Abstract

AbstractThis research is motivated by the collapse of the value of character education that is being planted by students, especially high school students. The teenage age instability, students are easily influenced by the social environment; to avoid this they must get used to love reading, namely reading novels. Many life values can be taken from this novel, especially in the value of character education so it can motivate readers about the world of education that can be used as a model in behave. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The object of this research is the novel Sekolah Pohon by Eko Kusumawijaya. Data were analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis techniques with assessment and description of the data that had been obtained. The method of data collection is done by conducting literature studies. The result of this study are: (1) the value of character education in the novel Sekolah Pohon by Eko Kusumawijaya uses a pragmatic approach which includes religious values, honesty, discipline, hard work, creative, independent, curiosity, democratic, appreciate achievement, friendly/communicative, love of peace, likes to read, environmental care, social care, and responsibility; and (2) the novel Sekolah Pohon by Eko Kusumawijaya has relevance as a literary teaching material in high school in accordance with the syllabus and lesson plans.Keywords: novel, value of character education, pragmatic approach, teaching     material

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe choice of the problem of classroom action research is based on the fact that students' ability to read news texts is still very low. Whereas with the mastery of Indonesian language lessons in general students do not have difficulty learning other subjects. This research was conducted in July to November 2015, because in those months the students had completed the first semester of the general exam and were still at the beginning of the second semester so that the students' conditions could be observed from the beginning.Cooperative Method STAD is a learning method wherein the learning process teaches the teacher to invite students to work together in groups to complete assignments in the classroom and allow students to find information on information that can be traditionally told or disguised.From this writing it can be concluded that with the motivation in learning STAD cooperative learning methods the students' ability to read news scripts increases and learning outcomes will be optimal. The more precise the motivation given, the more successful the lesson will be. With high motivation, the intensity of student learning efforts will also be high. So motivation will always determine the intensity of student learning. This will improve student understanding.Keywords: Reading News Scripts, Cooperative STAD

Abstract

Writing skill for Argumentation Paragraph for students in SMA N 1 Menyuke, regency on the tenth grade in secondA semeste. The purpose of this research was described students writing skill for argumentation paragraph based on the aspect observation from the unity of paragraph, coherence of paragraph, development of paragraph. This research used descriptive in qualitative method. The instrument of this research was written test for argumentation paragraph. The result of this research were 95% for the unity of paragraph, 44,37% for coherence of paragraph, 51,87%.The general conclusion of this research showed students writing skill in argumentation paragraph for students on the tenth grade in SMA N 1 Menyuke Landak regency in second semester 2014/2015 achieved the score 63,54% with ranges 56%-65% categorized poor to average, whether there are some aspect must be increase.

Abstract

Abstrak: Manusia tidak dapat menghindar dari membuat interpretasi (hermeneutika). Eksistensi manusia merupakan suatu proses penafsiran yang terus berlangsung dan interpretasi merupakan kegiatan paling dasar pikiran manusia. Interpretasi yang dilakukan terhadap teks, serta tanda-tanda yang dapat dipahami manusia. Semua wacana, apakah dokumen hukum, kitab suci, karya sastra, seni pada hakikatnya sama. Semua teks menggunakan bahasa sebagai media komunikasi. Kemampuan pembaca memahami (Verstehen) teks merupakan masalah pokok. Pemahaman adalah suatu rekonstruksi, bertolak dari ekspresi yang selesai diungkapkan  kembali ke suasana kejiwaan ekspresi itu diungkapkan. Teks yang dapat diinterpretasikan bukan hanya pada teks, tetapi dapat juga kepada setiap tindakkan manusia yang memiliki makna, yakni tindakan manusia yang disengaja untuk mencapai tujuan tertentu. Untuk mengkajian teks yang dipakai untuk berkomunikasi dapat menggunakan hermeneutik Friederich Scheiermacher dan hermeneutika Paul Ricoeur. Tiap pakar memberikan solusi langkah-langkah untuk mengkaji teks.                       Kata Kunci: Bahasa, Simbol, Hermeneutika

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to describe the role of information and communication technology in Indonesian language learning in tertiary institutions. The research method is in the form of literature review or literature study. This research examines critically and deeply the theoretical sources associated with the problems in research. Based on the research results, the following conclusions can be drawn. (1) Information and communication technology is related to communication and information, computers, and a set of other technology-based tools that are experiencing rapid development and affecting education in Indonesia, especially in Indonesian language learning in tertiary institutions. Information and communication technology can be used as a means for compiling data and so on relating to education, especially in learning; (2) Learning has a meaning as a process to gain an experience in accordance with the purpose of a lesson, in learning Indonesian, an attractive medium is needed so that students are more interested in learning. Information and communication technology can be used as a means to increase student interest in learning Indonesian; (3) information and communication technology can be utilized in the four competencies that exist in Indonesian, namely writing, speaking, listening, and reading. Through the use of information and communication technology, it can improve the quality of lessons, student quality, student interest, and at the same time improve the quality of lecturers in technology.  Keywords: Information and Communication Technology, Indonesian Language Learning, Higher Education

