Alhadharah: Jurnal Ilmu Dakwah promotes normative and empirical inquiry into dakwah and communication. The journal publishes articles in communication and broadcasting Islam, dakwah and media, Islamic counseling, dakwah management, and philosophy of dakwah, as well as articles that approach the role of dakwah in media and society from a historical, psychological, sociological, or anthropological standpoint.

This paper discusses the students' perceptions of the political parties participating in the communication process of the 2014 elections in terms of political communicator, messages, channels or media, targets , and the effects of political communication. Based on students' perceptions of the five factors of political communication process it is found that a very good political communicator is from the Golkar Party, namely 28.6% of respondents, very good political message of the Democratic Party 31.0%, or excellent media channel of political party of NasDem 26.2%, the excellent political targets of NasDem Party 19.0%, and the very good effects of political communication from Hanura 16.7%. This article suggests the need for improving socialization of political parties including the five factors of political communication process, so that the party eletability level will be better and the level of community abstentions can be pressed or lowerer

Humans are social creatures who need a good relationship with other people, and have the urge to relate to other people and other impulses such as curiosity, self-actualization, and so on, it will be discarded by communicating with each other. Because humans can always develop and be able to carry out community life, of course, with communication, which can be done at any time, when, by whom and with anyone. Likewise with communication for a child in a family who has work to be used in the community. Parents in a family become a figure for children in the form of the same thing, behavior, speech words formed by parents of parents. The key pattern of communication in the family that is built will affect the parenting style of the children. With good communication patterns will create good parenting patterns, the formation of children in the family form as an effort of parents for the virtue of behaving that must be done early is the basis of education. The formation of awareness as the basis of education is a manifestation of the formation of a child's personality.

The recent outbreak of hoaxes and hate speech on social media is very concerning. Through a medium, various opinions are easily expressed. But what is unfortunate is that this freedom is not accompanied by knowledge in its use, so negative impacts such as hoaxes or fake news and hate speech quickly spread everywhere. Therefore, this study aims to provide answers related to this problem. Through the local wisdom of the Banjar people in the form of proverbs that have been taught for generations. They turn out to contain Islamic principles that can be used in communication, especially in countering hoaxes and hate speech on social media, such as the principle of qaulan sadida, tawakkuf, speaking well or silent, tabayyun, and the principle of iqra or revitalizing literacy culture. The purpose of writing this article is to find out what causes hoaxes and hate speech to spread quickly and how the role of the Banjarese proverb from an Islamic perspective in counteracting hoaxes and hate speech on social media. The writing method applied in this article is library research from various sources and with a qualitative descriptive approach

Work is the main pillar in production. Working as a production factor has a great meaning. Since all the natural wealth is useless if it is not exploited by humans and processed by workers. Nature has provided untold wealth, but without human effort will all be retained. Islam encourages Muslims to produce and play a role in various forms of economic activity in the form of agriculture, plantation, fishery, industry, and trade. By working person will be able to produce goods and services, and by the way as it did the workers will earn money so that they can meet their needs and their families. In addition, the work (production) someone will be spared of action beg.Bekerja merupakan sendi utama dalam produksi. Bekerja sebagai faktor produksi mempunyai arti yang besar. Karena semua kekayaan alam tidak berguna bila tidak dieksploitasi oleh manusia dan diolah oleh buruh (pekerja). Alam telah memberikan kekayaan yang tidak terhitung, tetapi tanpa usaha manusia semua akan tetap tersimpan. Islam menganjurkan umatnya untuk memproduksi dan berperan dalam berbagai bentuk aktifitas ekonomi baik berupa pertanian, perkebunan, perikanan, perindustrian, dan perdagangan. Dengan bekerja seseorang akan mampu menghasilkan barang dan jasa, dan dengan jalan seperti itu pula para pekerja akan mendapatkan penghasilan sehingga dapat memenuhi kebutuhan hidupnya serta keluarganya. Selain itu, dengan bekerja (berproduksi) seseorang akan terhindar dari tindakan meminta-minta.

As social beings, each individual will always interact with others. Dakwah is one form of social interaction. It required the ability to understand, respond, get to know other people and convey the desired message and purpose. Interpersonal skills are basic skills that should be owned by individuals so that interactions can go smoothly, including the implementation of dakwah. Interpersonal skills help preachers to understand and respect other people, which in turn can lead to success in the implementation of persuasive dakwah. This paper specifically explores the importance of interpersonal skills for a preacher in the implementation of persuasive dakwah.Sebagai makhluk sosial, setiap individu akan senantiasa berinteraksi dengan individu lainnya. Dakwah merupakan salah satu bentuk kegiatan interaksi sosial. Untuk itu diperlukan kemampuan memahami, merespon, mengenal orang lain dan menyampaikan pesan dan maksud yang diinginkan. Interpersonal skill merupakan keterampilan dasar yang harus dimiliki individu agar interaksi dapat berjalan lancar, termasuk dalam pelaksanaan dakwah. Keterampilan interpersonal membantu da’i dalam memahami dan menghargai orang lain, yang pada akhirnya dapat membawa kesuksesan dalam pelaksanaan dakwah persuasif. Tulisan ini secara khusus mengupas tentang pentingnya interpersonal skill bagi seorang da’i dalam pelaksanaan dakwah persuasif.

Mass media have a strong influence in creating the image of characters. The actions and behavior of Osama (Usama) as the leader of al Qaeda also not immune from the attention of the media. When he was killed by the military elite of Obama, the events are the news headlines in a number of international and national media. Two major newspapers in Indonesia also took a moment to compose how media policy is. Through study groups, the authors traced the creation of the meaning behind the choices of topics taken by two media sources through its affiliates. Republika chooses headlines representing subjectivity Islamic-leaning newspaper, giving sympathy and empathy on the issue of Islamic societies in the middle east, whereas Kompas prefers describing the greatness and success of the United States crippled Osama, while putting out the issue to the world's terrorists locality Indonesia.

At the national policy of the Republic of Indonesia in 2010-2025 to prioritize the development of national character, because the Indonesian people at this time the values start from national identity, higher, contradictory, towards people of different religions, ethnicities and cultures. To build this character, the world of education is the backbone to carry out the mission of building multicultural characters of Indonesian citizens. Salafi Islamic Boarding School or Islamic Boarding School is one of the educational institutions in Indonesia, which also has an obligation to build the multicultural character of the students. How did the Salafiyah Islamic Boarding School develop the multicultural character of the students? The research method in this research is descriptive qualitative, data collection techniques with observation, interviews and documentaries. The results of this study found that the development of multicultural character in Salafiyah Islamic boarding school in an integrated manner in the field of moral education in an integrated manner, the organizational culture of the Salafiyah Islamic boarding school could develop the multicultural character of students, leaders, chaplains and teachers help display a very important practice for guests .

The values of Islam in society are very important. Moreover, the highly complex challenges of our time. Internalization of Islamic values does not just rely on family or school environment. However, it should also involve the media. Because the media have been criticised as a factor in the destruction of the morality and ethics of society rather than enlightening the nation. The negative effects of accessing media are more dominant than the positive ones. Media managers should have the awareness to build and preserve the moral values of the nation. For that, the media is expected to have a formula in shaping and planting of Islamic values to the minds of the audience. The media should be able to transform itself into a form of locomotive movement in internalization of Islamic teachings, because the majority of media audiences are Muslims. Through Islamic media, it is expected to create social structures that have Islamic mindset and behavior in daily life
