Abstract

This study aims to analyse the effect of embargo policies on access and satisfaction levels among users of the digital library collection at the UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya Library. Referring to the rector's decree number 1308, the embargo was implemented in order to maintain originality for the purposes of publication and patent rights. This study uses a quantitative method with a survey approach, with a research population of 500 people and a sample of 84 people. Data collection was carried out through questionnaires distributed to library users involved. Data analysis was carried out using simple linear regression analysis techniques to determine the extent to which the embargo policy affects the level of access and use of digital collections in the library. The results of the study show that (1) the embargo policy implemented at the UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya Library has a significant impact on access to digital collections. This means that the better users' perceptions of the embargo policy, the higher their access to available digital collections. (2) The embargo policy also affects the level of user satisfaction in accessing digital collections; the implementation of a clear and transparent embargo policy increases user satisfaction. (3) The impact of the embargo policy is felt by all academic community users, including students, lecturers, and the general public.

Abstract

Studi ini menelaah strategi kepala sekolah dalam mengelola konflik sosial dan kedisiplinan siswa di SMA Negeri 3 Kota Sorong sebagai sekolah negeri dengan karakteristik multikultural. Konflik sosial siswa dipicu oleh perbedaan latar belakang, persepsi, dan pola komunikasi yang berpotensi mengganggu iklim sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi bentuk konflik, aktor yang terlibat, mekanisme penyelesaian konflik, serta pendekatan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah. Ruang lingkup kajian dibatasi pada praktik manajemen konflik di tingkat pendidikan menengah. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi yang melibatkan kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah bidang kesiswaan, guru bimbingan dan konseling, wali kelas, serta siswa. Analisis data dilakukan secara interaktif melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan simpulan. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konflik dikelola melalui sistem penyelesaian bertingkat yang dipadukan dengan pendekatan personal dan kekeluargaan, sehingga berkontribusi terhadap terciptanya iklim sekolah yang aman, tertib, dan kondusif serta mendukung keberlanjutan proses pembelajaran yang inklusif dan berkeadilan di lingkungan sekolah menengah negeri multikultural.

Abstract

Kemerosotan moral telah melanda peserta didik seperti perilaku tawuran, narkoba, mabuk-mabukan dan lain-lainnya. Kemerosotan moral peserta didik tersebut disebabkan karena belum maksimalnya pelaksanaan manajemen penguatan pendidikan karakter dalam dunia pendidikan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Madrasah Ibtida’iyah Ar-Rahman Merombok yang memiliki siswa heterogen. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan secara mendalam manajemen penguatan pendidikan karakter dan perang orangtua siswa dalam manajemen penguatan pendidikan karakter di Madrasah Ibtida’iyah Ar-Rahman Merombok. Penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan: penerapkan prinsip-prinsip manajemen yang baik, adanya kolaborasi: orangtua, pemerintah dan madrasah dalam mengelola program-program Madrasah, direncanakan dengan baik, efisien dan efektif dapat meningkatkan karakter positif pada siswa. Perencanaan yang matang, organisasi yang efisien, pengarahan yang jelas, dan pengendalian yang terus menerus menjadi landasan untuk mencapai tujuan penguatan pendidikan karakter yang diinginkan. Dalam mengelola program-program Madrasah, baik kegiatan intra maupun ekstra kurrikuler, kepala sekolah selalu mengontrol pelaksanaanya.

Abstract

The curriculum is a fundamental component in the education system that functions as a guideline in the implementation of the learning process. The development of science, technology, and the dynamics of community needs requires the development of a curriculum that is adaptive and relevant to the demands of the times. One of the important aspects of curriculum development is the approach used in the design process. This research aims to analyze various approaches in curriculum development and their implications for improving the quality of learning. The research uses a qualitative approach with the library research method through the study of various literature sources such as books, journal articles, and relevant academic documents. The results of the study show that the curriculum development approach has a strategic role in determining the direction, content, and implementation of learning. Some of the approaches commonly used in curriculum development include the academic subject approach, the humanistic approach, the technological approach, and the social reconstruction approach. Each approach has its own characteristics and contributions in supporting the achievement of educational goals. Therefore, the integration of these various approaches is needed so that the curriculum is able to answer the needs of students and community development more comprehensively.

Abstract

The role of women as school principals often clashes with the habits of society that consider the position of top leader only suitable for men. In fact, a complete understanding of religious teachings never limits this. This study uses a comprehensive literature review to dissect and examine various sources of writing related to the variety of women's leadership in the lens of the Qur'an. The results of the study show that the coveted female leadership style prioritizes the path of deliberation, intellect, and an approach to compassion, as exemplified by Ratu Balqis. The main condition of the position of leader in the Qur'an fully emphasizes self-ability, honesty, and courage to do justice, not at all on gender. In the field, female leaders have proven to be resilient in organizing school affairs neatly and creating a supportive learning atmosphere. In conclusion, the biggest obstacle to women's leadership does not come from religious prohibitions, but from outdated and rigid societal customs. The success of female school principals today is clear evidence that Islamic teachings really uphold the value of justice, while slowly collapsing the narrow views that have been limiting women's movement space in the realm of education.
