Abstract

This research investigates the influence of village funds, allocation strategies, policies, and institutional frameworks on community welfare and accountability in village fund management. Utilizing a quantitative approach, a sample of 54 respondents from villages surrounding the Pandaan sub-district was selected using purposive sampling techniques. Data was collected through Google Forms and analyzed using the SmartPLS program, employing both inner and outer model analyses. The findings indicate significant positive effects of village fund variables, allocation strategies, and policies on community welfare. However, village institutional variables were found to have no significant impact on community welfare. These results underscore the importance of effective management strategies and policies in ensuring the welfare of communities in rural settings, thereby informing policymakers and stakeholders involved in local governance and development. Findings highlight the significance of allocation strategies and policies in enhancing community welfare. Abstract

This quantitative study investigates the influence of tax planning, profitability, liquidity, and dividend policy on firm value in the chemical sub-sector manufacturing companies listed on the IDX during 2017-2021. Employing Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis on a sample of 50 companies selected through purposive sampling, we found that tax planning and profitability significantly impact firm value, while liquidity and dividend policy exhibit no such effect. Additionally, firm size moderates the relationship between tax planning and dividend policy with firm value but does not moderate the relationship between liquidity and profitability with firm value. These findings provide insights for policymakers and practitioners regarding the significance of tax planning strategies and the interplay between firm size and key determinants of firm value within the chemical manufacturing sector Highlights : Tax planning and profitability significantly influence firm value in the chemical manufacturing sector. Firm size moderates the relationship between tax planning and dividend policy with firm value. Abstract

This research delves into the intricate relationship between corporate social responsibility (CSR), dividend policy, profitability, and company value within the consumer goods sector of the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2019 to 2022. Employing a purposive sampling method, 27 companies were selected for analysis using SPSS techniques. The study reveals a noteworthy finding: while dividend policy shows no significant impact, both CSR and profitability significantly influence company value. This underscores the critical importance of integrating social responsibility practices into corporate strategies, as they not only contribute to enhanced company value but also augment profitability. These findings have substantial implications for businesses, emphasizing the imperative of embracing CSR initiatives as integral components of sustainable corporate development strategies. Abstract

This study explores the challenges encountered by residents within Indonesian national parks, focusing specifically on the local communities in the Sukamade Geoforest Coastal area of Meru Betiri National Park. Despite the recognized need for regional government and community involvement in park management, this research identifies a significant gap in effective community empowerment and management practices. Employing qualitative descriptive methods, including observations, interviews, and literature reviews, the study analyzes data using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana interactive method, which includes data condensation, display, and verification. The findings reveal multifaceted issues faced by the Sukamade community, ranging from administrative and legal challenges to socio-cultural and environmental awareness problems. These results underline the necessity of integrating local communities into national park management to enhance environmental conservation efforts and community welfare, suggesting a reevaluation of current governance frameworks to address these complexities. Abstract

This study evaluates the effectiveness of the Plavon Dukcapil website in enhancing population administration in the Mining Village government. Using a descriptive qualitative method, the research focuses on four indicators: program target accuracy, socialization, objectives, and monitoring. Results show that while the website effectively serves its intended community, socialization efforts are lacking, leading to limited awareness among less tech-savvy residents. Despite human resource challenges, the website meets its objective of expediting administrative processes. However, formal monitoring is absent. The findings suggest a need for better socialization, continuous monitoring, and enhanced training for human resources to optimize e-government services at the village level. Abstract

This study analyzes the implementation of the SIPRAJA Application Program for population administration services in Bluru Kidul Village. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation, and analyzed using Miles and Huberman's model. The study, guided by Merille S. Grindle's framework, found that while SIPRAJA aligns with its objectives and provides timely service satisfaction, it faces challenges in socialization and technological readiness. Only 19% of residents use the program, preferring conventional services due to technological limitations and unavailable system features. The findings highlight the need for improved socialization and training to enhance resident participation and system effectiveness, contributing to smart city goals. Abstract

In the digital era, social media platforms like TikTok are increasingly used for political campaigns. This study examines the PAN party's use of the viral TikTok song "PAN 12" to engage students, using Davidoff’s public perception theory. Employing a qualitative descriptive method with six student informants from Sidoarjo, the research reveals mixed perceptions: some find the content engaging, while others criticize it for lacking substantive political content. The findings highlight that while TikTok can reach a wider audience and enable direct interaction with voters, it risks prioritizing popularity over political substance. Therefore, the PAN party should address criticisms with transparency and substantial communication to enhance understanding of their political goals. Highlights: TikTok engages a wider audience for political campaigns. "PAN 12" song evokes mixed reactions from students. Balance popularity with substantive communication to address criticisms. Abstract

This study explores the implementation of Law Number 6 of 2014 in Gempol Village, Pasuruan Regency, focusing on factors hindering and supporting village officials' performance in orderly village administration. Using a descriptive qualitative approach with interviews, observation, and documentation, the research reveals challenges in communication, resource management, bureaucratic structure, and organizational culture among officials. Findings indicate a need for improved communication, resource allocation, and organizational culture to enhance Law Number 6 of 2014's effectiveness and overall village administration performance. Abstract

This research analyzes the quality of population administration services in Kejapanan village, Gempol District, Pasuruan Regency, focusing on both inhibiting and supporting factors. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were gathered through interviews, observations, and documentation with village officials and community users. Findings indicate deficiencies in service facilities, reliability due to established standards, responsiveness through a suggestion box, inadequate punctuality, and strong empathy from officials. Challenges include human resource quality and employee discipline, while training supports service improvements. Enhancing facilities, discipline, and training are recommended to boost service quality. Highlights: Service Deficiencies: Gaps in facilities, infrastructure, and punctuality impact quality.