Abstract

The Covid 19 pandemic problem is becoming a big problem for people or citizens of this part of the world. The government has handled various things in order to reduce and break the chain of the virus, such as maintaining distance, wearing a mask and always washing your hands after or before handling objects or shaking. The government strives to do this so that the chain of disease will end soon, but it is still difficult for the government to handle it by itself, there must be self-awareness in the community so that all diseases end. The impact and impact of this virus is enormous for the economy, education, and even people's livelihoods. The impact that concerns me the most is in the world of education, because everything is done from home while parents do not always understand the schoolwork given by the teacher. Parents also have their own busyness in earning a living and giving roles in their responsibilities as parents. In this study using a qualitative method that does not use numbers in data collection and providing interpretation of the results.Keywords: Covid-19, the role of parents, Indonesian language lessons.

Abstract

Pembelajaran sastra dimaksudkan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa mengapresiasi karya sastra. Kegiatan mengapresiasi cerpen berkaitan erat dengan latihan mempertajam perasaan, penalaran, dan daya khayal, serta kepekaan terhadap masyarakat, budaya, dan lingkungan hidup. Siswa diharapkan mampu menikmati, menghayati, memahami, dan memanfaatkan karya sastra pada umumnya dan cerpen khususnya untuk mengembangkan kepribadian, memperluas wawasan kehidupan, serta meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kemampuan berbahasa. Diharapkan siswa mampu menikmati, menghayati, memahami, dan memanfaatkan cerpen untuk mengembangkan kepribadian, memperluas wawasan kehidupan, serta meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kemampuan berbahasa. Membaca cerpen akan membantu siswa menjadi manusia berbudaya yang responsif terhadap nilai-nilai luhur dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat. Siswa yang berbudaya demikian diharapkan menjadi manusia yang agung namun tetap sederhana, bebas tetapi mengontrol diri, kuat tetapi penuh kelembutan.

Abstract

AbstractThis research is motivated by the result of observation which states the lack of writing ability in writing aspect. This is due to several factors one of which is the lack of student interest in writing skills, making it difficult to pour ideas of students. The problem of this study is how the process of learning, activity and motivation of students, and the results of learning discovery learning in students of class VII F SMP Negeri 8 Pontianak?This study was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, acting, observation, and reflecting. The research method used is descriptive method, the research form is qualitative, the research procedure is classroom action research (PTK). Data were taken using test and non test instrument. The data collection tools used are the observation sheet, motivation questionnaire, and the learning result test.The results showed that the discovery learning method can improve the learning result of writing fable text on the students of class VII F SMP Negeri 8 Pontianak. It was found that: (1) learning process of writing fable text using discovery learning method has increased. (2) activity and motivation of student in learning to write text of fable by using discovery learning method each cycle better. (3) learning outcomes are also increasing. This is seen in the average of each cycle, in cycle 1 average 73.96, cycle 2 increased to 85.68. (4) students' attitudes following learning improved greatly. Keywords: Writing skill, Text Fable, Discovery Learning Method.

Abstract:The existence of the internet in the era of technology as now has an extraordinary influence on the world community. The internet contains various insights into knowledge and information and gave birth to new terms in various fields, one of which is in the field of literature, namely cyber literature or cyber literature. The scope of literature in the cyber world is broad and varied because it involves the global community. Don’t want to be left behind, Islamic religious literary genre also contributes in the literary treasures in the cyber world with Islamic literary works published by the author on blogs, sites, application media, and other social media networks. The existence of various pages of Islamic cyber-nuanced literature creates a new trend in the digital technology user community in Indonesia. This journal presents a discussion of Islamic religious literary trends in the cyber realm in the Indonesian population. This research uses a qualitative study with descriptive analysis. The results of this study reveal the trend of the Islamic literary genre in cyber literature in Indonesia

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kesalahan bahasa pada aplikasi media pembelajaran Zenius online, dalam aplikasi materi pelajaran disampaikan melalui video.  Aplikasi ini dapat dinikmati secara gratis oleh siswa mulai dari Sekolah Dasar (SD), Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP), hingga Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA). Media pembelajaran sangat berpengaruh pada hasil pemahaman siswa. Dengan melihat tayangan video pembelajaran Zenius peneliti menemukan beberapa data kesalahan berbahasa dalam tataran fonologi. Disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perubahan fonem, penambahan fonem, dan penggunaan bahasa gaul dalam penyampaian materi pembelajaran..
