSS 21. The results showed that intellectual capital had a positive and significant effect on the financial performance of SMEs in Makassar. Furthermore, intellectual capital impacted the competitive advantage of SMEs in Makassar city positively and significantly. Competitive advantage was also proven to have a positive and significant influence on the financial performance of SMEs in Makassar. The results of this study also indicated that competitive advantage was a mediating variable between the relationship of intellectual capital to the financial performance of SMEs in Makassar.

Abstract

Poverty is an unresolved social problem. One solution to improve the welfare of the poor is the distribution of zakat and empowerment of zakat. The problem of zakat faced today is very complex, start from the fact that there are still some people who won't pay zakat until the distribution of zakat that has not been arranged neatly. The approach used in this research was desciptive qualitative.Descriptive qualitative research seeks to analyze and interpret data has been collected  from the relevant literature. In distributing zakat there are two types of forms, namely consumptive and productive. Especially for zakat productive , giving this type of zakat to empower mustahik to be more productive, independent, and to improve their lives through their potential. Consumptive is understood that zakat is simple distributed such as zakat  distributed in the form of zakat items which are used up or used up. Zakat is no longer scarred because it has been used in daily mustahik. However, productive zakat is distributed not to be spent but to be developed .The model of giving zakat productive includes business capital or loans to mustahik whose daily activities are economic activists, whether traders or others. One of the most suitable schemes to be applied in distributing productive zakat is qardhul hasan. This scheme was known as a loan that was given to someone for free without any imposition of fees unless only returning the principal. Distribution of zakat productive  use the qardul hasan scheme make it easy and not burdensome for mustahik, and the qardhul hasan scheme will avoid usury, and mustahik can maximize it business income. The running distribution of zakat productive with the qardhul hasan scheme can be improve the people's economic welfare.

Abstract

Islamic philanthropy is one of the pillars in economic development. Islamic philanthropy consists of zakat, infaq, shadaqah and waqf. The asset turnover from the muzakki to mustahik aims to reduce poverty. Islamic philanthropy which is managed professionally through productive programs in the development of small and medium micro enterprises is expected to be able to transform mustahik to be muzakki. Republika Dompet Dhuafa Foundation as one of the national amil zakat institutions that has an economic development program is expected to be able to develop small and medium micro businesses in Indonesia. The method used in the research is descriptive qualitative method, which describes the source of fundraising and distribution of ZISWAQ at the Dompet Dhuafa Republika Foundation.

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is  to determine the deconstruction of the role Islamic banks in the SMEs sector in order berkemajuan stretching the domino effect on employment. In order to facilitate the systematic writing of this journal using the literature review methodology . The results of this paper's study show that the effort to advance SMEs is very necessary, seeing the potential and role that is very urgent for our nation, especially related to the absorption of labor that is able to contribute the most to the Indonesian national economy. The more moldy effort, the more labor intensive, thus will reduce unemployment which is a major challenge for the country. SMEs must continue to be encouraged with full support from the government.In conducting and developing its business, it is crowded with entrepreneurs who need capital access support in order to maintain the suistainable of their business. The function of Islamicbanks for SMEs is very much needed as an intermediary institution that collects public funds and channels them back in the form of financing products with various contracts that are in accordance with the provisions of Islamic law.

Abstract

Young investors are unique in terms of making investment decisions. This study aims to examine the impact of illusion of control, overconvidence and emotion on investment decisions made by young investors in the city of Makassar. Using quantitative method, 114 investors are available as participants to answer the questionnaire of this research. The sampling technique used is accidental sampling. The results of the study show that Illusion of Control partially has a positive and significant impact on investment decisions. Overconvidence partially has a positive and significant impact on investment decisions. Emotions partially have a positive and significant impact also on investment decisions. Simultaneously illusion of control, overconvidence and emotion have a positive and significant effect on investment decisions. The findings of this study show that young investors in the city of Makassar involve psychological bias in making investment decisions.

Abstract

Every individual needs treasure to fulffill  every of his/her life needs so individual will always trying to get the property, one of the way by doing the investment decision. This Research purposed to test the Influence of Financial Knowledge and Financial Attitude towards society investment decision at Makassar City with risk tolerance as control variable. Sampling technique using probability sampling method with amount of sample minimum of 60. From the tests performed based on the result of partial test (test t) for financial knowledge and financial attitude show significant positive impact towards investment decision. It means that the higher the knowledge and the better financial attitude of a person, the better investment decision will be made. Contol variable analysis with using partial correlation test shows that risk tolerance  could controlled the relation of financial knowledge and financial attitude towards investment decision.
